We started in July, but I had no ovulation / period for one whole cycle due to seven seas. So basically this was my first cycle with a real chance of ttc.

He was awake as none of us slept due to DsC being awake since 3am being naught and switching on lights on the house.

I showed him and at first he looked confused but then I got a big smile. We will get the pink FRER and try again tomorrow. We still don't believe it is real.

@stepmumSW5 yes I can see it, that’s soo exciting, have you done temp as well, just for my own curiosity.. have you woken partner up to share the news? I’m very happy for you.. test again in a day or so and should be even clearer

@Sip123 I've just tested. I'm shaking a bit as I can't believe it yet...

Can you guys see it or am I going crazy? I didn't sleep at all last night as my DSC woke up at 3:30 so I might be going mad...

@Nam095 pleased you are having a lovely time.. are you still doing bbt as that will give you a good indicator.

My temp has dipped again today.
Still higher than normal but dropped quite a bit so cave and did a test, on 9 dpo but did early detection one and surprise surprise bfn for this month it seems... will do one again Thursday but think it’s pretty unlikely .. raised my hopes slightly at my temp going up again yesterday, I tried not to!!

@stepmumSW5 are you testing again or not ?

@Sip123 yeah it’s good so far thank you ☺️ We’re at our holiday home near Bournemouth, it’s nice to get away after months being cooped up! I know exactly what you mean, my temp is still high but I’m not getting my hopes up either.

I’m still doing ovulation tests whilst I’m away so it’s kind of cheating in a way haha, this is my test today. I’ve seen other threads that ovulation tests can pick up hcg as well but like I said not getting my hopes up. The waiting is the hardest thing!

@Tofu35 I’m hoping my temp doesn’t dip again tomorrow will see.. it’s a rollercoaster.

Good morning! I couldn't wait until tomorrow. Tested today at 9dpo but can't see anything there.

Morning! Temp is playing silly buggers, a dip, then shot up, now it's going down again. As AF is due on Wednesday, I'll be relying on tomorrow to not be another lower day or my hopes will be dashed this cycle!

Had dinner with friends who were TTC when we started. They now have a lovely 3 month old baby. A little bittersweet but it happens to all of us at some point.

@Nam095 how’s the holiday.

My temp has sky rocketed today and my boobs woke me up itching. Had loads of cramps yesterday so who knows but am desperately trying not to build hopes up.. but first month that after a days dip it has gone that high.. but must not get hopes up.. I don’t know when to test part of me thinks af if fue next Friday if it doesn’t come test then but I doubt I will have the will power it’s only 8 or 9 dpo( apps are disagreeing) so quite early

Morning all! Feeling very tired today and also have sore boobs. My temp is still quite high as well, 9 dpo today. I haven’t brought any tests with me whilst I’m away so first time I can test is on Thursday at 13 dpo after I get back

@Sip123 how is your temp today and when do you plan on testing?

@RLou3 do you do your bbt aswell.. I have the Femometer app and I got solid smiley and peak on there tests one day and high temp the next day and Femometer says it takes temp as ovulation...

How’s everyone else doing, are any of you planning to test next week?

Hi ladies, I'm new to all of this.. I have the pink clear blue ovulation tests. From when I get the solid smiley face - when do I count days past ovulation from? Is it from the solid smiley? Or a couple of days past? I've read the pack but still not sure. Hoping one of you lovely ladies can advise?

Saturday morning google overdrive on what I can do to improve chances of pregnancy... I’ve done this so many times and don’t learn anything new but just feel I need to do something... stop stressing would be the best idea but easier said than done..
temp has risen again a little but not much which is what happened last time then faded off gradually until Period.. wondering if I can get bloody test from gp if bfn this time or if they will say it’s too early

@nam095 not yet but ask me again in 2 months and I'll be giving daily reports 😂 monitoring CM though.

@sip123 I definitely sympathise with feeling helpless as soon as my temp dips below the line. Especially if I've been googling things over the last week and cautiously getting excited.

In another thread one of the users spoke about a book they read about fertility ('it starts with the egg') and they found that was useful in feeling more in control. I'm thinking of getting it for my ereader, think it's about lifestyle things to do to improve quality of eggs.

@Nam095 I have never got in to cm or cervical position tbh.

My temp dipped today and I feel really down like it’s not going to happen and just feel a bit like I’m failing!

Does anyone check their cervix position after ovulation? Mine is really high and soft today but I assume that’s just normal for that to happen randomly 🙈 definitely thinking too much about this all 😩

I'm now 9 dpo I have the fermometer app, i might try the fertility friend app 🤔 mine is rather off 🙈 up and down!
