Hi,

As the title says really. I'm 10dpo (I think) and amazing having EWCM and positive OPKs.

So confused! Has anyone had this :(

I had one step OPKs that never showed positive and I was convinced that I was infertile.
You're at least ovulating!! So get baby dancing ASAP!

Thanks @zippityzip! I just don't know why it would be just that batch with the lines. Weird 😫

Really sorry @sneakpeek1414

If that's a dud batch then that's exceptionally shit. I'm so sorry you had that headfuck.

Steer away from that brand again and good luck with your TTC journey.

Morning everyone,

Just an update for anyone reading this at a later date in a similiar situation.

I got another IC off a freind, so a different batch. Did it this morning and it's completely negative!

I'm therefore summising that the first batch I had was faulty. Cruel but it is what it is Sad

That's makes me feel more positive, thanks @zippityzip I suppose I'll just have to wait and see!

You're not imagining it. We all saw it!

Try a FRER on Monday morning - even my first FRER was faint when my period was due and I had to wait for it to dry properly.

I literally had shadows of lines for what felt like forever, and then bang strong lines overnight. By which point I was like around 5/6 weeks.

sneakpeek1414 · 04/09/2020 07:25

@zippityzip I did it last night so it wasn't FMU no, it does say you can do it anytime of day though 🤷🏼‍♀️

Period is due Sunday/Monday I think.

Now I'm wondering whether I'm imagining the line on the IC Sad

OP posts:
zippityzip · 04/09/2020 07:12

What time did you do the FRER? Was it FMU?
And when is your period due?

sneakpeek1414 · 04/09/2020 06:37

I really don't know what's going on.

I've done another IC this morning and it's still an really really faint line.

Did a cheap OPK too and it's still got quite a strong line on it.

So confused, don't know whether I have a dodgy batch of internet cheapies, but then why would I be getting a line on the OPK if I ovulated 12 days ago? Sad

@sneakpeek1414 sorry that it's a bfn. Did you have a decent hold before you did the test? Is it possible your urine was too diluted?

sneakpeek1414 · 03/09/2020 17:45

Ok guys, got the FRER and it's quite clearly a BFN Sad I think these are supposed to be the most accurate ones so looks like I'm not pregnant!

Thanks everyone! What a godsend this forum is! Without it I would still have been peeing on the OPKs scratching my head 🤣

Looks promising! Good luck with the FRER!

zippityzip · 03/09/2020 07:34

I would say that's looking promising @sneakpeek1414 !!
My ICs only went dark dark when I was like 9 weeks. Even after my period was due they were still faint as hell.
The FRER will tell you the truth! I'm very excited!

mumof23188 · 03/09/2020 07:19

@sneakpeek1414 I can see that one clearly! IC don’t always give strong positives. It’s looking good for you. Looking forward to seeing your update with a FRER.

sneakpeek1414 · 03/09/2020 07:00

Just did another... it's still there but literally the faintest line know to man! What does that even mean 😫

Also the OPK has gone fainter again, I'm taking it this isn't a good sign 😓

@sneakpeek1414 I can definitely see it! Fingers crossed for you.

sneakpeek1414 · 03/09/2020 06:49

Pic attached - it's that faint the camera doesn't even pick it up 😫

I've ordered some First Response from Prime to get here today so hopefully should have the answer then!

Thanks guys

Fingers crossed for you!

zippityzip · 02/09/2020 20:43

Can you post a pic of the one step that you took? (I love line eye threads!)

Kay00 · 02/09/2020 20:06

I would say that considering your are only 10 DPO and you have got a faint line that tings are looking pretty positive! Good luck tomorrow!

sneakpeek1414 · 02/09/2020 18:10

Thanks everyone for their replies @Stabal I'm sorry to hear that 😢

I couldn't get to the shop in time but found a cheap One Step test in a drawer. Did it about 20 mins ago and I can see a very VERY faint line 🤷🏼‍♀️ as in so faint you have to squint to see it and hold up to the window!

Further, I've tried another cheapy OPK and although slightly fainter the line is still there!

SO confused. Am I ovulating or pregnant, who knows!

I suppose I will need to get a better test tommorrow and see 😔

zippityzip · 02/09/2020 13:39

@sneakpeek1414 The ONLY time my OPKS were ever positive is when I was pregnant. Good luck!

Stabal · 02/09/2020 12:56

@sneakpeek1414 it was the best surprise! I was waiting on AF coming to get an HSG test, we had just begun fertility appointments! Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage 2 weeks later but gave us some positivity that it can happen. Good luck and keep us updated! 🤞

sneakpeek1414 · 02/09/2020 12:52

@Stabal so it was a nice surprise brilliant Smile

Right ok thanks for the info I'm going to pick some tests up and keep everything crossed in the meantime!
