@Elakiya awww I do picture you being shy 😊

Unfortunately we have no idea we heard via the grapevine she and the quality controller left and moved to Bedford to do what no clue. Fortunately neither of them had children can you imagine leaving your kids behind.

Hahaha your company sounds like its got loads of girls thats usually what girls do hahaha

@candycrush2298 Oh I am super shy and also like just keeping to myself.

I am invested in this manager quitting story. So did the husband find her. Did she have any kids. What a bitch!

OMG that sort of thing never happens around me. I've never heard of anyone hooking up with each other where I work. The team that sit opposite ours (I think they're called compliance) are so bitchy about one another. As each person walks out they'll talk about them was so funny to watch.

candycrush2298 · 07/09/2020 15:54

Just saw on the premom group that a same sex couple only bought two x donor sperm and did self insemination and bam pg this month. So girls don't rule out that insemination lol

@Elakiya oh yes and a few months ago we had a new female manager appointed to the quality team and she was married started an affair with the quality controller and they were going on business trips and booking into hotels for a quick shag using the company credit cards and then they both just quit one lunch time and we found all these wiccan books in her drawers and love potions and spells to keep a man and yeah a few days later her husband called the company and spoke to the receptionist and asked if anyone has seen his wife because he can't find her and wants to open a missing persons report to which the receptionist said no sorry she quit a few days back. So yeah now that was good gossip lol

candycrush2298 · 07/09/2020 15:47

@Elakiya lol like me I am not an introvert in the sense that I am not shy but I do like my own company. Awwww you're so sweet yeah I also don't like family drama. One thing I am so bad for is gossip on people I know though like work gossip omg love it most recent gossip was one of the admins sleeping with one of the managers in the store room whahahahah! Now that gossip I loooove because I know them 🤣🤣🤣
I guess we all have our little quirks whahaha.

Oooh what did they say about it I saw it on amazon but for £32 I just dont really feel the need to buy it lol. I know the cup is a lot shallower so it sits way closer to your cervix but the reviews on amazon are not very good.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 07/09/2020 15:37

@candycrush2298 I don't like drama around me, like not within my family or friends (I don't have lots of friends either I am quite the introvert) but I do love reading the threads on here.

I just saw a thread on ferti-lily cup is that the equivalent of a menstural cup but with a different name?

candycrush2298 · 07/09/2020 14:36

@Elakiya not a huge fan of drama it is why I don't have a lot of friends whahaha. I can't even believe I watched Love Island LOL that was really out my comfort zone. Paranormal = unreal world drama much more of my thing but if its a love triangle I move on very quickly. Only TV series I actually got through that had a love triangle was The Vampire Diaries whahaa.

@candycrush2298 OMG they are the best loads of drama.

@ReginaaPhalange looks like other people have that pain in the butt cheeks symptom you had

candycrush2298 · 07/09/2020 14:06

@Elakiya OMG I had no idea there was a part of Mumsnet that had this. That is wow just crazy. Feel sorry for the girl but at the same time man its like just why... I would not have the patience to be doing all this.

@Elakiya I know right it is absolutely brilliant - I never followed Slimming World like with syn free meals etc. I did full on calorie counting because myfitnesspal worked out the calories and macros based on the meal ideas I got from slimming world. So many fab ideas on switching high calorie foods with lower calorie foods but still having nice yummy meals. Honestly it was how I lasted on it for so long because I didn't feel like I was on diet.

16:8 sounds like a great starting place remember to keep your water intake high as well it definitely helps during the 16 part. That is a great idea, glad I could help :)

OP posts:
Elakiya · 07/09/2020 12:56

@candycrush2298 omg it even has meal plans. That's amazing. Going to follow 16:8 until exams end and try to control portions then after I'm done with exams I'll do these meal plans because I can cook :)

candycrush2298 · 07/09/2020 12:48

@Elakiya no I didn't actually join, I just used recipe ideas I got from here:

www.slimmingeats.com/blog/slimming-world-recipes

And then created the recipes on myfitnesspal using the ingredients I actually bought and weighed my food. Didn't actually pay to join Slimming World though.

I also bought a Fitbit Aria scale that syncs to my app and linked myfitnesspal to my Fitbit app so all my food synced to Fitbit and I could see my weight going down along with the calories in / vs calories out.

I don't really have instagram. I made one to document my pcos journey but haven't really posted anything. I am a bit useless like that, also don't have facebook.

@candycrush2298 Unsure if we discussed this but when you mentioned you making slimming world recipes, did you actually join slimming world or just follow the recipes?

Welliedays · 07/09/2020 12:36

candycrush2298 · 07/09/2020 11:50

@Elakiya yeah well I logged spotting so the virtual assistant popped up with 9 possible reasons for spotting when not menstruating and we know most of them but saw the thyroid one and was like hmmm, that never crossed my mind before (mine just popped up because I forgot to edit my AF dates I am still spotting tody argh just want her to end already) might just be worth mentioning to your gynea as I am chatting with this American girl and she said she had to stop TTC to get her thyroid under control with meds and she had some other illness that needed her to be on BC for like 8 months and the month after stopping BC bam she conceived first time.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 07/09/2020 11:44

@candycrush2298 Yh I use the flo app. I am not sure I've been tested for thyroid but will check with my gynae after doing all his blood tests etc.

candycrush2298 · 07/09/2020 11:37

@Kaybobx awww you're also such a sweetypie!!

@Elakiya don't know if you have used the app Flo well when you log certiain things a dialogue box comes up and one of the things it says is spotting when you're not on your period could be due to multiple things but one thing stood out and it said thyroid issues.... have you ever had your thyroid checked??? Just thought I would mention it in case.

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 07/09/2020 11:16
