@MichT4 in general I don't feel pregnant at all, but I know I'm also trying to block it out and trying to protect myself incase the worse happens.
Fingers crossed for both of us xx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 18:43

@Rebecca1992 oh blinkin hell that sounds delightful! Where have you gone? How many weeks are you now?

She seemed impartial really. She was matter of fact and said she couldn't make a definite conclusion. When I asked if that's what she'd expect to see at 5 weeks she said yes. She said sometimes they don't expect positive tests til over 6 weeks, but that's what's still playing on my mind of course. I guess it's positive that she didn't seem to understand why I assumed it was a MC, but it's not like she was full of reassurance either. Think it's dangerous territory to be too positive though as a sonographer.

I feel ok though, am assuming I'll be hearing the familiar words of declining levels but I know I need to be hopeful xx

Rebecca1992 · 25/08/2020 18:34

@MichT4 Fingers & Toes crossed for Thursday for a rise!! Your being super positive, I can only imagine how stressed and worried you must be...I really hope its good news Thursday for you!!

I'm good, thank you! Enjoying a night away with OH before schools and routine are back in swing! I have a prenatal spa treatment in the morning so I'm so looking forward to that!!

How did your nurse/sonographer seem?? Positive?? I suppose its positive that she said a faint test at this stage can be normal.... also no AF is a plus! Although Thursday should give you a definite answer!

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 18:02

@Lollol86 yeah I suppose. Just think if I'd done one test and trusted the result, I'd be thinking all was ok now.
Just have to wait and see I guess. I had them today and then will have another on Thursday and that will show if hcg is rising or not.
I think they say nausea might not be every day, so don't worry. Or you might just be getting away with a symptom free pregnancy. That's another thing, I feel nothing pregnancy or AF related, pits aside of course 🙃

@Rebecca1992 thank you. Would be nice to have been more conclusive but nothing I can do now but wait for Thursday. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼

How are you?

Rebecca1992 · 25/08/2020 17:57

@MichT4 I'm so glad everything looks fine on the scan, fingers crossed your bloods show a healthy pregnancy progressing!! Best of luck ❤

Lollol86 · 25/08/2020 17:56

@MichT4 yes it's really strange, but then you probably would have tested as af would officially be late now.
Nausea has been fine today which makes me worry it wasn't pregnancy related but time will tell. I'm so exhausted though but just can't sleep as soon as I go to bed my mind becomes awake and thinks every single possible thought. Roll on 12 weeks 😂.
Did you have your bloods done today? Xx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 17:03

@Lollol86 it's funny isn't it. If I'd only done one test and seen a faint line and thought I was pg, I'd see that sac and think all was ok. But because of the lack of line progression I'm totally different. Obviously could end up not being a sticky one, but perhaps a lesson for next time to just stop testing! Easier said than done though.

How's your nausea today? xx

Northernsoul90 · 25/08/2020 16:51

@gizmo167 Welcome and sorry for your loss. You still aren't out until af arrives! 🤞🏼 xx

Lollol86 · 25/08/2020 16:43

@MichT4 I totally get you being anxious about it all, the only thing I would say it's obviously progressed as a sac has formed? Love your itchy pit 😂😂 xx

gizmo167 · 25/08/2020 16:41

Thanks for the welcome @susiebluebell and @MichT4 and fingers crossed for you hun, will be watching with excitement!

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 16:34

@2020wish well I just hope by some miracle I'm burrowing one of those slow hcg beans 😂

Sounds good having that extra support from someone so close to your dates

@Lollol86 yeah it was a bit but I'm still not really thinking of it as anything. Feel a bit numb to it all. I guess being here twice before just makes me a bit sceptical until those bloods are back.
Haha yeah it was (I say as I'm sat scratching my pit 😂😂). What a symptom!

Thanks @Runnergirl1 and @chloedancer897 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@gizmo167 welcome to the group and sorry for your loss. Sounds hopeful - don't count yourself out yet

xx

Lollol86 · 25/08/2020 16:29

@MichT4 I've just had a thought that your itchy armpit really was a symptom xx

chloedancer897 · 25/08/2020 15:50

@MichT4 that's great news! I'm sure you can't settle until the bloods are back but please take this as positive xo

susiebluebell · 25/08/2020 15:46

@gizmo167 That sounds exactly like when I fell pregnant - still very early days for you so maybe wait and test in a week? I know the waiting is torture!

gizmo167 · 25/08/2020 14:56

Wondering if I can join? Congrats on all the BFP's and hugs to those still waiting or experiencing MC's x

I had a mc at 5wk5d in January, cycles have been regular enough since, longest day 32 days, last 4 months been bang on 28 days, I'm CD30 today and nothing, I've had stretching feeling in my tummy to the point a couple nights ago I couldnt get comfy lying on my side, it went away yesterday and had sharp stabbing pains in my vagina last night, figured AF was arriving, only had one tiny bit of brown discharge and it was really really light! I would usually spot couple days before AF would arrive, I know I'm absolutely clutching at straws here but I just feel different, pains arent the same, I have PCOS so reckon my body is playing with me, AGAIN!

I did a IC yesterday afternoon and it was BFN, I'm not even sure I'm ov anyway to be honest, one thing really odd I've noticed since the MC is that I dont get sore boobs before AF, I always did, another indication I'm prob not even ov!

Runnergirl1 · 25/08/2020 14:04

@MichT4 wow have everything crossed for you. Good they seen something. Everything crossed for you x

Rainbowhope11 · 25/08/2020 13:43

@VP91x @Northernsoul90 thank you so much ladies! I do feel much better, much more positive and relaxed knowing that I have some kind of plan now.

@VP91x yes, the prometrium works the same as the Provera, but it's a natural progesterone instead of a synthetic one. So the new doctor is hoping that i respond better to it. I took my first one last night, and as far as I can see, no bad side effects! I will definitely let you know how the clomid goes. They said that once they do the baseline scan of my ovaries, they will give me the clomid. So I'm hoping that it all goes like planned. How are you doing lovely?

Xx

2020wish · 25/08/2020 13:38

Out of the blue not blood*

Lollol86 · 25/08/2020 13:34

@MichT4 oh wow I bet that was a shock, I have everything crossed for you xx

2020wish · 25/08/2020 13:34

@MichT4 well hopefully those bloods are increasing and I have read that some babies just take a bit longer at the beginning to double hcg for pregnancy test lines and then they catch up. Read loads on here. So no bleeding and sac on screen is all positive right now.

I’m good. Just counting down to my 9 week scan on thursday. My cousin rang me out of the blood last night wanting to give me a heads up and my place to know first that she’s pregnant before she announced it and obvs didn’t want to upset me given my history, I was really appreciative of that but ended up telling her I’m also pregnant and we aren’t that far apart so she was over the moon and now I have someone to share worries with which is nice. Other than that, all very boring

Firevie · 25/08/2020 13:28

@MrsK21 ah very interesting. I think because on shorter cycles I have ovulated on cd17, I decided to just get a head start. But I may actually stick to only testing once a day until I’m closer as it’s stressing me out. Think will stick with cheapies as they were bang on last cycle xxx

MrsK21 · 25/08/2020 13:18

@Firevie ah ok so you're still a fair few days off predicted ovulation day, it'll likely stay low till a couple of days before. I ovulated CD13 and until CD11 I had absolute nada showing on my OPKs, the readings were things like 2% / 3% so I felt the same. Will you do CB digis alongside or sticking to the cheapies? X

Firevie · 25/08/2020 13:14

@MichT4 aw thanks hun yes I think it must be down to drink and how long I haven’t peed. Ugh so sensitive. Aso really pleased to hear about you hun! Silver lining perhaps? I’m pleased you got in today and will have bloods done!
@MrsK21 thanks hun. Yes you’re right so sensitive! I actually think I only held it in for two hours and had something to drink two hours before. I think my readings are better if it’s four hours! I’m on cd14. I’ve had long cycles pre MMC so not sure what to expect yet but my Fitbit app which is usually quite accurate has me down for ovulation on 8sept so that would be cd28. I still think that’s too long so I will keep testing and hopefully get a peak next week xxx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 13:04

@2020wish they won't rescan me unless the bloods are going as they think. If they are increasing then in 2 weeks.

How are you?

Thank you @MrsK21 xx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 13:03

@2020wish @Pugprincess @HappyVibes @Northernsoul90 @susiebluebell thank you.

It feels weird because I'm still expecting the same end result. But I do feel better to know I'm not going mad! My sister text this morning asking if I'm sure I was pregnant again - nice - she saw the line and said a faint line is a line! Anyway, it was nice to know I'm not imagining them as @Pugprincess said.

I have to go back for the next one on Thursday and they'll call me Thursday pm. It was nice to have a scan when bleeding wasn't involved at least!

@HappyVibes I was pleasantly surprised. Even on my last MC scan I couldn't see a sac as clearly, so it was good to see something. I've seen that before though and it not ending well so as I said, no expectations!

@Northernsoul90 @susiebluebell she wasn't either really. She said she couldn't conclude if it's viable based on the scan, which is why they did the bloods. The only positive thing is that she questioned why I thought it was a MC, so it made me think it's obviously not clear cut for her at all. I think they are generally good at not giving anything away unless they know for sure.

She remembered me from my last scan, and knew this was my third pregnancy and I'd had the 2. So she said that if the bloods weren't good then they would take another course of action, so I feel like they are ready to act on the blood results either way

@Firevie don't worry about the reading. It'll be so sensitive on how much you've had to drink, how long you've held for. Keep with it, you'll see your peak xx
