@snapple21 oh no haha. I didn't save any of the photos i don't think, will have a look. Can you post a pic? Do you have any strip tests?

snapple21 · 16/09/2020 16:40

Urgent help. @Kaybobx when you got the Evap like on the clear blue test what did it look like??????? I've caved and done a test

Kaybobx · 16/09/2020 16:34

@candycrush2298 ❤❤❤ you girls are the best. Thank you

candycrush2298 · 16/09/2020 16:28

@Kaybobx awww don't be sorry TTC takes a toll on all of us and its completely normal to have a melt down.

I was so hopeful that the soy would have worked for you. And when you think this could be hit its a massive blow when you realise its not so its OK not to be OK.

We are here for you whenever you need to rant!!

Kaybobx · 16/09/2020 16:19

@candycrush2298 I'm literally taking it out on him for not being as upset as me, he would be happy just the 3 of us but I'm literally obsessed for another now.

Thanks and sorry for the rant everyone its just hit me hard today. You get it in your head that this could actually be the month.. then its not. AF defo on the way with my emotions like this 😂 of course will keep you posted what the GP says.

candycrush2298 · 16/09/2020 16:10

@Kaybobx I understand the marriage part. I feel like I have changed as well and I don't think its good. The maca has helped my moods to a point but having a complete melt down every time AF arrived and crying so much into my husbands arms is just making him feel so shit and I'm negatively impacting his self confidence.

Let us know what your GP says tomorrow if you get to chat to them. Hopefully it will only take a couple of weeks.

@Boc86 oooh so sorry i missed your message during my ranting. So glad you've got an appointment. Keep us posted how it goes.

Oh no really? What makes it painful.

@candycrush2298 i can't call now as at work but I'll request to speak to my GP tomorrow and see what they say and a time frame. I'll then decide what im going to do. Its going to start affecting my marriage if i don't do something soon. Its making me so snappy and miserable.

candycrush2298 · 16/09/2020 15:52

@Boc86 sorry had a mental note to reply to your message, thats amazing that you got your infertility appointment so quickly!! Super happy for you please keep us updated on how it goes!! Really hope you get your suppositories for progesterone prescribed there and then lol!!

@Kaybobx yeah I think we are at the same point of our journey. At what point do we just say enough is enough?

You said exactly it!! "Fed up of this taking over my life" I am obsessed with it. Yes I am not trying this cycle and its honestly been freeing but I still BD'd in my fertile window so will still be obsessed in my tww.

What do you think you want to do? You ask your GP about it? If he/she says yes then will you wait on it? And if they say no then what do you want to do?

OP posts:
Boc86 · 16/09/2020 15:46

I’d probably try it because what have you got to lose but do understand the risk and have heard it’s very painful!
I’m 34 also, 35 in April and I really really didn’t want to be much older :(

Kaybobx · 16/09/2020 15:38

@candycrush2298 you've just said exactly everything i am thinking! Im 35 next year, i haven't got all these months to wait and i defo won't get IVF and i defo dont have thousands on my bank for it either. Im just thinking what have i got to lose now? I know we are all in the same boat wanting a baby but im literally fed up of this taking over my life every month and making me miserable.

candycrush2298 · 16/09/2020 15:32

@Kaybobx thats my thinking too, you fork out £320 and then what??? OK you dont have a blockage but 3 months after the HSG you still aren't pg even though it said to make women fertile afterwards but it didn't for you and then what? Like what's the next step?

You see this is why I was so mental last cycle because I get a scan and they find nothing wrong, then waiting a 100 years for the next scan and they find nothing wrong then again waiting for some other test and there's nothing wrong and I will be like 35 before I am eligible for IVF. Its like 7 years of my life tracking, BD'ng on certain days and so on and its like do I honestly want to do this? Do I truly have the strength or the will to want a baby that badly??

So yeah totally know what you mean at what point is there nothing else to do?
I dont know hey. Its all a shambles.

Sorry I am not providing you with any hope or comfort I am just adding to your despair. Maybe you just need this HSG and will conceive after it??? Maybe this will be your "magic"

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 16/09/2020 15:20

@candycrush2298 i thought that too haha.

I'm going to request it from my GP tomorrow and see what he says but its going to take months probably!

I dont really have a spare £320 either but i could put it on my credit card. My only issue is after that, if they again find nothing wrong... then what?

candycrush2298 · 16/09/2020 15:13

@Kaybobx sorry I thought @snapple21 said once I had my scan I could try clomid which made me think since you had yours you could as well. Now I just feel like crying it could take 6 million years before I get an HSG.

This just blows I dont think I'm ever going to have a baby.

Ugh £320 is still a lot of money. Do you have that kind of cash? I heard it makes you fertile after having one done but if you like me and just waiting on the NHS its like how much longer do we have to go through all this tracking 😭😭😭😭

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 16/09/2020 14:50

@snapple21 maybe i should request this then as it hasn't been an option mentioned.

My company just got back to me and i get 20% discount but its still £320 ugh!

snapple21 · 16/09/2020 14:40

Even with second baby they can't diagnose unexplained infertility until they've done tests like the HSG (to check your tubes). This is deffo available on the nhs!

Kaybobx · 16/09/2020 14:39

@Elakiya I'm 34!

I've just seen they do hsg test where i work so sent an enquiry to see if i can get any discount.

I literally can't continue all this tracking stuff its driving me obsessively crazy!

snapple21 · 16/09/2020 14:38

Through ivf meant to say !!

snapple21 · 16/09/2020 14:38

I can imagine how frustrated you are @Kaybobx. I have a friend who has just gone through I feel and she got OHSS and she was poorly, just would hate not to of said anything and you end up sick. But as I always say, life is about weighing up risks and you're an intelligent woman so it's totally up to you! I would hate to tell anyone what to do.

Elakiya · 16/09/2020 14:35

@Kaybobx Aren't you 31/32?

Kaybobx · 16/09/2020 14:28

@Elakiya i don't have a spare £600 unfortunately.

@Welliedays no idea if i have a blockage. The GP hasn't even mentioned looking into it. I have no symptoms at all and have normal cycles

I'm already infertile. I can't make it any worse. If im not pregnant this year im giving up anyway due to my age. I just dont want to be an older parent.

Boc86 · 16/09/2020 14:19

Woo got my infertility appointment next Friday
So happy that came through fast
Hoping the Agnus castus brings my ov forward
Last day of period should be tomorrow

Welliedays · 16/09/2020 14:18

@kaybobx are you definitely sure there's not a blockage then? It sounds like it's a high possibility that there could be unless it's been checked. I don't want to be negative either, but I think we really need to listen to @snapple21 and I really don't want you risking making things worse.

I don't have any symptoms today, actually feel quite normal. But rather than being happy about this fact, it's making me quite nervous as to why I feel so fine!

Elakiya · 16/09/2020 14:16

@Kaybobx Why don't you get the scan to check for blocked tubes done privately (I think I was quoted £600).

@snapple21 If the tubes aren't blocked is it then okay to take Clomid.

I would go back and push your GP and if not then change GP. I know loads of people who have gone through the NHS for a second baby.
