@MichT4 I'm so sorry you have to go through this again. Did they have any answers as to why you got faint lines but it still progresses enough to form a sac?
I'm so angry that the nhs can treat you like that, why should you have to go through this 3 times and then wait to see someone, like @Firevie prevention should be more important.
I don't understand why they sent you away to come back for more tests today when it was showing as negative, why allow you to have some hope when they knew it wouldn't progress any further xx

2020wish · 27/08/2020 12:32

@MichT4 I’m so sorry to hear this update :( you have such strength. It’s crap we have to go through 3 losses to get any answers. Ask ur doctor to do the basic blood tests (full blood picture, coag, ESR, thyroid, bone profile, LFT, autoimmune screen and antiphospolipid test)

They can do all these blood tests no bother.

If it’s worth anything as you know I’ve had 3 losses and here I am progressing with this bean so it can and will happen. Don’t get up hope.

For those with pcos I thought I’d share some good news to help give u light. My friend just rang me telling me she was pregnant naturally on her own. She had two previous kids that took clomid and years of trying to get so she had her fertility appointment this year to get started on more clomid and check her ovaries and it was all cancelled due to covid. So she’s in complete disbelief this has happen and it shows it’s possible and can happen for u all! Please stay hopeful and loads of BFP dust ur way!!

Firevie · 27/08/2020 12:25

@MichT4 totally with you on that. See what the GP says and be firm with him. And as ever, let me know if you ever want details of my doctor in London.
Sending you lots of hugs xxx

gizmo167 · 27/08/2020 12:19

@MichT4 I'm so sorry hun, just be heartbreaking, even if you had a guy feeling we always hang on to that glimmer of hope don't we! Sending massive hugs & sticky baby dust xxx

Not much to update here, cd32 still no signs of af arriving, have that stretching pulling feeling in my tummy today again & the nausea and keep feeling like af is coming as it feels wet down there but when I check its not, cm hasn't even a touch of any colour, so blinking confusing!

MichT4 · 27/08/2020 12:18

Thanks @chloedancer897 @Firevie 🥰🥰

@Firevie couldn't agree more. You shouldn't have to go through such heartache to be given some support and help. It's really infuriating.

I just don't know what to do next but hopefully the GP will guide me. I feel like I should book some private tests anyway, but I need to be careful how far I go with the GP if I want to use my medical. I'll be quite upfront with him about that today

Firevie · 27/08/2020 12:11

@MichT4 I’m so sorry to read your update! It makes me so angry reading about the NHS and apologies don’t mean to offend anyone but having been brought up in a country where the medical system is second to none I’m honestly appalled every time I see and hear things about the NHS. It seems their whole premise is one of let the bad things happen before you do anything about it. Premise in Austria is prevention so you don’t even get to the worst case scenario. It really seems in the UK that if you have the financial means you can get better care which is absolutely infuriating. I’m sorry for the rant which obv doesn’t help you. I do agree that if you can go private then look into it. Happy to send you the details of my private doctor in London if it helps! Sending you lots of. Ritual hugs! Don’t give up! Give yourself time to grief but then get back onto the positive side of things. It will happen but just in its own time! Xxx

chloedancer897 · 27/08/2020 12:07

@MichT4 I'm sure it's hard to remain hopeful given everything that's happening. Give yourself time to heal from this and I know you can pick yourself back up. We have all benefitted from your positivity and ability to see the good in everything. My husband got me a necklace last month with a pearl on it with a card saying not grit, no pearl', basically it means that we need to work hard, we need to push through adversity to get to the pearl that we need. It will all be worth it in the end, I promise xo

MichT4 · 27/08/2020 11:56

Thanks @chloedancer897. I was expecting it but the glimmers of hope I had have been dashed. I do feel a little sad really. I'll be ok, it's another knock, hopefully my last. I just wonder how much more I can deal with. It's consuming me and all excitement of having a baby is dwindling away

chloedancer897 · 27/08/2020 11:53

@MichT4 I'm so so sorry. I really hope you get some proper answers soon and a quick referral. I do recommend going privately if you can because sometimes it takes ages and once the ball is rolling you will just want answers. Sending you love today, I'm so sorry xoxo

MichT4 · 27/08/2020 11:50

@chloedancer897 they didn't need to check the levels because the levels on Tuesday were below the pregnancy level. So she thinks I've had a complete miscarriage.
I'm not entirely sure what any of it means but I'll just crack on and get the referral and keep trying and hoping in the meantime

chloedancer897 · 27/08/2020 11:48

@MichT4 what does that mean?

MichT4 · 27/08/2020 11:33

Haha I hope so @Firevie

Although not this time sadly - my results from the other day were negative anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️. Not sure why she couldn't have called to tell me that. So I have to call and be referred to RMC now, but if the wait is too long I'll probs go private. I'm just worried I haven't had AF. She said I might not bleed and could catch again but not sure that's a great idea. She said that sac will come away with my next bleed.
I actually feel really teary, I feel like I'm losing all hope. She said the UK done prescribe progesterone as a matter of course because there's not enough evidence. She said they prescribe it after investigations sometimes as a 'let's see'. I think it's terrible they won't try things until you've been through it.

Anyway, not a surprise result, but still very sad xx

chloedancer897 · 27/08/2020 11:27

@gizmo167 how are you?x

@Northernsoul90 I'm really enjoying it. It's definitely giving me more accurate fertile windows than the OPKs alone so I'm hoping I will have a better idea of when to DTD in the future

Firevie · 27/08/2020 11:27

@Northernsoul90 lol at progesterone being gold dust - certainly seems that way from what I’m reading here. I’ve had one MMC (first and last hopefully) so not sure if it’s because of that but perhaps just increasing chances next time it will stick at the off chance that my body produces a bit less of it. We haven’t done blood tests so don’t know for sure but yes my doc at here in Vienna already told me over the phone when I had my MMC That she would prescribe it to ensure it sticks. And my doc in London said he is prescribing it just in case my body doesn’t produce enough as that may be the case considering I have longer cycles. Hope this makes sense xxx

Northernsoul90 · 27/08/2020 11:24

@gizmo167 How are you today? This group really is a godsend and has helped me so much in healing from mc and moving on to ttc xx

Northernsoul90 · 27/08/2020 11:23

@chloedancer897 You've definitely ovulated from the chart!! Lovely temp rise. Ahh I forgot you got the Ava... are you finding it useful then? Xx

@Firevie Sounds fantastic and really good that everything's healthy... it looks like ovu will be at the perfect time for you! Has she prescribed the progesterone due to previous miscarriages? It seems like gold dust to get prescribed on the NHS 🤣 xx

gizmo167 · 27/08/2020 11:23

Been reading up since yesterday & you ladies really are an inspiration, I hope you all have your bfp's and happy healthy little ones in no time! Thank you for allowing me here xxx

Firevie · 27/08/2020 11:03

@MichT4 lol 😂😂 You won’t need it! You will have your rainbow baby even without the progesterone - once we all have our rainbow babies we should organise a meet up. Would be lovely to meet you ladies. Xxx

MichT4 · 27/08/2020 10:56

Oh my god you're so lucky @Firevie
Can you get me some?? 😂 xx

Firevie · 27/08/2020 10:46

@MichT4 yes she did. My doctor in London also prescribed progesterone but said to take it as soon as I get my BFP. So I have his prescription already but my doctor here said I should already take it once I ovulate next week as it will help implant. So I’ve taken a prescription from her also because I had read/heard how difficult it is to get over NHS and if I went back to my private doctor in England he would prescribe it but then I’d first have to pay £300 for consultation so I just got it from my doctor here. Xxx

MichT4 · 27/08/2020 10:42

@chloedancer897 oh sorry, ovulated 2 days ago! Lovely temp rise.

Thank you @Firevie. Your appointment sounds fabulous. Did she prescribe you progesterone then? I'd like to take it but it seems impossible to get hold of! xx

chloedancer897 · 27/08/2020 10:39

Here is my chart. Massive temp rise? Dunno. But I'll know better in this TWW. At least the temping is keeping me occupied 😂

TTC after MC - August 2020 (Thread 11)
Firevie · 27/08/2020 10:34

@MichT4 thank you! And I just think the way you’re handling all of this is great and balanced.
@Northernsoul90 thanks so much for the commandments. I have taken a screen shot and will read every day
Ladies, just been to my home OBGYN - she’s the best. I have been with her for over 20years. I see her twice every year when I come home so trust her completely. She did the smear test as usual and ultrasound. She said all is looking great, ovaries etc. She saw the follicle that is maturing. She said it’s probably a week or so until I ovulate. So she said I should be fine for when I’m back home next Tuesday. She also said I should start taking progesterone as soon as I’ve ovulated for two weeks, then test on 14dpo. So I’m going with that I think. She said you only take progesterone for the TWW and when pregnant continue. Xxx

Lollol86 · 27/08/2020 10:30

@MichT4 yes they are back open, the one I’m at they have reduced the capacity to 30% but there’s on 14 people here including us. I’m definitely relaxing, been sat here on my own for the last hour whilst the girls play, heavenly 😂 xx

MichT4 · 27/08/2020 10:26

@chloedancer897 thank you ☺️
Sounds to me with that temp rise that you did ovulate yesterday. How lovely to see such strong data a few days into your Ava!

@Lollol86 yeah it is hard to allow yourself to let go of the anxiety. Let's hope I just have wee tests hate and that everything is ok 😂

Soft play? I thought they weren't going to reopen. Hope you're managing to relax and don't have too much of a headache 🤕 xx
