@candycrush2298 apparently erect nipples can be a sign of ovulation but just not one I’ve had before. It’s soo annoying because it’s actually quite painful having them up like that all the time 🤦🏾‍♀️.

That’s very true I don’t really know when and if I ovulated however I am going by the fact that I have always got my period in 14 days after my 1st peak so am guessing I am 9 dpo using that which is probably awful maths esp as I may have a shorter LP.

I really wanna try soy next month I’ll do a bit of research to see if it’s okay to take with metformin

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 08:11

@Elakiya was it negative? With all your extremely high tests you dont know when you ovulated hun you could be like 6dpo for all we know. Dont lose hope yet.

I understand just wanting to test I really do and I also think the erect nipples are strange. I mean like what else could it actually be? Did anyone else have erect nipples and they got their BFPs??

@candycrush2298 I stupidly took a pregnancy test today ( it’s 9 dpo why did I bother 🤦🏾‍♀️) because those damn erect nipples aren’t going away hubby thinks it hilarious. I am just annoyed because it means I have to wear a bra around the house. Have really bad cramps so I can feel the arrival of AF 🤦🏾‍♀️ Here we go again.

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 07:29

@Boc86 I am taking Soy Isoflavones, @Elakiya was so kind and copied and pasted from a thread on what it does. Its dubbed the "natural clomid" and is to be taken like clomid and I went and Googled I pasted a link with a 22pg thread of BFPs, some took it for short luteal phases, pcos, unexplained infertility, or simply because they didn't want to wait. So I am taking 120mg (Tesco Brand) from CD3-CD7. It may or may not work but with all the success I figured if its going to strengthen my eggs why not give it a bash.

Boc86 · 11/08/2020 07:24

What is it you’re taking @candycrush2298

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 06:58

@Welliedays @NamechangeTTC I will let you guys know how it goes, took the first dose last night.

@Kaybobx have you tested?

OP posts:
NamechangeTTC · 10/08/2020 22:45

I think I’ll join you on those!

Welliedays · 10/08/2020 22:04

@candycrush2299 you defs need to give it a go and see what happens! I haven't decided whether to try again next month as we'd be getting closer to me being heavily pregnant/having a newborn for our wedding reception next year.. But I'd be tempted to give it a try after reading that thread!

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 22:04

@Elakiya awww its a pleasure I dont feel like I have done much but I am so pleased to hear you are feeling better xx

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 22:00

I will be the guinea pig and if I have it goes terribly wrong and messes up my cycle horribly and everything goes to shit I will let you know not to take this but if nothing bad happens and I still just get a BFN you can bet your ass I will be trying it again whahahahah.

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 21:58

@Elakiya maybe I just need that little boost for a stronger egg I won't mind if it delays my ovulation and increases my cycle length a bit as I would feel (in my mind nothing scientific to back it up) that its actually growing my egg properly and giving it a chance to fully mature hahahaha I know that's probably total hogwash but yeah I would actually wouldnt mind ovulating later 🤣🤣 but if it doesnt and I still ovulate normal time I will be telling myself this is a good strong egg hahahaa anything to justify it 🤣🤣🤣 I wasn't feeling this optimistic when I woke up this morning so thank you so much even if it doesnt work you have lifted my spirits and my morale is up again.

@candycrush2298 you have really cheered me up thank you very much. I was a right mess and you’ve helped massively

Elakiya · 10/08/2020 21:50

@candycrush2298 I am very excited to see how it goes for you. Maybe this is just what you need it a natural way of producing stronger healthier and more eggs 😁 can’t wait to see that new BFP. Here’s to the May baby 😁

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 21:44

@Elakiya I am not asking my doctor just going to dive in. Its not a scientific thing they will just dismiss it like maca root and all that jazz lol.

Hubby got them on the way home the Tesco brand and I tried breaking it in half which caused a huge mess hahahaha (dont have a tablet cutter as I have never taken so many pills in my life lol!!!) Soooooooo I am going to take 120mg (3 tablets) right before I go and sleep as I have seen many people said they took it then to avoid side effects. And I will take the same dose for 5 days straight I won't increase my dose I have seen others start at 80mg and end at 200mg but will just flatline it and go for 120mg for full 5days lol.

Elakiya · 10/08/2020 21:38

@candycrush2298 Thanks for sharing that thread too so many positives. I’ll be doing it too. Have you got yours when are you taking them and what dose? Do you think we should ask our doctors

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 21:29

@Elakiya I have just spent the last hour reading this 22page thread of BFPs people with regular cycles, irregular cycles, pcos, healthy you name it people have taken it and mostly it worked 1st cycle but for some it took up to 5 cycles using it and got their bfp. Thank you so much for the recommendation I am super excited for this cycle now 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@NamechangeTTC you're welcome i think the ebay baby mad will be the cheapest but don't think they are the best. The amazon ones above are better in my opinion. Of course I have never gotten a positive pregnancy test hahaah so I base my decision on evaps, indents width and the feel of it hahahaha.

Lol I have gotten pretty good at them 🤣🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
NamechangeTTC · 10/08/2020 20:36

I’m extremely short sighted and keep seeing congratulations posts on things I think are 100% negative. I will need help! It’s ridiculous I can never ever see lines!

NamechangeTTC · 10/08/2020 20:35

I fully understand @Welliedays we’ve been together 4.5 years and always used condoms. The ick is real. Some folk suggested a menstrual cup to keep it in there after. I’m not a fan of a wet patch. Sorry TMI!

Thanks @candycrush2298 I’ll look. Some cheapies that are sensitive I can justify!

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 20:31

@NamechangeTTC I am really loving the easy@home tests (both opks and pg tests are 10miu) Wondfo is also really good and Clinical Guard (these are all on Amazon) been through so many on ebay but they are just thin and horrible the one pregnancy test I did like from ebay was Baby Mad. They are good quality.

@Welliedays you don't know you may be one of those lucky ones that just conceive really quickly. And yes I imagine its awkward with him messing inside you. I havent been on contraceptives since I was a teenager. Hubby and I fluctuated between condoms and the good old pull out method lol!!

OP posts:
Welliedays · 10/08/2020 20:26

@candycrush2298 that will be me in a few months, at least you're further down the road than me and hopefully closer to your positive!! After spending so many years trying to avoid getting pregnant, now trying to do the the opposite is very odd (my body doesn't get on with contraception so we have been relying on condoms for a very long time)

NamechangeTTC · 10/08/2020 20:25

Any cheapies that work at 10 recommended @candycrush2298 I have a lot of FRER poised and the femometer ones which are 20. I hear femometer are shit ones

candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 20:01

there's also other cheapies like Home Bargains or Poundland if you scared of the mail man. Lol so many options🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 10/08/2020 20:00

@Welliedays girrrrrrllllll!!! You gotta Google 🤣🤣🤣🤣 cheapies are what most serial testers use and once they get a positive on a cheap test then they use the expensive ones like FRER or CB digital. As long as the test is 10miu as that's the most sensitive test and they packaging never says what it is I have bought 100s and 100s of the last 2 years and never had one that says "PREGNANCY TESTS"

Sigh..... I wish I was still new to this. Super jealous lol

OP posts:
Welliedays · 10/08/2020 19:49

@candycrush2298 I read somewhere that you have to be careful buying the ones on ebay/amazon as they sometimes aren't stored right before they get to you so can mess up the result... But I don't know if that's right or not 🤔 I also stress they'd come in packaging saying what they are as my MIL gets my post.. But I think that's just me being paranoid 😂
