@Kaybobx currently only ones in stock are the 50opks and 20pg tests but doubt you need more opks

@Kaybobx I bought them from Amazon but it looks like they out of stock guess they are a big seller lol. That sucks sorry hun. Other good brands are Wondfo but if you anything like me I want that one and not another one lol!!!

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 12:45

@candycrush2298 where do you get your easy at home PG tests? Im being dumb but can only find OPKs on amazon

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:43

@Welliedays Tesco only has one brand so at least you won't get confused lol

@candycrush2298 what does the box look like of the soy things you've got? I might get some ready for next month!!

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:36

@Kaybobx yeah but also bare in mind that you have a few days of positive opks there's no way to know which day you ovulated only that you did (confirmed by bbt) so you could be less dpo than you think you are. I would definitely say that the last two months those cheap opks probably missed your real peak and therefore you were off by a few days of ovulation. The most likely scenario is that you weren't actually 17dpo.

Yeah I havent touched that pack of pro matris opks after that disaster with the pg tests lol!!!

The pg tests of easy@home are also nice broad and sturdy. Definitely the higher end quality as far as strip tests go lol!!!

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 12:24

@candycrush2298 oh gosh I'm literally borderline ok then, one more day and I'd have an issue ekk!!

I did a couple of those cheapies alongside the easy@home opks and they barely showed anything against my blazing tests. Probably best i just throw them haha

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:14

@Kaybobx whahahaha I know even in all the squinters I have looked at I havent seen early bfps on those tests not sure why I even bough them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 probably because they cheap🤣🤣

Yes a long luteal phase means your body gives the egg enough time to travel down to its destination. A short luteal phase is what causes all sorts of problems. Anything between 11 and 17days is normal and good. But obviously longer is better lol!! But as with anything too long is also a problem lol longer than 18days would be a issue and could be hormone imbalance and all that. So yours is still normal and good 🤣🤣

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 12:04

@candycrush2298 I might get some easy at home tests. These tiny blue things i doubt actually do anything 😂

Is a long luteal good?? Id much rather a shorter one haha

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 10:08

@Elakiya oh wow how nice of the original poster to share with you what she used. I keep seeing COQ10 but the ubiquonal (excuse my spelling lol) version as thats best but haven't done any actual research on it just what I keep seeing people say they took when they got their BFP but yeah never seen soy Isoflavones until you mentioned it hahahaha!!!

The other vitamins are in my pregnacare vits so not too phased about those.

Lol I would never complain if I had twins but I would be eternally grateful if I got my bfp hahahaa regardless of it theres one or two in there 🤣🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 10:04

@Elakiya I agree I also think they are way better than the ebay cheapies that are so thin and terrible. So I will buy them again.
Lol I did that so many times. Hahahaha I know the feeling.

OK whoop whoop can't wait to hear what Fridays test says.

@Kaybobx hahahaha yeah you are really early and those are terrible tests 🤣🤣🤣

17days wow thats really good though to have such a long luteal phase I am jealous hahahaha!!

Lol I think because no scientific studies have actually been done on it to see the effectiveness so doctors cant recommend what desperate ttc women do🤣🤣

OP posts:
Elakiya · 11/08/2020 09:55

@candycrush2298 @Kaybobx

I asked the lady that posted about the soy questions about what else she took
"@Elakiya of course not - I found about the Soy on one of these forums so share away. I wasn't on any other medication, but I was taking other vitamins / supplements (Coq10, folic acid and vitamin D throughout cycle then 50mg B6 after O - the Coq10 and B6 I only added this cycle along with the Soy so they could've helped with the BFP of course). I hope you get to the bottom of your post-workout bleeding soon x"

@Kaybobx yh 8 dpo I don't think many people get a second line so you're not really out.

@candycrush2298 You just watch you're going to take this soy thing and it's going to make you have twins hahaha! You were hoping for one and suddenly 2 turn up!

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 09:52

@candycrush2298 no completely negative but i have the cheapest most terrible tests and im 8dpo haha.

The last 2 cycles were my longest at 17days! Not sure why they have become so long.

You'd think GPs would recommend soya if its natural and that easy to use. I've literally googled everything and still never found this haha

Elakiya · 11/08/2020 09:48

@candycrush2298 That's true they are still good tests. The more I stare at this test the more I realise that I am probably just seeing a line where I want there to be a line.

I'll test again on Friday

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 09:35

@Kaybobx was yours 100% negative not even a hint? Sorry you got a negative😒

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 09:34

@Elakiya yeah I think with any cheap test though there is margin for error and evaps/indents are way more common on strip tests. Its just the price we pay for wanting to test early using cheaper strips lol!!! Well let's hope your indent turns into a real positive in the next few days. Really holding thumbs xx

@Kaybobx whats the longest your luteal phase has ever been? Was last cycle the longest?

I know and some of the threads I read were from 2011 its like whaaat its been about for years and I have never heard of it whahahaha I have been on the "market" for pregnancy tips for 2 years how did I miss this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah at this rate not this cycle but next cycle I will be closer aligned to you ladies hahahaah.

OP posts:
Elakiya · 11/08/2020 09:29

@Kaybobx No colour at all.

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 09:28

@Elakiya ah thats fab! And both approaching AF with hard nipples too haha!!

Ahhhh praying thats a postive for you!! Did it have a hint of colour could you see?

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 09:22

@candycrush2298 its so long! And I'll probably be late too.

Haha i just had a nose when @elakiya posted it. There we're quite a few success stories weren't there. Definitely worth giving it a go. Crazy how these things keep popping up thats we've never heard of haha.

Ah that's fab you can start again. You'll be catching us up soon.

Elakiya · 11/08/2020 09:22

@kaybobx we're definitely in unison this month :D. I'm due 17th.

@candycrush2298 I have a very faint indent line/evap on the pregnancy test. I tried taking a picture of it but can't pick it up. I don't think it's anything though but just shows that I should not blindly trust easy@home

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 09:04

@Kaybobx omg 7 days at least you onto the final stretch now lol!!!

Yeah H&B are also very powerful which is why they so expensive like 750mg where as for what we want it for we should never exceed 200mg.
The tesco ones are 40mg so I am taking 3 (120mg total)
Didn't know you were following the thread hahaha thats fab did you see all the success stories I am blown away!!

Yeah finishing AF today and will start BD'ng tomorrow.

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 08:59

@candycrush2298 18th AF is due, another long 7 days!

Are you all good to go and back to BDing?

I'm going to try the soya too if unsuccessful. I was reading some forums last night. What mg is the tesco own brand? Do you have to double them up? I cant imagine them being much.
I had a look online and at H&B etc they are really expensive!

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 08:49

@Kaybobx @Elakiya think you two are are having a really similar cycle. Its still early though for both of you. When is AF due for you @Kaybobx?

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 08:43

@Elakiya @candycrush2298 a negative for me too but I wasn't expecting anything different haha!!

What is with these erect nips! Mine are still poking eyes out too!

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 08:37

@Elakiya a sign of ovulation???? But your way past ovulation now lol!!! How bizarre. And I am sure that them being erect would be sore!!! Argh hope you feel better soon. And I am sorry the test is negative.

Yeah I would also just work it from first peak because you need something to work with on a daily basis hahaha cant be stumbling around. First peak is probably best. Still hoping for you hun!!! Someone has to bring us an April baby from here hahahah!!

Yeah do some research and see if it can work for you with what you on. I am really feeling so rejuvenated about this cycle I cannot thank you enough even if this cycle turns into another BFN you lifted my mood up 💜
