Right SMEP.. determined. Anyone else?

Hey all
I've been ttc for a long time, I had my lap and dye last week which removed all endo visible and unstuck my left ovary from my tube. My tubes are clear. The horrible bleeding that I had after is coming to an end. I'm very determined to try everything I can this month and the following months if I fail.
I have read about this SMEP and I've heard good things about it.
Today I am CD 5 so I am going to start dtd tonight instead of the recommendation of CD 8. I done an ovulation test today (just for fun) there's a second line but very much not positive so going to keep doing them twice a day until I get my surge. Also have some cb advance ones coming tomorrow.

My question is how many people have used this method and been successful on here? Would love to keep chatting to people through these next 6 months if possible as this is kind of the last hurdle before more fertility tests are taken for both me and my DP xx

Hey @Bbdm1984 still keep getting those stupid faint lines. Nothings progressing. I'm not testing again until Monday now. I hate the BFN at the end of it. Especially on the frers. I can cope with silly lines on the ICs but frer breaks my heart to see it white ☹️☹️ period due between now and Monday I think so we will see. How are you? X

So I done a IC again after a 2.5 hour hold. Another silly faint line. I mean this must be a bad batch. It's not getting anymore obvious at all. It's staying the same faint line. But it's coming up within the time frame. Think I should just count myself out. I have another frer but I'm afraid to dip it in my same urine I hate seeing stark white frers!!!

Think I'm going to be at the point of relaxing a bit soon and not looking too much into things. It's becoming obsessive and expensive ☹️ and very disheartening every single month x

Oh @1940s i know exactly how you feel dont lose hope though. My dp and i have bought a new car so we can have what was his main car as our family car (i currently have a corsa limited addition so very much not a family car more like a chavvy joyboy car haha) and have decided no more methods or opks or preseed just leave it to chance like we did this time last year when we got pregnant so i feel like a massive weight has been lifted and somehow feel less stressed even though i didnt realise i was. I did sneakily check when ovulation would be around for the next few months rhough but he is away working for the next 2 times so looks like hopefully next year will be our year.

I still have everything crossed that those still in the 2ww get their bfp's and i hope we can all stay in touch no matter what the outcome of this month xx

Two stark white BFN on two different ICs this morning. I'm so so fed up of waking up with quite strong pre menstrual symptoms and sitting bleary eyed on the loo waiting to read the BFN results. I'm not sure how many more months I can do this

Morning ladies. Haven't tested this morning. Fed up of squinting and looking at all different angles 😐 will leave it until later or the morning now. If I can 😂 working today so have no temptation. Very achy in my pelvic area, last month my period came cd27 but I think that was due to the lap and dye. I'm cd26 now, period should be due any time from 28-31 so I think if I was pregnant then something would have shown up clear by now. 11dpo I think. Hope everyone is okay xx

I don’t know if it’s a symptom but the only thing I had was a really gargley tummy. Even now I’m 6 weeks and I don’t have any symptoms. I’m just trying to not worry about it as it does concern me, but they could kick in at any time or I might just not get any and still have a healthy pregnancy 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Strange thing is I don't have any symptoms at all. Maybe a few cramps here and there and a bit tired but that could also be down to the kids being back at school and work being busy. My boobs aren't sore like they usually are after I have ovulated and my spots on my face are virtually the same as normal.
Did you have any before your BFP @Muda ? X

Haha it is. And these cheapies literally cost nothing but are very time consuming and sit there staring and comparing them. So sad isn't it!! Be easier if we all just knew like as soon as we dtd whether it was successful or not 😂 that would be amazing!!x

I do have two 😂😂 if anything later I will defo be resting with fmu too and then purchasing some more. Maybe even a digital for a weeks time. Do you see anything @Muda ?? Xx

If you can hold off/find the willpower until tomorrow morning I would wait and use your frer with your first wee of the day, it’s usually strongest.

This is my stupidly nearly invisible line from this afternoon with only an hour hold.. it's hardly there. I might wait and limit fluid and test again around 7-8 with an IC and a FRER 🤞🏻

LP is usually 12 days with the very rare 11/13 so expecting AF Friday or Saturday

10DPO today and I got my first BFP which was strong at 11DPO last time so I'd expect at least a squinter today!
