@LeopardLover we haven’t told anyone either except my best friend and I’m actually finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone but at the same time I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to tell everyone about the chemicals because I’d have found it too hard to talk about to loads of people

@Tigger1987 Ah, AGREE. We shouldn't wish our lives away but the waiting sucks! Hopefully no AF for you and the migraine was an early pregnancy sign X

@whambam89 I understand why you'd feel deflated but your symptoms all point to a BFP!! Crossing my fingers for you. 😊 It's due today but I think I was three days late last month! I'm expecting it overnight.

@Boc86 Yeah, it sucks! We haven't told anyone we're TTC and I'm really glad because I think we'd get questions etc when I'd rather just be disappointed as a pair haha.

I have a really sore throat today which is great in this heat and suffered with a migraine (just the aura luckily) which I haven't had in a few years. What a fun day!! I am hoping it rains here soon as it keeps promising to thunder and then doesn't!!

@whambam89 Like you said, take your own advice. Strip tests can take a while to show a positive especially with evening urine.

@LeopardLover @Boc86 Glad to hear AF has stayed away. I am due tomorrow too but also have cramps. I always wish I could fast forward these couple of days of the 2WW.

@MrsB2019x I was in 2 minds as to whether to test again today and now I'm regretting testing because it's made me go from being really hopefully to just feeling really rubbish!

@LeopardLover I know I need to take my own advice sometimes but I just feel like it should be picking up something still, surely? When I was pregnant with DD I tested about 7pm the day AF was due and got a strong positive (although I suppose my LP could have been longer than so potentially could have been more dpo) Guess I'll wait and see what tomorrow morning brings.. just feeling a bit deflated!

I've taken a strip test this afternoon and it's BFN so wondering if this morning was a false positive 😭 no sign of AF yet though and I do feel like I've been hit by a tonne of bricks this afternoon.. went to get DD up from her nap and ended up falling asleep 🙈 so who knows what's going on!

I just feel positive AF is on the way @LeopardLover 😢😢 obv hope I wrong but you know how you feel before AF it’s just like that x

I don't think I'm going to bother getting a FRER, I've picked up another pack of the test I used this morning so hopefully will see a darker line in the next few days. Just feel like it's a bit of a waste of £10 when if it's a line then it's a line anyway if you know what I mean!

I'm actually going to the EPU tomorrow to have a scan. My fever has ramped up a gear and so doctors suggest checking there's no retained tissue from the chemical. Tbh I hope that is the issue because then at least they'll treat it and I will stop feeling so shit!

@89Ann Welcome!! 😊 It's totally natural to feel worried, this is my 3rd cycle too (probably soon to be 4th) but of course thoughts creep in!! I think it's important to try and enjoy TTC and not put too much pressure on it all (easier said than done). That surgeon wouldn't have told you that if it wasn't true. We're here for you!

I have been lurking on here for a few weeks so thought it was about time I introduced myself! I hope you don’t mind me crashing, to help with my stress levels I have only allowed myself to read one thread on here or I lose hours 🤣

Massive congrats to those who got their BFPs and sending lots of love to those who have had a crappy few months.

I am 31 and my husband is 32 and this is our 3rd month TTC our first. I suspect I had a chemical in my first month had some really weird symptoms and a 32 day cycle where my usual is 27-28. When AF came she was much lighter than usual and cramps were very different. I didn’t test early and when I tested at day 31 it was negative with a CB digital.

This month is my first month tracking BBT all month and using OPKs.

I am finding myself really anxious and dwelling on thoughts of infertility when I know that it is still really early 🙄

I also had a 10cm dermoid ovarian cyst removed in emergency surgery in 2016 that had caused ovarian torsion, the consultant at the time told me it should not cause me problems and I didn’t lose an ovary or tube or anything. I have barely thought about it until TTC and now it’s just another thing to stress over!

Anyway, I am in my fertile week, I had a high reading on a femometer strip last night but CB advanced showed low again this morning. Definitely not loving the heat and being in FW.
