@ekam ah in a similar position then, this is my second cycle off the pill after over 10 years on it.

ekam · 21/09/2020 00:32

@Plm28 no my cycle is normally 27-28 days bang on. But I just came off the pills last month, 2 days later had a short (3 days) cycle, and then nothing yet. Last time I came off the pills though AF regulated straight away.

Plm28 · 21/09/2020 00:10

@ekam it’s frustrating waiting isn’t it. On one hand you don’t want it to arrive but on the other if it’s a bfn just want it to come to start another cycle. Do you normally have a long cycle.

ekam · 20/09/2020 23:58

Ladies, can I join please? I’m cd49 today, so same as you @Plm28. Although boobs start to hurt a couples of days back, with lower back cramps and weird tucking sensation in lower belly, so I think AF is probably quite near. I’ll be quite heart broken if she arrives but it’s better than waiting and not knowing I guess.

Plm28 · 20/09/2020 23:15

Day 49 😩

Waitingforbabypage · 20/09/2020 22:17

Cd43 for me. Losing hope massively.
Started getting migraines again. A cluster of 3 days worth, yesterday's has seen me lose feeling in my left arm and leg-terrifying. If they put me back on medication that's me not having a baby- the meds of choice causes miscarriage, cleft lips, low birth weight, behavioural and coordination issues in babies in later life.

Feeling hopeless.

Hufflypuf · 20/09/2020 17:53

Mine has also arrived on DAY 41!!! Time to plan for cycle 3!

claireb7rg · 20/09/2020 07:30

Mines finally arrived (didn't get round to trying the acupressure)

ER20 · 19/09/2020 22:19

And another day with no period. 8 days late now...

Emmie12345 · 19/09/2020 15:20

@claireb7rg try the accupressure on YouTube )

claireb7rg · 19/09/2020 11:13

Although no sign of actual period yet, just the cramps 😩

claireb7rg · 19/09/2020 11:11

So cd41, 23dpo and I've got period pain after some very pale pink spotting yeaterday.

Seems like the cursed cycle 13 is over at last

Amy259 · 19/09/2020 10:40

@Emmie12345 you’re not going to believe this... I did the acupressure last night watching tv and woke up this morning bleeding. Could just be coincidence of course but I’m in shock!

Ems2111 · 18/09/2020 18:38

Hello everyone! I completely understand the frustration... I came off the mini pill in March and have had quite long cycles but was a bit more pleased With the last two cycles being 34 and 35 days but this time Iv just come on (the 41st day!) been such a crappy week as BFN and then late period. I’m sure there’s something wrong with me 🥺... the doctor rang me and told me I can’t worry until next March and no pregnancy but it’s so difficult isn’t it... massive hugs to all struggling like we are!

Waitingforbabypage · 18/09/2020 17:15
@Waitingforbabypage Last time I had my implant out I had a some light bleeding when it was taken out then conceived DS 45 days later. So yes, you can ovulate any time. This time I had the implant taken out 1 September and nothing yet other than the hormone rollercoaster...
I can see me spending a small fortune on internet cheapies

Kirky658 · 18/09/2020 15:33

@Emmie12345 mirena coil.... Glad its gone tbh! It was only useful to stop my heavy bleeding from my endometriosis, was still in agony every month!

Emmie12345 · 18/09/2020 15:00

@Amy259 I had done the wrists previously but they didn’t work so he did the ankle ones for about 20 mins, quite firm pressure - let us know how you go !

OP posts:
Kirky658 · 18/09/2020 14:35

@Emmie12345 yes it's really weird. I have endometriosis and had a surgery end of June and had the coil removed at the same time. I had a 'normal' period well over 6 weeks after the surgery then nothing since until this very odd tiny spotting episode beginning of September. I am starting to think I am not pregnant and It is just all in my head now, one more test at the weekend then that's it for me. I have the follow up appt with my gynaecology consultant for the surgery in October so will query it with him then.

Amy259 · 18/09/2020 13:55

@Emmie12345 I saw your post about that, dear love your DH for helping out. I watched the 2 YouTube videos on it, did you choose any specific point last night? Hands, feet, thumbs, toes or ankles haha?

Emmie12345 · 18/09/2020 13:39

@Kirky658 my first cycle after my copper coil was removed I wanna convinced I was pg and period was late . I think it’s prob just due to hormones settling x

@Amy259 hi and sorry you have this . I took multi vit and q10 and wonder did they delay cycle

I kickstarted mine with some acupressure - worked within 12 hours !

Amy259 · 18/09/2020 13:12

Hi ladies, can I join you all please?

So I had my coil removed 11th June and had a little withdrawal bleed, then af mid-July after . Used OPKs and bd at the right time, but no luck. Af again mid-August (30 day cycle) then bd lots around peak opk - which is around day 18/19.

Fast forward to Monday (11dpo) and I got faint positives on ICs and then an obvious positive on a FRER. But sadly since Tues it’s got fainter and fainter, so I’m pretty sure it’s a CP. But af was due on Tuesday so I’m now 4 days late and showing bfn now. On CD35 and waiting for af to hurry up and show to that I can move on from this sad, rubbishy week!

Only thing I did different was take pregnacare so not sure if they (coupled with the cp) have delayed my cycle?! Other threads I’ve seen with CP don’t seem to delay your cycle much, so I’m thinking it could be the vits. No idea and feeling sad, confused and frustrated!
