TTC after MC - August 2020 (Thread 11)

Well I had another blank circle this morning but I did also check the stick and there was a very faint line on the left when all previous days there was nothing there so fingers crossed my OD is coming soon! xx

I think I'm out this cycle I'm 12dpo CD26 of a (usually 28 day cycle) and I'm having a temp dip - my ovulation was around CD14 (Ava was out this month as I was up and down with the pup so didn't get a solid sleep at that time). I've had a good sob about it but pulling myself together and thinking of AF arriving at the weekend as a another fresh start.

@stellarfox sorry that you’ve found yourself lovely. Hopefully this thread will be helpful for you emotionally & physically with all the support and tips from everyone.

Everybody is different but you can ovulate as early as 2 weeks after MC (before your first AF). Personally, I ovulated CD22 after my MMC. Then I got my AF CD27. Since then, my. Cycles have been a little longer than usual & I have ovulated quite a bit later than I previously did. It seems this is quite normal.

Hope this helps reassure you that the FW comes around pretty quick after MC ordinarily.

@VP91x really recommend the PCOS Diva podcast, really informative. I took inositol when trying to conceive my first and went on a low carb diet and it helped.

I’ve just had my first early mc so I’ll be joining the next bus. Hope not to see many of you there! Can I ask how soon after a mc does your cycle go back to normal and you start ovulating again?

@MichT4 I'm throwing everything at it now (I'm sure you can tell!) if it works it's money well spent and then we can pass them on to others in need x

@MichT4 no I haven't tried temping at all. I'm just too lazy! Lol that's why I thought the Ava would be good. I don't have to get up 😂

I'm sure you'll see it on your instructions but just remember to charge it every day. It's nice to have the work done for you. Have you done oral temps before? I wish I had done both alongside each other to see if the trend was the same, but I'd never used them before. I know skin temps are lower but would have been good to see if they were consistent xx

@VP91x that's great news. I'm sure they can find a way to get round that rule. Will that be the equivalent of the appointment you have in October? Fingers crossed you can get the prescription you need soon. I'm sure it will all fall into place then xx

@VP91x I really can't give you any recommendations around this lovely as I don't really know much about it. Just wanted to say I am thinking of you and really hoping they can prescribe you something. Positives to take away, af has arrived so onto a new cycle and you now know more about your body. Knowledge is power xx

@VP91x you have a double whammy positive today of what you’ve been hoping for - AF so that you can restart on the next cycle, & answers to help direct you going forward.

I know it’s not the best news, but one major positive is that you now know so you can now progress forward. I’m so hopeful for you lovely!

My friend has PCOS & low level progesterone and she has 1 DC, & is now 4 month pregnant too. Her story is hopeful inspiring and hopeful for you. She took clomid for her first pg. For her current pg she took inositol but no clomid (she was gunna go for clomid If it took a little longer).

We can get clomid if you did want some lovely, but I would suggest doing a bit of research to make sure you’re making an informed decision.
