@Theawkwardblonde I did the same in January. I only just got my Instagram and Facebook back. It really got to me. Just know you’re not the only one and you’re allowed to feel the way you feel!! I’m not hopeful as the doctor told me on Monday that I’m not ovulating but there’s hope!! If you’re AF is due, get it out the way and look at next month as a fresh start, new page. Take it day by day xx

Theawkwardblonde · 17/09/2020 10:52

@Emc16x thanks for your response. I'm honestly overwhelmed how much support there is on here. I shouldn't be jealous but I'm just so frustrated with it all.
T minus 9 minutes till our update 😂😂 I actually cried a little over the thought of going back into a lockdown.
I'm just seeing so much being posted around lockdown babies-I've had to come off social media as it enrages me. I'm happy, but just keep thinking why can't we conceive?
Too early for a FRER-I don't test early now due to having two chemicals. I tested early both these times and got BFPs. It just adds more stress for me personally so I vow to only test if I'm late. I'll definitely be out. It's just normal pre period symptoms unfortunately. Fingers crossed for you 😊

Emc16x · 17/09/2020 10:36

@Theawkwardblonde I’m totally with you. When we first started trying, everybody seemed to announce pregnancy. I was even getting jealous of the celebrities and I don’t even know them. I’m still of the opinion that people don’t get pregnant by accident. It’s impossible!! It shouldn’t be common news but people don’t think. They don’t know what others are going through. Sorry you’re close to break down. Join me over here in tears! I’m also North East. So just waiting for the news!

Don’t give up just get, positive thoughts that your symptoms are early pregnancy symptoms. Can you take an early test? I’ve got terrible cramps and pelvic pain, which I do get with AF but I’m just hoping it’s not. I’m testing on Saturday morning with clear blue early detection! Xxx

Bizawit · 17/09/2020 10:21

I meant *cramps!! (not 'craps') Blush Blush Blush

Bizawit · 17/09/2020 09:49

Ahh sorry to hear AF came @Orlandoflorida1, but onwards and upwards to the next cycle!

I'm due today and have lots of craps and the usual AF symptoms so expecting her any minute. Baaa.

Orlandoflorida1 · 17/09/2020 09:46

Hi @Bizawit AF arrived early! On CD 4 now!

Theawkwardblonde · 17/09/2020 09:44

How are people doing? Nigh on break down with me this morning. Friend has announced her pregnancy news, turns out it was an accident (grr), and she is happily telling everyone it was an accident.
Also live in the North East so patiently waiting for the lockdown update for us today. It's anticipated no socialising with anyone outside of our household. I work in emergency services too so it's just more stress on top of TTC if we go into semi lockdown.
8DPO and I just know it's a negative. Standard pms signs etc.
Oh well 😞 sorry for the rant. Just feeling very fed up with things today.

Bizawit · 17/09/2020 09:27

@Orlandoflorida1 how are you getting on? Any sign of AF or BFP?

beckyBP · 17/09/2020 08:50

@bombata2 there wasn't but one of the names it was addressed to (their other child I assume) was our name if we have a girl x

bombata2 · 17/09/2020 06:12

Haha the is so strange. Was there the baby's name on it already?! 🙃☺️

MamaPheebz · 16/09/2020 22:59

@beckyBP that’s so bizarre!

Emmie12345 · 16/09/2020 22:21

@beckyBP OMG yes !!!!

beckyBP · 16/09/2020 21:03

So I know this sounds crazy but earlier I said to myself 'if only the universe could give me a sign to let me know if I was pregnant'
I just got home and there's an open 'congratulations on your baby boy' card on my hall stand. I said to my fiancé what's this and he was like a card that was sent to our address but obviously not for us.

Is that or is that not weird!!!!!

MamaPheebz · 16/09/2020 18:16

How is everyone today? I got my static smiley on my opk today. Yay! Is tomorrow 1dpo or the day after?

turtola · 16/09/2020 17:56

@AKC88 ha what are we like! @Theawkwardblonde @Emc16x frustrating how similar the symptoms are to normal cycle changes. Which are such a pig to go through each month, now I come to think of it!! Why is it us girls get such a raw deal!

@SugarPlumRoar hi! Very impressed by your memory! I guess once you're at the stage of tracking ovulation etc then you're def ready for it to happen RIGHT NOW! I know that's how I felt once I did more than just 'not preventing' pregnancy.

SugarPlumRoar · 16/09/2020 12:39

Hi can I join in? I'm 8 dpo (I think) I'm not doing BBT so can't be sure of course. We started trying last year but due to circumstances stopped earlier this year for a few months.

Last month I started using my CB advanced fertility monitor again but have been more not trying but not preventing.

This month we've dtd several times leading up to and following my peak days. Last month I was pretty relaxed and not trying to symptom spot but this month I feel very different.

My boobs are heavy and sore and I'm exhausted which were my first signs with my DD however I remember getting them much closer to 14DPO at the time although my memory could be off as that was 6 years ago.

I've got a selection box of tests but I'm trying to resist the urge especially this early

Emc16x · 16/09/2020 12:13

Me too @turtola @Theawkwardblonde!! I’m not too sure I ovulated this time around though. I get a lot of my symptoms before AF too. What are we like!! I’ve got terrible ovulation pain (could be period cramps), had a splitting headache for three days and boobs are changing shape?! EWCM again today....so I’m very confused. But keeping everything crossed for you guys! Baby dust

Theawkwardblonde · 16/09/2020 11:37

Me @turtola . I'm 7DPO and have the standard tender huge boobs and cramps. Had these with both chemicals, but have it with with periods too. Blooming nightmare 😂😂

AKC88 · 16/09/2020 10:48

Me @turtola!! Although I'm only 2 DPO . Trying not to think about it yet (I say while trawling Mumsnet when I should be working Grin)

turtola · 16/09/2020 09:34

I know it's way too early for anything concrete but can't help myself 🙈

turtola · 16/09/2020 09:28

Who else is on the 2ww and symptom spotting?! I'm 5dpo.... I swear my boobs are bigger - which also happened when I suspect I might've had a chemical but didn't test, couple of cycles ago... Probably wishful thinking Hmm

Theawkwardblonde · 14/09/2020 21:12

@Emc16x yeah I'm not a fan of needles either. That sucks you've got you wait till December. Here's hoping you get a BFP before then. I'm a tad nervous actually-it's starting to sink in that there may actually be something wrong with us 😳

Colacrisp · 14/09/2020 18:54

@WantABunInTheOven
I didn't get a positive till the day of my missed period even with using early response kits.

Wishing you lots of luck

Emc16x · 14/09/2020 18:07

@Theawkwardblonde I have been for three rounds of bloods. I hate needles as it is. My cycles are so irregular so I think they’ve been testing on the wrong days. Today I got a devastating call that they’re no longer going to blood test and want me to wait until December to be referred to the fertility clinic! I don’t want to wait!

Been getting ewcm, positive tests from clear blue ovulation tests so no idea what’s happening.

Fingers crossed for you that you don’t have to and you fall pregnant this time around!!

Thinking of your hubby. Mine is mortified too! Hahaha xxx

Theawkwardblonde · 14/09/2020 14:38

So 5DPO and already going mad 😂 on a positive note GP this morning is sending me for bloods and husband for sperm analysis. His reaction was hilarious when I told him 😂
Only thing is have to wait until next month for my bloods due to needing to test at peak ovulation. Fingers crossed we don't need that next month but not holding out much hope!

Anyone had the tests done via GP to check fertility?
