@whambam89 oh bless you that must be so rubbish 😔 keep hoping, every day's a different day! No idea if it's low oestrogen, I was just assuming because it's a side effect of coming off the pill. I personally didn't think the pill did anything for me (other than what it's sposed to) but my hair and scalp has been awful since so it must have been doing more than I realised!
@stickytoffeepud1991 we dtd all through what I thought was ov then kind of reduced frequency so we probs missed it but I just want AF to turn up now anyway!

stickytoffeepud1991 · 16/08/2020 18:49

Thanks girls!!
I hate that our bodies constantly play mind games?? Even though we only dtd once and I’m not expecting anything cause I’m only 50% sure I ovulated that day it still gets me down when I see a BFN but strangely doesn’t bother me at work.

@MrsBtobe2020 that sounds promising As my cycle is 29/30! But Your on cd38 now with no period at all so I’d be well confused 🤷🏼‍♀️ Have you jusr continuously dtd anyway just to be sure??

@MrsB2019x ffs.. hate this 😂 not poas now unless my period doesn’t come wed/thurs!! Xx

whambam89 · 16/08/2020 18:45

@MrsBtobe2020 is that a sign of low oestrogen? My hair has been shedding so so much since having methotrexate and thought perhaps it was down to that. Low oestrogen could be the reason we aren't getting pregnant though I suppose 😫

whambam89 · 16/08/2020 18:41

@stickytoffeepud1991 thank you ❤️

whambam89 · 16/08/2020 18:40

@MrsBtobe2020 exactly, especially when that someone is your sister who then messages you almost daily complaining about how rubbish she feels / asking advice on something to buy for baby etc etc! It's weird because at the time of the ectopic I coped quite well but I feel like it's getting worse rather than better!

Sansa87 · 16/08/2020 18:38

@MrsB2019x Oh my Jesus, this is going to distract me from life 😂 Downloading now.

MrsBtobe2020 · 16/08/2020 18:28

@stickytoffeepud1991 I've had two 'proper' periods since stopping the pill and they were 35 and then 30 days so I think maybe just settling back down? I had cramps a while ago, did both an hcg and LH test and LH came back higher than I've ever had. I'm wondering whether I've actually ovulated at around cd27 and that maybe my natural cycle is starting to happen? I must have low oestrogen because my hair is properly shedding so now telling myself I'm going to be bald and never pregnant 😂

MrsB2019x · 16/08/2020 18:27

@Sansa87 Download the Dulux Visualizer app, it uses your camera and projects different shades of paint on your wall! I’m obsessed 😂

@stickytoffeepud1991 I thought increased CM was an early sign of pregnancy but I had that last cycle and I’m currently sat here on CD4 so clearly not 🙄

Sansa87 · 16/08/2020 18:07

Thanks @stickytoffeepud1991 now to convince oh I’m allowed one wall that colour 😂

stickytoffeepud1991 · 16/08/2020 18:04

@Sansa87 it’s like the colour in my daughters room and hers is Dulux dusted fondant 😂😂

stickytoffeepud1991 · 16/08/2020 18:02

@whambam89 I’m so sorry I completely read past what you said. Thinking of you xx

@MrsBtobe2020 oh dear!! Are your cycles usually this long?? What have your previous cycles been like??

Is a lot of discharge/mucus signs of AF coming? This is only my second one and I feel like last time I just wiped and red/brown was there! Xx

Sansa87 · 16/08/2020 17:54

Off topic, but you know the pink/purple colour that your own post is... what shade do you think it is? I reckon it would be nice in the dressing room or downstairs toilet in the new house 😂 just a feature wall, but I’m really warming to it 😂

Sansa87 · 16/08/2020 17:53

Thanks @MrsB2019x I hope so. Trying not to be annoyed he doesn’t want to try again tonight as it’s not fair on him. I think I’m nailing it though, he seems pretty happy 😂

Hoping it’s the 2ww tomorrow, and I have a normal lp and cb is just using my normal non mmc cycle of 28 days.

MrsB2019x · 16/08/2020 17:41

To be fair @Sansa87 I think yesterday probably would have been the best day anyway ☺️ Try not to beat yourself up about it x

Sansa87 · 16/08/2020 17:07

Potentially @claireb707 I just don’t think I understand opk’s too much.

I only used Clearblue last time & that’s when we got our bfp.

I said I wasn’t going to put any pressure on myself this month as it’s just after the surgery but apparently my brain has other ideas now it’s here 🙈

Not necessarily, could mean that your urine was too dilute

Sansa87 · 16/08/2020 16:33

As you know, I got my static smiley on the cb opk yesterday morning. That means two days of peak fertility according to the app.

I just did this cheapy one, & the line is non existent near enough. Does that mean I’ve already ovulated, & missed my chance to try again.

Oh already wasn’t a fan of dtd tonight after trying twice yesterday (once successful) so I don’t want to pressure him if actually there’s no point on the baby making front

MrsBtobe2020 · 16/08/2020 14:42

@LeopardLover ahh congrats that's such a clear result!
@stickytoffeepud1991 haha that made me laugh. I'm defo out, now 8 days late with the clearest test youl ever see and absolutely no cramps. CD 38, all gone wacky
@whambam89 isnt that feeling so awful. Especially when people tell you things like someone getting pregnant whilst taking the pill 🙄 which is fine to hear normally but not whilst you're ttc!

stickytoffeepud1991 · 16/08/2020 10:39

Congrats @LeopardLover that is an amazing line!!!! Whoop!

Think I’m out. I’ve got bad cramps, I feel hungover and coupled with my farts 😂. I’m due AF Wednesday so that would make me 11dpo I got a few of them pregnancy test kits with my ovulation kits and they say they are 10mui so early detection and it was a clear as day negative!
Xxx

89Ann · 16/08/2020 09:13

@LeopardLover Congratulations 😄 this has really made my morning!

I am stressing with first month OPKs, had my first flashing on CB yesterday morn and again 9pm last night with cheap strips looking high but not peak. We did not DTD as did Friday and wanted to save ourselves for today and tomorrow. OH woke up with bad tummy (you can imagine what I mean) at 4am so i temped and did CB as couldn’t hold it and it was a static, he was too poorly to DTD and had to leave for work at 7am and now I have just done a cheapy and that’s peak. He isn’t going to be home until 2pm and I am panicking we will miss it! Xx

Tigger1987 · 16/08/2020 09:05

Morning everyone!
@SS123456 Really sorry to hear AF has arrived. Be kind to yourself. TTC is so emotionally draining.

@Freckle1 Welcome to the group 🙂

@LeopardLover Glad you had a lovely time at OH sisters. No AF yet and 2 days late. Woke up to a BBT rise and RHR rise which got my hopes up. OH went to get a pregnancy test which is pretty hard on a Sunday morning so options were limited. He could only get a normal clearblue one. So not sensitive and came up BFN. So I am going to leave it till Wednesday (when DH is at nursery) and if AF hasn't arrived will test again as spent way too much on tests this month!!!

BuckleUp · 16/08/2020 08:32

@Freckle1 Welcome 😊

@whambam89 I think you're right, the moods while TTC are definitely not helped by the hormones present when AF arrives! Sorry to hear you're coming up to the due date. Thinking of you 💐

@SS123456 Sorry to year you're feeling low. Take some time for yourself and maybe have a couple of cycles off to reset your mind again x

@LeopardLover The cramping is definitely normal unless it becomes properly painful. Mine almost reached AF level of pain at the start, but I think it's just everything stretching thanks to those pesky hormones. The cramps went about a week after AF was due for me and were replaced with nausea 🤢. Got some anti sickness meds now just in case, but otherwise I still don't quite believe it.. Wishing you the best of pregnancies x

SS123456 · 16/08/2020 08:24

It's really horrible isn't it 😔. I have an 8 year old son from a previous relationship and he was a 'first shot' baby so I worry about why that hasn't happened again this time and if I've left it too late (I'm nearly 37). My partner doesn't want to go down the ivf type routes due to the cost and the nhs won't help as I have a child already so I'm not really sure what other avenues for help there are (if any)

whambam89 · 16/08/2020 08:17

@Freckle1 welcome and good luck! X

whambam89 · 16/08/2020 08:16

@SS123456 sorry to hear AF has arrived for you! We're only on cycle 3 (this time round) but it's creeping closer to what would have been our due date (early Oct) and every time AF turns up I completely get the feeling of "is it just worth it, will it ever happen for us again?".. I do think it's partially hormonal though because a week or so on I'm always ready to carry on trying again. Hope you're feeling ok this morning x
