@VP91x sorry I hit send too quickly. So from my chart I think hopefully I ovulated CD13 and this morning got a slight increase that'll hopefully carry on. But looking forward to your insight too xxx

MrsK21 · 24/08/2020 22:18

Welcome @Jadem83 @LAcain
You'll find lots of support here 💞

@LAcain it took 11 weeks for my cycle to come back but since then it seems to have sorted itself and ovulated at the right time

@VP91x you're right and I know I don't feel happy about going now and that's unlikely to change in the next 2 weeks. If I get a BFP in that time, I'd be too anxious as well.
Attached my chart - first half is crazy high with the heatwave I think and then seems to have settled into normal temps. I've disregarded a temp from couple of days ago as well as I had an awful nights sleep and kept waking up

@HappyVibes no worries! Fingers crossed for you this cycle hun, I'm sure you're well covered 😜

@Runnergirl1 just a small glass a day, bottle lasts about 3-4 glasses. It is expensive but raved about 🍷🍷

@Northernsoul90 Fertility Friend/Femometer normally put in a cover line about 3 days after your temp rise when they can be sure you've had a sustained rise to confirm Ov. Bit of a wait, but you can normally see a trend develop before having it confirmed xx

@MrsK21 I think definitely if you aren't comfortable and you don't want to go then you shouldn't. Sometimes we get guilt-tripped into doing things we don't want or enjoy and ultimately it isn't fair to ourselves. Put yourself first in this situation ❤️. Have you got a pic of your chart? Xx

@Rainbowhope11 hey ☺️ glad you are okay!! That sounds like a brilliant plan. So happy for you that they have this all in place for you now. Does the prometrium work the same as Provera? Have you started taking it? Please let me know how you get on with the clomid! Xx

@Jadem83 welcome and I am so sorry you have been through so much! You sound like an incredibly strong person. It definitely takes a long time to rebuild after a loss. I hope you get lots of support here everyone is wonderful 💕

@MichT4 will be thinking of you tomorrow morning xxx

@MichT4 Best of luck tomorrow! 🤞❤

Northernsoul90 · 24/08/2020 20:35

@Rainbowhope11 That all sounds really positive in terms of a great plan moving forward! Sounds really hopeful ☺️ I'm happy that you have some answers and some next steps! Xx

@Jadem83 Hello, welcome 💖 I'm really sorry for the loss of your twins. Sending lots of luck and baby dust you way! Xx

@LAcain After my mmc at 8 weeks I didn't get a period for 8.5/9 weeks... I got my first negative hpt 6 weeks after mc and then ovulated a few days after that. Af arrived at 14dpo. This is now my first 'proper' cycle since the mc and it seems to have just reverted back to my old pattern as I've ovulated on cd19 which is the norm for me. I know it's not very helpful but I think it's just an individual thing and can depend on hormone levels, how far along you were at mc etc xx

MichT4 · 24/08/2020 19:51

@LAcain re cycles, mine got slightly longer I think after my first MC. But I wasn't tracking ovulation before, and only the one cycle after so I've no real idea what was going on. I think they can be a little off at first but eventually should come back to how they were before, just varies as to how long it might take.
Some of the others might have better explanations on this xx

MichT4 · 24/08/2020 19:45

@LAcain I'm honestly not expecting miraculous news. I'm fairly certain they'll conclude I've miscarried again, and I feel ok about that. I'm ready to hear it, it's more just wanting to see what's happening in there and why I've not bled yet. Or why I'm getting faint lines still. Just so want to get the call rolling in trying to sort this all out (really hopefully!) so I'm feeling positive about it.

I know what you mean though. When it's for real I think I'll feel sick every time. The experience is certainly tainted for me but I hope when it happens I can find the excitement again. I'm sure you will too xx

Pugprincess · 24/08/2020 19:40

@MrsK21 yes it’s not that you aren’t happy for her it’s just anything baby related can be too painful. Right after my MC I noticed how many baby adverts there are on tv! Or accidentally passing the baby clothes aisle in a shop etc. It would be like purposely rubbing salt in a wound. Totally get it and if I was your cousin I would understand xx

@Jadem83 welcome to the thread and sorry to read about your losses. You will find a lot of support here. Xx

LAcain · 24/08/2020 19:40

@MichT4 how are you feeling about the scan? I’m nowhere near having one but feel so much fear and anxiety at the thought after what happened last time.

@Jadem83 so sorry for your loss.

How long did it take you all to regulate AF post MMC? My cycle has been longer and ovulation later and I’m wondering what it’ll mean for next month (first full cycle post MMC).

MrsK21 · 24/08/2020 19:31

@HE88 @Northernsoul90 @MichT4 @HappyVibes thanks ladies, I know you'd understand.
If there were all people I knew there I would've gone but as there will be some strangers I think I'll give it a miss. My cousin knows about my MC so I'll tell her I will see her another time and share the gift then. But it's a bit too soon for me right now to attend

@Northernsoul90 ah ok I didn't realise a slow rise can be normal too. Hopefully it continues on that upwards trend 🤞🏽 x

MichT4 · 24/08/2020 19:20

@HappyVibes I'm strangely excited about it. I'm a little concerned about what they might find at the RMC but then I'm also aware it could be a quick fix and that if it was, it would be so good to know.

Obviously it might not be but we will cross that bridge if we come to it.

I'm just so happy they are seeing me quickly and I hope this pace continues on!

OH is a bit neither here nor there. He's impressed with how they've been, and I think happy we get to find out, but I think he distanced himself emotionally (I think we both have to a point) as we keep getting our hopes up. So he's quite calm. I actually feel bad that he's having to go through this. He's a bit younger than me and I keep thinking he mustn't have expected such a hard time!

How are you doing? Your positivity is infectious by the way, I love it! xx

HappyVibes · 24/08/2020 19:05

@MichT4 I completely forgot I hadn’t messaged you in response to your update! Sorry I was walking at the time I read them.

How are you feeling about tomorrow? It sounds like you’re in good hands with the support & quick response of everything since you’ve contacted them. How’s your OH?

Xxx

Jadem83 · 24/08/2020 19:03

@HappyVibes @MichT4 thank you . It took us just over a year of trying to conceive the twins although I use the term trying loosely as it was very much if it’s meant to be it will be and there was no tracking involved Just dtd as and when we felt like it . This time I am much more aware of my cycles and have just purchased a clear blue ovulation kit as a starting point x

MichT4 · 24/08/2020 18:36

Hi @Jadem83 welcome to the group and I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your twins. And for the loss of your late husband also.
I imagine your lovely brood keep you nice and busy! Sounds like you're a super strong Mum to me!
You've given your body and your mind a nice break and I really hope it doesn't take long for you. How long did it take you to conceive your twins? Are you tracking at all? xx

HappyVibes · 24/08/2020 18:36

@Jadem83 bless you lovely. For it to have knocked the wind out of you is completely normal & the process of healing & getting back on the journey is a whole whirlwind of emotions. CD1 - very exciting. Sending you lots of positive vibes. 💫 xx

Jadem83 · 24/08/2020 18:32

Hi ladies I hope you won’t mind if I hop on and join you all . To give a little background I’m currently 36 years young and juggling daily life as a full time mum/ part time primary school teacher living in Scotland. Today marks cycle day 1 of our 1st cycle ttc after a mmc of twins at 12 weeks which happened the end of April . I’m truly blessed already to be mum to 3 dd’s and a ds which i conceived with ease with my late husband but am now in a new marriage and this would be my husbands first child. The miscarriage really knocked the wind out of my sail and it’s taken me a little while to pick myself back up both mentally and physically but I now feel ready to give it my best shot again ( whilst acutely aware of my ticking biological clock ) . I’m so very sorry that we all find ourselves needing a thread like this but also hope to find some comfort and reassurance in sharing the journey with others who understand . Picking up some helpful hints and tips already having read back a few threads this afternoon and wishing everyone a beautiful rainbow 🌈

HappyVibes · 24/08/2020 18:26

@Firevie it sounds like they’re definitely on the right track for that. When are you back with the OH? Fingers crossed it all aligns for you - definitely sounds like the nice gradual increase is going that way for you xx

Firevie · 24/08/2020 18:24

@Northernsoul90 thank you! Yes can get very intense. I’ve just done my second OPKS and it came out at 0.3 which is still low but more than 0.23 which was the score at midday today. So it’s progressing slowly which is fine by me as long as I see that peak when I am with OH next week xxx

HappyVibes · 24/08/2020 17:59

Absolutely @HE88 and through this journey that’s what we need to do is look after ourselves & if you know it doesn’t feel right and will not be healthy for you, then absolutely you should do whatever is best for you. Xxx

HE88 · 24/08/2020 17:56

@MichT4 thank you 😊 I hope you get some answers at your scan tomorrow. Xx

@happyvibes I get what you are saying and I am really happy for them. It is so close to my due date so I'm just feeling extra sensitive so want to avoid any possible triggers. Xx

HappyVibes · 24/08/2020 17:48

Ah it is difficult about other people’s pregnancies so soon after MC @MrsK21 @HE88 But I’ve found that as I’ve got emotionally stronger, I do truly believe that celebrating other people’s successes & being genuinely happy for them as truly helped my healing. I genuinely think that people around me being pregnant (5 EXTREMELY close friends/relatives) is a sign that babies & pregnancies are around us because it’s coming to us soon.

One of my very close friends was just 1 week behind us due date wise. They had an easy gender scan just 4 weeks after our MC and had a gender reveal. We went to it, and although it was hard the thought of it, I genuinely think it helped. & I also didn’t want to not celebrate the amazing journey for them too in their special moment.

It’s really a tough situation to be in & I know that everybody responds differently and there really is no right or wrong. But I just thought I would share that those things, although hard, have actually helped us celebrating them (buying them gifts at 12weeks, checking in real their scans, going to gender reveals) and being happy for them.

You will soon be having your gender reveal / baby shower and everyone will be celebrating with you girl. You WILL get that experience, it is absolutely coming. You will be on cloud nine and in a little bubble of love and joy very very soon xxxxxxx

MichT4 · 24/08/2020 17:47

@MrsK21 I forgot to reply about the shower. I absolutely wouldn't go if you don't feel up to it. It'll look worse if you go and aren't all excited and joyous, and it's totally understandable that you won't be! I'd be making my excuses and staying away. I think even if my sister has one I would massively struggle. Look after yourself and your heart 🥰

@HE88 so great to see you've made progress. It so reassuring knowing you're in the process and being listened to and looked after xx

HE88 · 24/08/2020 17:37

@MrsK21 just saw your post about the baby shower. It's my sister in laws baby shower on Sunday coming and I've told her I'm not going. I've been holding off and holding off but the more I think about it I get more anxious so I'm not going I'm just not willing to put myself through it all. Do what's best for you I think the less stress the better. Xx

Pugprincess · 24/08/2020 17:22

@MichT4 it was good thank you 🙂 jumped in shower as soon as I got in and in my pjs on sofa with a blanket now 😁 I was just laminating resources this afternoon so nice and easy. Xx

MichT4 · 24/08/2020 17:14

@Pugprincess thank you. How was the first day back?

@Rainbowhope11 that sounds fab! I love the sound of the trigger shot. Sounds like a pinball machine for your ovary 😂😂

I feel knackered after that Monday! We are trying to be better but I just saw proper chippie chips on Instagram and I really want some 😫 xx
