TTC after MC - Aug/Sept 2020 (Thread 12)

@HappyVibes @Northernsoul90 my last cycle was just 24 days and one before 27 so they seem to be much much shorter than before. I'm CD9 now and due to ovulate on CD13 going by last cycle. Feels like it's come round quick but the TWW will be a long ol one again I'm sure. I started using CB digis cd6 going by the instructions but think I'll just end up with 2 extra flashy days which is a waste 🙄 but if it confirms CD13 again for ovu for me, next cycle I'll give OPKs a miss.

So I caved this morning 9dpo and bfn. I know it’s early but I was hoping for a squinter or something. Really wanted to get my rainbow before my birthday at the end of this month 😢 x

@MichT4 thank you! I felt bad being so blunt (it’s very out of character for me!) but having got a Dr so willing to help and who had spent all his time making a plan for me meant I didn’t want to lose him! As the services are not going ahead where I am, he even helped are even doing some of the “leg work” ourselves, as they are giving me an at home screening test (apparently one of the ladies fertility checks is for std’s) to speed it up, my oh will drive to the lab near where he works to get his analysis down, as my local hospital are just not doing men’s fertility stuff, and the next local to me has a years waiting list. I bet a new Dr’s surgery wouldn’t be so proactive! xx

@Northernsoul90 I agree with taking a step back everyso often too! I love following everyone’s journey on here, but I try to catch up morn and eve now - as I found I was checking it a lot, and I am always sooo happy to see people’s bfp’s - and sad for those who get bfn’s - but after seeing so many people get their bfp’s and I’m still here - it sort of adds stress and worry that something might be wrong with me/oh. Then you read stress isn’t helpful when ttc so it becomes a never ending circle!

@Bl0ndi3 google is worst enemy yeah lol! yeah true maybe I will try and hold out till late next week, im probs gonna book in for an early scan once I'm 6 weeks anyway to hopefully put my mind at rest. I just dunno whether to be excited or worried at the mo 🤞I'm gonna keep busy for a few weeks i think keep my mind occupied. What do you think your due date will be?

@Dizzy201 I don't think you can ovulate too early can you? I'm sure you have nothing to worry about and at the very least don't worry until you have to - I'm trying to do that this time around too 🥰

If you wait a week you're more likely to see 3+ if you work on being 2 weeks since conception today although I reality you could be 2+6 since conception and get 3+ tomorrow haha but for the price of those tests it's not worth it xx.

@Bl0ndi3 yeah same though later is better in my case as I must have ovulated between cd8 and 13 and I'm worrying now was too early 🙃 I was due af today, dont know if I'd have the patience to wait another week haha, good luck with yours 🥰

@Dizzy201 I'm 11dpo today I think I'm due AF on Tuesday I know if I used one of the weeks ones today I'd be 1-2 so I might wait til Friday to use the first one!

@Bl0ndi3 I'm not sure as I stopped tracking and trying really, I was getting really down every AF. I've worked out though that I must be somewhere between 12 and 17 dpo. I bought 2 as well im going to do the other one in a few days to try and narrow the window down a bit 🙈 my cycle is short so just hope i haven't ovulated too early for it to stick. How many dpo are you today? We must be very close xx

Thanks, I am hopeful too but keeping it at arm's length so I don't get carried away. The boob soreness and tummy twinges for the past couple of days tell me that things are moving along at least, and healing from the mc. AF is due on 16th and I don't want to test till after that - maybe a bit of superstition because I didn't test last time till I was a week late? Also helps that I'm miles from the nearest shops 🙃

Like you I am quite invested in all the ladies' journeys now and come on mainly to read updates from everyone. Keeping things in perspective is so important though and I'm glad you're feeling better x

Every AF comes with some sadness that it's another cycle gone, but I'm so relieved! I foresaw it coming so booked my blood tests for Monday, so I feel like this month I'll get somewhere at least.

I've also decided to try and step back slightly because I need to get back to being me and not entirely a walking TTC machine 😂 but I am also very invested in some of the journeys so I am hanging about and I know I'll be popping up from time to time. This group has helped me so much so I'm sure it won't last long.
I just feel this next cycle will be an important one with hopefully lots of tests and advice and I just think I need to focus on that along with getting back into my own routine, I've lost a bit of that I think.

Sounds like you have a similarly relaxed plan, and you are almost at FW maybe so it's going nice and quickly!

@Northernsoul90 snap! I know I can't stop reading the chat, but it had become one of the first things I did and it was on my mind to check it a lot of the time. I started to feel under pressure when things weren't going the same for me, so I concluded I probably needed a re-jig to put the focus elsewhere. I still really want to know how everyone gets on 👀👀 so I'm still here and commenting, but just have to remember the other parts of me are still there

@BEESY90 so sorry you've been dealing with the bleeding, but so happy to see that scan picture. I hope the bleeding eases or you get an answer as to what is causing it.

Hey all after a few difficult months and ups and downs and various things. I'm TTC this month onwards. Hoping for that BFP and a rainbow soon. Will be following everyone's journey more actively now.

Sorry @Northernsoul90 just seen your message where you said you aren’t using OPK this month - ignore my initial message asking about if you’ve started CBD durrrrh silly me. I would love this month not to use OPK as I just feel like that’s what we need to do to get TTC out of the fore of everything. But I’m just mega conscious that I can’t really call my cycle these days post MC so I do need them for reassurance re my FW. Arrr show knows what’s best ha!

My papers from the gynae appt say not to have sex around FW only...so we are just taking a mega chilled approach from this month and getting back to our old selves again which feels lovely!

@chloedancer897 absolutely! Positivity is the way forward! It’s always good to keep hopeful and it will absolutely happen for us! I saw something that a friend on Facebook shared and I thought I would share it with the group that our ‘someday’ will come soon. I’m also moving jobs soon so hopefully that will take my mind off things too! I’m going to be doing the SMEP and OPKs so I’ll be a busy bee this month! Xx

Ladies, OH made his signature lamb biryani today and we opened up a bottle of red wine from our honey moon in South Africa 2years ago. No real reason for celebration other than my af is here and I’m onto the next cycle! Pic attached. Hope you’re all okay and can also enjoy little things - we deserve it! Xxx
