We’re actually in the ferry queue now. I’ve taken paracetamol and ibuprofen. I’m so tempted by tranaxemic acid hen home too. Kept avoiding it “in case this was implantation” cause ibuprofen you can’t take in trimester one but I’m clearly deluding myself and have taken them.

candycrush2298 · 18/09/2020 18:08

@Elakiya hmmm I am not sure. Do you think CD5 would feel more accurate to you? I never spot before AF but I did this cycle was weird but hey ho. I know I calculated mine right purely because if I counted the spotting as day 1 then I would have ovulated (guessing) CD15 which is too late for me but ovulating at CD14 is normal.

@Kaybobx lol guys always just think its going to be fine when its clearly not wish they could think like us 😂😂😂

@ReginaaPhalange whoohoo for BD party starting here hahaha. Sure he is thrilled by the news.

@Elakiya whahahah hide the soy from him. No opks is freeing the consecutive BD'ng is the like the most amazing thing ever!!!!

@Welliedays wow that is so interesting thanks for sharing. Hahahaha yeah I know what you mean about IBS mine doesnt go down either. Well as soon as there is an obvious bump I cannot wait to see it 💜💜💜

@NamechangeTTC oh no I am so so sorry!!! What an absolute blow. I really felt like I saw something this morning I truly have line eyes!! I know this is not how you wanted things to go but I hope you can at least enjoy your holiday sending massive hugs your way xx

Elakiya · 18/09/2020 17:47

@NamechangeTTC
for me hot water bottle, painkillers, chocolate and a long sleep is necessary to get through the first 3 days of AF. I know you’re in a hotel and don’t have everything you need. When are you flying back. Hopefully this doesn’t destroy your whole holiday.

NamechangeTTC · 18/09/2020 17:14

I’m lying on the ground cause I’m so sore. It’s brutal. I want my own bed!!

Elakiya · 18/09/2020 17:01

@NamechangeTTC Awww sorry about AF. Take some time to yourself to cry and let's start again. That's all we can do...

NamechangeTTC · 18/09/2020 14:13

AF here
Light compared to normal and very very dark.
Will count this as cd 1

Welliedays · 18/09/2020 13:23

Go careful @reginaaphlange 😂

@candycrush2298 I found this that shows how high up your uterus goes at which week which I thought was quite interesting! I'd say that bottom bit abovr my pant line but not quite my stomach does seem 'bigger'. They also say if you lie down then if it's bloat it goes away and you're just left with bump... But when my ibs is bad it doesn't go away, so I'm not completely believing that theory! As soon as I'm sure I have a bump I'll definitely share with you!!

@Kaybobx Mine does too. Which is why I need to hide Soy from him. I won't be doing OPK's thankfully that means no consecutive BD-ing lol!

ReginaaPhalange · 18/09/2020 12:36

CD16 and now had a flashing smiley face. Told DH we need to start bd-ing every second day now, even if I pass out with lightheadedness 🤣

Kaybobx · 18/09/2020 12:28

@Elakiya he already says im obsessing and it will happen when it happens and if it doesn't it fine. Well its not fine haha

Elakiya · 18/09/2020 12:19

@Kaybobx You should just tell him. Just explain how its for you etc and you just want answers and NHS are taking too long.

Elakiya · 18/09/2020 12:16

@candycrush2298 I am bit confused on what CD I am in tbh. Basically my cycle day 4 are slightly heavy (not super heavy but I do bleed) I checked today and in the last 4 hours there has been less than a teaspoon of blood. So I am wondering if Monday when I had that light spotting - the dark brown one. Was that Day 1?

candycrush2298 · 18/09/2020 12:09

@snapple21 seems like that was a good thing lol!!! Mine has been a bit later too but its normal for me to vary.

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 18/09/2020 11:54

@Elakiya my insurance doesn't cover it unfortunately, they don't do anything to do with fertility at all which is a shame, id be having it all done lol. At least I get 20% off through my work benefits though, I probably wont tell hubby im putting it on my credit card though!

NamechangeTTC · 18/09/2020 11:35

It delayed mine too.

snapple21 · 18/09/2020 11:05

@candycrush2298 the soy actually delayed my ovulation by a couple of days!

candycrush2298 · 18/09/2020 10:59

@Welliedays yeah I get ahead of myself a lot lol!! I'm just such an excitable person lol!!! When you do get one pleaaaaase share it lol!!!

@Kaybobx oh yeah makes sense if its a smaller store. Hope you find some at the bigger store. Its annoying when amazon doesn't just have what we want lol!!!

@Elakiya yay thats fantastic!! Are you too late for this cycle? CD4? Maybe I will see about doing it next cycle lol!!

@NamechangeTTC I am still hoping its a line and AF doesn't show🤞🤞 hoping you're wasting your pad lol

OP posts:
NamechangeTTC · 18/09/2020 10:46

I just did 120 a day so I’ll try the increase.
I’m all padded up ready today. Did a thread and everyone said no lines

Elakiya · 18/09/2020 10:41

@candycrush2298 I had a look and yep you can take them together. I'll give it a go then. If this month fails I'd do the same dosage as @snapple21 I mean what have you really got to lose. If it wrecks your cycle slightly then its natural and will probably go back to normal in another 2 cycles right?

Kaybobx · 18/09/2020 10:35

@snapple21 thank you. I did 80, 120, 120, 120, 160 I'll try upping the dosage.

@candycrush2298 haha my Tesco don't have any vitamins at all apart from the standard vitc, folic acid, zinc. Probably because its not a superstore. I'll go for a drive out later.

Welliedays · 18/09/2020 10:26

@candycrush2298 no bump yet, I think bumps come quicker in 2md, 3rd etc pregnancies, but not as quickly the first time. I do get quite bloated but I don't think it's an actual bump!

candycrush2298 · 18/09/2020 10:18

@snapple21 truly hoping you get way beyond 7 weeks all the way to full term. Ugh can't even wait to start seeing scans now hahah.

@Elakiya sounds like a good plan to do the HSG privately if you can afford to sounds good.

I am scared to do the same dosage as @snapple21 because my cycles are so much shorter than hers. I dont want to mess them up.

Have you tried searching the forums? Or even asking on mumsnet to see if you can take metformin and soy together???

Congratulations on finishing your first day on 16:8 now you can smash through today!!!

OP posts:
Elakiya · 18/09/2020 10:07

@Kaybobx I agree with @candycrush2298 The HSG needs to be done at the beginning of your cycle. My gynae said between CD 5-7 if I remember correctly. If my insurance fails to pay for the HSG I might also do it myself privately and put it on a credit card with interest free on purchases and then pay it off slowly.

Did you ladies do the same dosage of soy as @snapple21 Maybe give her dosages a try. I am not going to lie I am so tempted to get soy for next cycle so I am going to go and have a look in my local tesco and I am going to stop the metformin next month so I can take it.

I successfully did my 16 hour fast yesterday. Can't wait to do it again today.

snapple21 · 18/09/2020 09:49

@NamechangeTTC I did days 3-7 soy

snapple21 · 18/09/2020 09:49

Ahhh. I think I will book a private scan if I get to 7 weeks for reassurance.
