I'm still hanging on, (please do all let me know if you don't want up dates from me and my hopefully sticky bean as I know how upsetting it might be) I started bleeding on what should have been cd29 last time.. And today is cd29 and unless anything happens in the next hour, I've made it through.. So now any extra days is a step in the right direction in my eyes. Still haven't done a second test.

Symptom spotters can add vivid dreams every night, waking up earlier than usual, restless legs when you get into bed, feeling like your period is coming when it's not and heart palpitations to the list of things to look out for (maybe they aren't all symptoms, but they're definitely things that have been happening recently). Heart palpitations have been very annoying today, not going to lie!

@NamechangeTTC sorry missed the whole sentence that you also starting soy tonight good luck hope you have no side effects. So excited for all of us!! Hoping we all get our soy babies 🙏

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 22:59

@snapple21 so exciting!! Hoping you also have no side effects whilst taking them.

@NamechangeTTC yeah agnus castus and soy do the opposite so they counteract each other making it pointless so definitely think choose one or the other. I have read agnus castus is beneficial to those that have long or irregular cycles and it also makes your cycles more regular and period less painful but when taking for ttc purposes it must only be taken from cd1 until day before ovulation and then no more for the rest of the cycle.

Ugh that must have been brutal sorry hun x

NamechangeTTC · 21/08/2020 22:53

Cd3

120mg soy tonight.

Interesting shouldn’t take with Agnus castus. I’ve had so many recommendations on that.
Doing a part time masters. Today had to watch lots on the fertility industry. Found it really tough.

snapple21 · 21/08/2020 22:30

Yes af showed up last night @Kaybobx so I'm cd2 today. Gonna start taking the soy tomorrow!!
Has af showed for you? Sorry I took the little boy away for the night/day so haven't been reading!

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 20:23

@Boc86 hopefully its not that long but yeah if you can find something natural to use in the interim until you get that then definitely do it. If you want to try soy go for it cant do any harm lol.

OP posts:
Boc86 · 21/08/2020 20:19

@candycrush2298 yeah I’ve read that too about agnus castus I’ll definitely look at that
Thank you @Elakiya and yay for your apt!
@Welliedays ta I hope it’s not like into next year or anything 😭

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 19:31

@Kaybobx yeah thats definitely true.

Lol ugh men lol!!! Lets hope we can get it sorted I will try call them on Monday if I get a gap at work. Hopefully I do and can hear whats the story with them

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 21/08/2020 18:26

@candycrush2298 it was nice to know all is ok in there. Just bloody annoying it still doesn't work lol.

Yeah if Hubby called when he was supposed to have 'before lockdown' it would of been done by now!! 😒

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 18:18

@Kaybobx yeah its probably what it is which I know I do hahah I want to see them grow and how big they are and if its normal lol.
Thats soooo cool must have been awesome to see.

Lol totally always their fault!! Yeah think I am also just going to call because waiting on hubby to call is just painful. Dont think we are bad with covid either so surely there should be something happening

@Welliedays lol thanks lets hope so!! I really want to be good lol

OP posts:
Welliedays · 21/08/2020 18:14

@elakiya I don't know as I don't have any other siblings to compare my relationship against!

@boc86 that is so rubbish it has to the hospital, hopefully the referral will lbe quick

@candycrush2298 I like how you're now saying until at least 10dpo... I reckon you will defs hold out that long, if not longer ☺️

Kaybobx · 21/08/2020 18:13

@candycrush2298 oh really? I didn't read that bit. I had 4 scans over 4 days when i was ovulating. You could see my follicles growing each day. Maybe that one by you will just confirm you have ovulated or something. Strange.

Yeah always the mans fault hahaha! I'll try calling again on Monday as COVID isnt much of a thing around here anymore so i don't know why it would still be closed

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 18:06

@Kaybobx what confuses me though is that it says the scan is done in your second half of the phase like how will they my follicules doing it so late lol maybe I am being dumb hahahaah.

Yes that damn test for the men lol holding us all up hopefully not for too long

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 21/08/2020 17:56

@candycrush2298 thats a decent price. This is like the clinic i went to. Id definitely recommend doing it, they check if your follicles are getting big enough to release and egg, your lining thickness etc etc. So informative. Of course hubbys test is the one that will get us anywhere with fertility treatment. Still waiting on our clinic to open too so hopefully wont be much longer

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 17:46

@Kaybobx there is a clinic near me but I wanted one that would do both me and hubby but the one near me is just for me and it is affordable.

This is it for £125
abc4d.co.uk/fertility-test/

The one clinic I found for both hubby and I was expensive.

I just feel like hubbys test is more important than mine because his will get us to the referral to the fertility clinic

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 21/08/2020 17:37

@candycrush2298 are you sure they don't do follical tracking near you? There's lots of private clinics around here and its like £150 max but worth it.

@Elakiya ah thats fab you've got an appointment. Hopefully you do get some clomid!! Have you had scans before? Would they need to do more if so?

@boc86 get on Dr Google, I'm sure there's some substitutes similar to what they would give you.

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 17:27

@Elakiya do you think he will do any scans like when you close to ovulating to see the size of your follicles and make sure they are healthy? I would love that haha. Just to see how good they are.

I wonder what other tests he will do, maybe an HSG? To check your tubes?

Clomid would be fantastic but yeah only for next cycle. Hopefully he will do some other things this cycle to maybe give more insight.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 21/08/2020 17:19

@candycrush2298 It's midday on Wednesday. I'll keep you posted. Wonder if he's going to try and put me on Clomid or whether he'll do scans and tests etc. But clomid is exactly like soy with dates I think so I'll be a little late in my cycle to take it this time.

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 17:13

@Elakiya great when is your appointment next week? Yay!! Hahaha it is probably the hours.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 21/08/2020 16:51

@candycrush2298 Got my appointment. I have a male gynae. Funnily enough there are more male gynae's then female ones. I think its due to the hours they have to work. I am very excited now :)

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 16:22

@Elakiya hahaha I dont mind being the guinea pig lol!!!
And no with the two day peak yesterday was ovulation so 1dpo. CM has gone to creamy yesterday was watery.

I will let you all know when I test, 10dpo is the earliest but I want to try hold out longer if I can.

Yay that's great so they are open. Please keep us updated when you get an appointment and what she says.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 21/08/2020 16:02

@Boc86 Yh GP's can't really give much to be honest, they do need specialists in this case. Make sure they refer you to a specialist it can take about 3 months to get that letter through so you want them to do that asap. Whilst you wait, I think Soy is a brilliant idea, I know it doesn't help LP but like you said I think it might make the egg stronger and hopefully make it stick properly (how technical am I). Also sometimes it brings ovulation forward so it could lengthen your LP.

@candycrush2298 You've become our guinea pig we're all literally holding tight to watch what's going to happen (So are you 2 dpo today).

Gynae texted back so might get an appointment for next week.

candycrush2298 · 21/08/2020 15:17

@Boc86 so sorry your GP cannot prescribe it and it has to be the hospital. Hopefully it wont take too long. I have heard Agnus Castus (Vitex) helps lengthen luteal phases but should not be used with soy. And i am not sure how true it is but I have read loads of success stories with vitex. Maybe do some research and see if it is something that will help you. Xx

Boc86 · 21/08/2020 15:04

My gp won’t prescribe the progesterone I need 😭😭 needs to be the hospital
God knows how long the wait would be for that
I’m going to try soy I think next cycle
I’m cd8 or something now so obviously missed it this cycle
Not that it’s meant to help with progesterone and LP but maybe a stronger egg will help

Elakiya · 21/08/2020 14:40

@Welliedays I'd love twins :D Do you feel like the bond you share with your twin is stronger than what you'd have with other siblings?
