@whambam89 Thanks lovely. We have ordered pizza so I can eat my feelings 😂 It doesn’t seem to be lucky this month does it? I’m hoping your test tomorrow will see the luck turning though!

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 19:16

@MrsB2019x also, you've not failed anyone! You can only do what you can do and sometimes life is just unfair unfortunately 😪

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 19:02

@MrsB2019x rant away. Sorry that AF has turned up, gutted for you :( pour yourself a large gin, you deserve it! September isn't turning out to be a very lucky month for this thread is it?!

MrsB2019x · 13/09/2020 18:32

AF is officially here. I’m out. I don’t know what it is this month, I’m always disappointed obvs but I’ll pick myself up and move on. Something about this month has left me feeling devastated. 😭 I think because DH opened up the other day about struggling with the ectopic at the moment and I really wanted to give him something this month. But I’ve failed him again. I’m so, so gutted. 😥

Sorry for the rant needed to get it out!!!

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 18:07

@whambam89 @stickytoffeepud1991 I definitely feel your pain on that one! My DS was a 'one shot' baby in my first month off the pill and here I am now 8 years later ttc no.2 and on cycle 12!

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 16:31

@stickytoffeepud1991 I definitely wasn't as stressed as I am this time around with DD, I think it's because you're aiming for a certain age gap or don't want it to be more than x amount of years between them. Feel free to moan here, it's what we're here for!

MrsB2019x · 13/09/2020 16:04

Fair enough @whambam89, will stay tuned in for tomorrow’s cheapy! Really hope it’s good news for you x

@stickytoffeepud1991 Sorry you’re feeling down 😔 What CD would you have been at the beginning of the month? All this tracking does get confusing sometimes!

Think AF is on her way. Just had some spotting and now cramping so like 99% sure I’m out.

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 15:50

@MrsB2019x no I've not, if it's going to be a bfp it'll show eventually on a cheap test is my theory 😂 I've only ever bought frers once and they just tempted me even more to test early

stickytoffeepud1991 · 13/09/2020 14:38

Hi ladies!
Feeling a bit down today. On hols and all week has been my ovulation week according to ovia with Friday being my top fertile day. DTD last sat and Monday. Tried on thurs and fri but DH said he had a bad stomach. Ended up doing it sat morning but he never is able to finish so literally completely missed this month. After a positive start to the week 😬🙄.
Also side note I don’t even think I’m ovulating now I think I genuinely ovulated at the start of the month. I had awful cramp and 2 days of ewcm 1/2nd sept but didn’t do anything about it cause my opks were negative. I can’t remember being this stressed with DD 😭 xxx sorry I shouldn’t moan x x

MrsB2019x · 13/09/2020 14:12

@whambam89 You got any FRER’s in? Might be worth one of those?

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 12:57

@kirinm I think it's called clear&simple or something like that!

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:47

What brand of test is that? This is why I can't test early anymore. I literally spend hours obsessing. This isn't even my test!!

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 12:27

@MrsB2019x I think if I can see something it doesn't have colour. Don't really know why I bothered when it's just a normal test 😂 I had a dream last night that I did a digital that said "pregnant" which is what I think pushed me into doing it hahaha

@kirinm thank you! I can see it there but still not convinced, will try again tomorrow!

MrsB2019x · 13/09/2020 12:17

@whambam89 Knew you would! 🤣 I think I can see a squintier but hard to tell if it his colour - do another one tomorrow! 😁

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:16

I've played with it. There's definitely something there. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 12:15

@Sansa87 thanks! I'm not sure I see anything to be honest, think it's wishful thinking

@kirinm only 10dpo so probs shouldn't have even bothered testing haha

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:14

I bet if you played with the lighting a bit on that first pic, the line would be clearer.

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:13

That should be @whambam89

kirinm · 13/09/2020 12:12

@whambam87 I can't see anything on the inverted but I never can unless they're painfully obvious. But I can see something very very faint on the normal pic. How many DPO are you? Eeeee exciting!

Sansa87 · 13/09/2020 12:09

@whambam89 I think I can see something, but I’m awful at them! Oh is the king, so I’ll ask him when I get home from work!

whambam89 · 13/09/2020 11:39

I caved didn't I... Can anyone see anything?? 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@kirinm I appreciate it is completely easier said than done but could you maybe set an end date for recording/tracking anything cycle related (ovulation, period etc) and not then 'not be trying' but not preventing at the same time?

SS123456 · 13/09/2020 08:59

@kirinm It is something I'm considering but my partner is super cautious about spending money unless completed needed and is keen to continue trying without the extra costs. I get where he is coming from but after a year of trying I do think we may need to seriously consider it as I am turning 37 next month and not getting any younger

kirinm · 13/09/2020 08:32

@SS123456 do you have the funds to go private if you wouldn't be eligible for NHS help?

I think we are going to have to give ourselves an end date. I'm too old for ivf (and wouldn't be eligible) and I don't want to keep having repeat chemical pregnancies or endless months of disappointment. We haven't set a date yet but I think we need one.
