August might be pact might be madness part 2

Symptoms sound positive Sansa especially as you're getting closer to 6 weeks - my symptoms start early but they do ramp up around 6 weeks.
Fingers crossed the spotting is absolutely nothing to worry about.

I am in my fertile week. Not sure we are going to try this month. Things have been very stressed at home for various reasons. Going to speak to DP again tonight and see what he thinks. I wouldn't mind taking a month off but I am 6 months away from 43 so we really don't have the time to mess around.

@Sansa87 I wonder if it's got something to do with you not having a period in between? So your body is just getting rid of old blood? Symptoms sound positive though! Glad you're having a nice time x

So glad that I came on holiday, it’s been so much fun.

Still having bad period pains, & brown discharge/blood. However my boobs have started hurting a lot, & I’m feeling a tiny bit nauseous.

Oh has said we will take another test on Saturday, and go from there.

I have no idea what’s happening with my body.

Bit MIA only cause on hol. However checked in and they given us upgraded room so it’s a double apartment which means we have 2 rooms which means we have baby danced Saturday and yesterday, ovia says due to ovulate Saturday so will aim to do it tomorrow then Saturday!! Feel like this is fate 😂 hope everyone is alright! Xx

I'm on CD19 and no positive OPK yet, I wonder if I've missed it as I went away Saturday night and forgot to bring them with me. I usually ovulate CD 14 or 15 so my app is saying I'm 4 DPO but I'm so unclear this month! @whambam89 I think we might be on a similar timeline if I did miss it!

I have horrible cramps this morning tummy and back, like af is coming but would be super early if it did.

@whambam89 I looked over my notes from last month and it did say they were a bit tender last month but not really that noticeable. I can feel them all the time atm 😂 I caved and tested this morning on an IC, BFN. Good luck for the new job! 🙌

I'm 5dpo today and not tempted yet but I know that will change by 9dpo 😂 first day of my new job and currently child free so enjoying a coffee and some toast before I have to go and make myself look presentable! Only in 5 hours today so not too bad and means I get to pick DD up from nursery which I won't usually be able to do.

I am 9dpo today, boobs are killing and back hurts. AF due on Saturday. Something is telling me I’m out this month, not sure why. Convinced myself I’m barren I think 😅

Morning girls, how is everyone.

I ache this morning. There’s a games room in this cottage so I spent hours playing table tennis yesterday 😅

Mentally I’m feeling quite good at the mo. I have no symptoms at all this morning, & woke up at 6 instead of 4 which I’d been doing all through the pregnancy.

I think I emotionally protected myself incase this happened again, so it’s not devastating me as much atm, though I know me, & know this means it will absolutely come out unexpectedly in loud sobs on a bathroom floor within the next year.

I’m going to call the gp on Friday to get the referral to the EPU (that alone might make it seem more real) I think where we didn’t wait a cycle, it almost feels like the same pregnancy in June/July, just prolonged.

Not horrendous pain @whambam89 but more than I should be.

Currently driving to the cottage now, & cant quite bring myself to join in with the sing song. Had a little bit more spotting before I left, two tiny spots.

Not as soon as she was born - as soon as I found out I was pregnant!

@Sansa87 I smoked on an off for about 20 years although gave up for the odd couple of years here and there. I was smoking and drinking a lot when I became pregnant with my daughter - it was December and we were out pretty much all month. The important thing is, I stopped as soon as she was born and haven't smoked since. I also barely drink now but that is mainly because her sleep is so shit I cannot bear the thought of a hangover.

You are not responsible for the loss of a pregnancy. It is much more common than people realise and I think you do really need to trust doctors who say there is often no reason found. It has absolutely nothing to do with you smoking.

@sansa87 as MrsB says, there are many people out there who really do abuse their bodies and still have a healthy pregnancy so please don't beat yourself up about smoking before you got pregnant!

If it will put your mind at rest a little then maybe give the doctor's a call this morning x

@Sansa87 Don’t beat yourself up about it, I work for SS and see mothers who do A LOT worse to their babies in utero and the babies are absolutely fine. Easier said than done but try and enjoy your few days away, might be a nice distraction from it all 💙

Thanks @whambam89 I did an internal check this morning as there was nothing when I wiped, and there was some creamy brown cm.

I don’t know whether to ring the doctor, so at least it’s just on my file.

No point doing an early scan at 5 weeks, I don’t think I’m in enough pain for it to be ectopic, and I’m away, so no point doing the first hcg blood test.

We have decided that if/when this ends not nicely, this time we will wait for a period before starting to ttc again.

I do suddenly hate myself for how much I smoked In my 20’s and you to May this year 😔
