@PinkRoseFlower we are at similar stages of our cycle.

@candycrush2298 I'm okay, but frustrated and fed up. Need to stop being so obsessive and focus on the present more. X

Elakiya · 10/08/2020 10:41

Just read a different thread and found this
"I've pasted the soy info below - I did CD 5-9 as was having blood work / a scan before that and wanted them to be natural. I just got the Tesco ones (ignore the fact they say menopause on them 🙈) and took 80mg CD 5-7 and then 120mg CD 8-9 although actually didn't take day 9 ones as had a migraine. I took them before bed as can cause headaches etc.

Here's the info I found on them:
You take Soy Isoflavones, like Clomid, on either CD 1-5 , 2-6, 3-7, 4-8 or 5-9. If you take Soy Isoflavones during the later time bracket, for example CD5-9, you shall strengthen the egg that has already started growing producing a healthier egg. The earlier in your cycle you take it, the higher your chance of releasing multiple eggs but these eggs will not be as mature as the eggs grown from taking Soy later. A lot of women will choose the middle cycle (3-7) allowing time for a strong and healthy egg to develop without erasing the chance of a second egg being developed and released.
1-5 = you produce more eggs, and ovulate sooner, with a stronger ovulation.
2-6 = you produce more eggs than usual, but not as many as taking it 1-5. Eggs may be more mature, and ovulation will be slightly more strong than 1-5.
3-7 = The best of both worlds, a few more eggs, and all eggs will be strong & mature, and ovulation will be alot stronger than 1-5.
4-8 = No more eggs will be produced, but the ones already there, will be matured alot more than usual, and ovulation will be very strong. Ovulation may only be brought forward a teeny bit.
5-9 = You'll have one very mature strong egg, from the ones you already produced on your own. Ovulation will either happen when it usually does, or a few days later, but your egg will be of great quality."

Tempted to try next month

Kaybobx · 10/08/2020 10:36

@candycrush2298 I'm trying to stay positive but then just thinking it never happens so whats the difference now.
The triphasic example chart on Fertility Friends is exactly the same as mine, so if my temp shoots up high tomorrow I'd be happy at this then lead to a pregnancy.

@PinkRoseFlower no don't waste that digital. You need to have really high HCG for those to work. Good luck.

@indecisivewoman81 dont give up yet. Its not over until she shows.

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 10:14

@indecisivewoman81 yeah still a few days away so you definitely have time dont stress about it.
I am good AF is nearly finished so we can try again soon. How are you??

@PinkRoseFlower lol as they say some symptoms is the symptom lol. Yeah definitely keep the digital for last lol!!! Good luck for testing let us know how it goes xx

PinkRoseFlower · 10/08/2020 10:08

Happy Monday All!

I am 9dpo, not feeling any pg symptoms 😒 as much as I do keep searching for them 😂

I've only got 1 pg test and it's a CB digital so not wasting it, going to order some frers and test on Thurs or Friday, AF is due Saturday.

Good luck to everyone else testing this week🤞

indecisivewoman81 · 10/08/2020 10:03

@candycrush2298 AF is due Friday.

How are you doing? X

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 10:00

@Boc86 oh thats lovely so glad you have been referred there (sorry if you already told us this) very pleased to hear it then I like your plan of waiting until 11dpo to avoid dissapointment. Truly hoping there won't be any dissapointment this time round though.

@indecisivewoman81 so sorry about your BFN hopefully it will still turn into a BFP when is AF due?

OP posts:
indecisivewoman81 · 10/08/2020 09:56

Hey everyone.

How are we all doing?

I'm 10dpo today and did a IC pregnancy test which was BFN so I'm probably out this month.

I hope everyone else gets there 2 pink lines xx

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 09:52

@Kaybobx hahahahaha our husbands must be none the wiser and how can we blame them when we spend most of the time confused by what our bodies are doing 🤣🤣🤣

Hmmm I don't mind cordial @but not when its hot hahahah.

Are you at least feeling a little hopeful about this cycle?

@NamechangeTTC morning!! Awww sorry you feeling awful

OP posts:
Boc86 · 10/08/2020 09:52

Ooo exciting @Kaybobx and good luck. Thank you ❤️

@candycrush2298 thank you ❤️ I’ve already been referred to the recurrent mc clinic so I don’t need to update my doctor anymore x

NamechangeTTC · 10/08/2020 09:43

Just catching up ladies

Interesting to hear others feel awful after ovulation. I felt very low.

5dpo.

Kaybobx · 10/08/2020 09:42

@candycrush2298 if we ourselves don't understand women how do you think our husbands feel? Haha!! Oh yeah that would be amazing, i like your imagination haha! If only ay!

The tea is very sweet. Abit like if you heated cordial.

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 09:36

@Kaybobx I wish there was a normal thing that every single women got when they implanted like a green line on her tummy saying yep she's having a baby when that line appeared it means she's pregnant hahahah wish it was that simple. Women are just a ball of hormones and most times the symptoms women do get are just progesterone symptoms.
Very very annoying.....

Yeah I am not sure I am going to like the tea hahahahaha.

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 10/08/2020 09:32

@candycrush2298 haha yeah symptoms literally are 50/50 for everyone. Why is nothing ever simple?

Oh ok I'll have a look into the Raspberry leaf tea. It does actually taste really nice. I remember it being a cold December and i was drinking cup and cups to try and get her out... didn't work lol.

@Elakiya good idea with the sports bra 👌🏻 when's your AF due?

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 09:31

@Elakiya as I mentioned before I am on the premom Facebook group and many people and I mean many people only get an increase in their LH (very close to positive) way afted their pg tests have already given a positive.

A sort of a high test is normal fluctuations and has nothing to do with pregnancy it won't start to rise and keep rising if you pregnant.

I know you only testing LH but even if its low now and you get a very high (positive or very close to pos) then it may be a sign you pg so dont worry that its low now.

On the charts that I have seen with women who test lh through out their cycle they go up and down and sometimes it goes high just before AF and sometimes they pg so unfortunately that can go either way😒

OP posts:
Elakiya · 10/08/2020 09:23

@Kaybobx Yh I’ve resorted to sports bras as they are more comfy.

@candycrush2298 I was hoping it would start showing a higher second line on the OPK so that there is a chance I am pregnant.

I really need to study for my exams 7 weeks to go and I haven’t even opened my notes.

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 09:03

@Kaybobx yeah thats where I get all my knowledge from old forums lol someone has already asked the question years before me and the answers are usually always near 50/50 some women it was a pg symptom and others it was AF so it actually doesn't help me reading them lol!!

That also sounds like a good plan. 5 tests 5 days lets hope they get a pink second line. Fingers crossed for you xx

Its good in both the second trimester and you are supposed to take it from the first day of AF until your peak day (stop just before ovulation) as it strengthens your uterine lining to help with implantation but must not be taken after ovulation as that can impede implantation from what I read lol. So I am actually already late and it probably won't do anything this cycle as I should have been taking it days ago but thought wth give it a bash anyway haha.

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 10/08/2020 08:58

@Elakiya haha!!! OMG this is exactly the same for me! Hubby keeps saying 'Are you cold or excited to see me'.
Then he keeps staring at my chest and if i tell him off he's like 'well they are just pointing at me i can't not look' haha!! 🤣🤣 i hate wearing a bra, they feel proper sore so they need airing.

Kaybobx · 10/08/2020 08:55

@candycrush2298 every cycle i google and i should of been pregnant several times if i listened to it haha!
Although i do like when you put things in google all the old forums come up. I enjoy reading those with other peoples experiences.

Sounds good your plan for next cycle. It is starting to drive us all crazy. Ive only got 5 cheapies left so going to use those 8dpo to 12. I'm not buying anymore either.

Thats really strange the Raspberry leaf tea. How does that help? I was told to drink that in very late pregnancy as it brings on labour and helps strengthen the uterus. Surely thats not good in early pregnancy then?

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 08:53

@Elakiya glad you are feeling even a little better.

Thats great news that your opks are still low means you definitely ovulated and you not getting another surge. Really pleased to hear it. How long is your luteal phase normally?

Glad the cold is easing off and how bizarre with your eye hope it feels better soon. I hate eye, ear and nose pain.

Lol omg erect nipples really hoping that is a symptom for you since you have never experienced it before. Whahahahaha hubby thinking you wanna go go go 🤣🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
Elakiya · 10/08/2020 08:48

@candycrush2298 thanks hun that has cheered me up a bit. I think my progesterone is probably sky high as I am super emotional all the time.

My cold seems to be slowly disappearing my throat still hurts. Also I woke up yesterday with my left eye throbbing and it’s just not gone away, I might put an ice pack on it.

I’m 7/8 dpo and OPK is still negative 😞 AF due on Monday next week. If I have calculated that correctly.

@Kaybobx this one is going to make you laugh since last night my nipples are erect no idea why but hubby thinks I want to BD and keeps going “well if you’re not in that zone why are they erect they are never erect”

Well now thanks to this, I have to wear my bra around the house otherwise my husband gets the wrong idea. How rubbish is that.

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 08:41

@snapple21 its the corpus luteum its estrogens one last surge before progesterone really kicks in I Googled it because I also had a drop right in the beginning. Should go back tomorrow.

@Kaybobx I know so have I becuase every time I do Google there is always someone that it was a pg symptom for them or it was a pms symptom everything can go either way. I note everything down so I can find trends of what's normal for me but I am not Googling anymore. This cycle I am only going to test closer to AF as well. Not buying more tests either. Just using what I have. Going to only test about 10/11dpo this cycle. Since the cycle before my last one was a 14day luteal phase and this one back to a 12 day I am going to count that as an outlier so 12dpo is my norm. That will make testing only 2/3 days before AF is due and if there is anything it should pick up by then. My sanity needs to do this.

Hahahahahaha I know what you mean also thinking about this rasberry tea need to buy more pregnacare and I am going to switch too conceive+ as well this cycle so may as well add some rasberry tea to the list 🤣

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 10/08/2020 08:29

@snapple21 i don't think drops matter until your closer to AF. Mines been up and down constantly.

@candycrush2298 yeah i have kinda gave up on the symptom spotting then jumping on Dr Google, just hard to not instantly feel negative at this point.
No ive not tried SMEP before, maybe i should give it a go time too. I'll literally try anything haha!
I don't think your short cycle is an issue, if it was it would be on Dr Google for sure.

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 08:15

@Kaybobx I know what you mean because in fertility friend the lines are very close together so it makes for very easy reading. The other apps look super cute thats why I also keep using it but this one is much more practical actually visible how your temps are shifting.

Lol noooo don't put any pressure on yourself also you are only 7dpo so yours shouldn't drop for a while still. BUT hopefully it won't at all!!! I am soooo hopeful this cycle for you.

Awwww so do you think this are just the new "normal" af symptoms now? Many women have said it just feels like AF is starting so I honestly don't think symptoms are anything to go by - in my case anyway lol!!!

Yeah it is a benefit but I have wondered if a short follicular phase could not be a problem like are my eggs having enough time to mature and be of good quality? Google was not helpful on this front as everything is put onto the luteal phase. I just wish hubby could go for his dam test so I can start asking these questions at the fertility clinic - GP's won't know as they are generalists you know.
No I haven't tried SMEP before I tried too but after the 3day bd I just could not skip one day and do another 🤣🤣🤣 so going to try it for real this time. How about you? Have you tried it?

OP posts:
snapple21 · 10/08/2020 08:10

I was just coming on to ask about temps. Mines dropped back down again! Can anyone make sense of this? I'm only 4 days PO
