Thank you @LeopardLover 😊

BBT dropped off a cliff edge this morning and AF has arrived so onto cycle 11 I go sigh 😔

LeopardLover · 16/08/2020 06:31

Morning team! It's hard to pop onto this forum without being noticed (staying with relatives) but thank you for all the congrats. 😊

@claireb707 Fingers crossed the SA results will provide you with some answers and this cycle is THE one.

@Tigger1987 Thank you! We haven't even had a chance to really talk about it, but we his sister's DS is the absolute cutest and making me broody anyway. I think I'll order a digital anyway for later in the week! Assuming no AF yet? Feeling wet sounds promising.

@BuckleUp Awww, thank you 😁 I've had more cramping but my BBT rose to its highest yet overnight which was a confidence boost. How are you feeling?

@MrsB2019x Haha thank you! No heavy lifting for me now - hopefully I'll just get to do all the fun stuff 😉

@Sansa87 Really glad you managed to DTD yesterday and made it fun. There's so much pressure on the guys, it's understandable why your OH needed a minute! We DTD on peak days and the one after for luck.🤞🏻

@LT103 How long have you been using OPKs? Fingers crossed you get high fertility and peak soon!!

@Freckle1 Welcome. 😊 How exciting you're starting a month early. It's natural to feel nervous, I love how organised you've been and hoping this cycle is lucky for you!

@SS123456 Thank you! I'm so sorry you're feeling low. 😔 I had the same AF cramps, so I wouldn't rule yourself out just yet? The high BBT is promising too. Sending you virtual hugs and I hope you're feeling a little better this morning. Xx

SS123456 · 15/08/2020 23:41

Congratulations @LeopardLover amazing news! 😁🎉. I'm 14dpo today with a high bbt still but BFN on tests. I have been spotting for the last 4 days (mainly old blood) but I am cramping this eve so I think AF is imminent. Trying to decide if I want to cut my losses and give up at this point as I'm going into month 11 now and it's demoralising going through the feeling of failed for so long 😔

Sansa87 · 15/08/2020 23:18

I feel like maybe just making a pact thread? That way we can always finish off a thread? Though I hope we all get bfps in next couple of months!

MrsB2019x · 15/08/2020 23:16

Welcome @Freckle1!

So glad you managed to DTD @Sansa87 😁

At what point is it worth making a September pact thread? 🤔

Sansa87 · 15/08/2020 22:09

Welcome @Freckle1 I’m very excited by the peak I got today! 😁

Freckle1 · 15/08/2020 21:12

Can I join you guys? We weren’t planning to start trying until September or October but I went off the pill in July to prepare and had my first period recently, been tracking ovulation on Ovia and using Clear Blue Connected this month just to work out patterns before TTC, got a high fertility yesterday and today and we got all enthusiastic and decided to start TTC earlier than we hoped! No peak yet but the clear blue connected identifies two days before ovulation I think so maybe tomorrow! I’m very excited but also a bit scared/nervous all of a sudden now that we’re officially TTC. Xx

LT103 · 15/08/2020 21:06

I should get a second chance at testing. I’m cd13 just now. Usually ovulate day 15 but haven’t even had a high on opk yet never mind a peak so guessing I’m later this cycle

whambam89 · 15/08/2020 20:09

@Sansa87 I think today and tomorrow are your best chances! Considering you'll ovulate at some point between today and tomorrow, after that is a bit pointless. Good luck!

Anyone else left to test this month? I feel like we're half way through and almost everyone has tested already!

Sansa87 · 15/08/2020 20:02

Just scared him by saying I wanted to try again tonight 😂😂 poor boy (I don’t, I just knew how funny his reaction would be.)

I have work tomorrow, but it’s second day of peak. So definitely have to try again.

Am I right in thinking you chances go way down after tomorrow?

Sansa87 · 15/08/2020 19:46

We managed without alcohol. It was unplanned and great. Woo!

claireb707 · 15/08/2020 18:11
@LeopardLover I bet your OH was so confused initially. Ahhh have a lovely time away. Bet you are both so excited. It will be like a special secret between the both of you. I can't really help test wise as when I was pregnant with my son I did a few more FRERs then the CB digital but this was 3 years ago. You have such a good line already but I know what that itch is like to test. Maybe some form of digital would be nice just to see the words "pregnant".

AF still not here so 1 day late. I am spending most of the day thinking it is coming as quite wet (sorry for overshare) and googling every symptom!!! I have spent way too much on tests so going to try and wait till tomorrow to test again.

@claireb707
Hope you don't have to wait to long for the results of the SA. Which opks do you use? Really hope this is your cycle 🤞

@Sansa87 plying with alcohol seems like a good way forward. May help to make him more relaxed too!
I use both wandfo cheapies and the cbd advanced ones.
I really hope it is too but suspect we're gonna need help 😢

Omg I don’t come on here for 24 hours and I miss so much 😂

@LeopardLover!!! Congratulations lovely lady! Such a good line! Your poor OH this morning haha 🤣 so happy for you. Now put down the DIY!

@bh2210 Congrats on your BFP too!

@Sansa87 Glad you have finally peaked! I don’t tell DH about ovulation as I don’t want him to feel pressured. Sure some booze will sort your OH out, bless him

@claireb707 Hope your DH’s results come through soon and you get some answers x

Welcome @Hopefulmummie, so sorry for your loss. I had an ectopic too but in April. Last cycle was the first I could try properly again. Fingers crossed for you! This is a lovely thread full of lovely supportive ladies.

Loving all the BFP’s so far!

I am trundling on, CD3. Exchanged contracts yesterday and moving house on Wednesday so that will keep me busy til FW!

Sansa87 · 15/08/2020 17:59

Love all the bfps 😁

BuckleUp · 15/08/2020 15:37

@LeopardLover Massive congratulations!! I had a feeling this month was your lucky one! I had AF type cramping for a few days before AF was due and then for nearly a week after. I also had that 'wet' feeling you describe.. two weeks later and I'm still knicker checking 😂. So so happy for you!

Tigger1987 · 15/08/2020 14:41

Oh had overthinking issues this morning 😩 I shouldn’t have told him I’d peaked. I had a lovely time, but no ahem finish.

Gonna ply him with disarrano later and try again 😂

claireb707 · 15/08/2020 12:57

So today is our 12 month mark 😢

Partner did his repeat SA yesterday so now waiting for the results. I'm cd6 today so about to start the opk testing again

Oh wow congratulations @LeopardLover that's a good strong line

LeopardLover · 15/08/2020 12:17

@whambam89 @Sansa87 @Tigger1987 Thank you all!! It's slowly starting to sink in, although now I want to buy more tests - can anyone recommend what one I should try next? I know the CB weeks one isn't great?

Thank you @Sansa87 for putting my mind at ease re cramping and shoulder aches!! I have been going hard on the DIY this week but now I have an excuse not to. Also I get the impression I can request massages when I want moving forward 😉 I hope you managed to DTD!

It's so weird because I still feel like I might come on my period, also feeling a little wet like AF will show 🙈 @Tigger1987 I absolutely messed up the reveal as I was worried about the shoulder thing... OJ was half asleep so I just plonked it on the bed and started talking about my shoulder pain, he was trying to follow and couldn't work out if there was one line or 2 🤣 We're heading to stay with one of his sister's for the weekend so need to play it cool. We're both quietly excited 😊 So no AF for you and perhaps a squinter? Fingers crossed!!

duckii · 15/08/2020 12:12

Omg amazing news @LeopardLover congratulations! How did your OH take the news? Xx

Tigger1987 · 15/08/2020 09:55

Omg @LeopardLover such an amazing line!!! I am so happy for you!!! Cramping is very common in early pregnancy. Lots of posts of people thinking their period was going to come and didn't. What a great way to start a Saturday. Have you told your OH?

Sansa87 · 15/08/2020 09:29

Yay @LeopardLover I’m so happy for you!!!!! What a good line!!! I had cramping when I had my bfp and was told it’s the uterus stretching, so it’s a GOOD sign!

I didn’t think shoulder pain being a bad thing came into play until a couple of weeks later. You do do (hehe she said dodo) a lot of diy shiz atm, so would more likely put it down to that.

Ahhhhh! Congrats!

whambam89 · 15/08/2020 09:15

@LeopardLover omg congratulations! Such a strong line as well, so happy for you!
