Can I join the life raft? Dh managed boinging at roughly the appropriate time this month (which makes a change), so at least I've got a flicker of a hope, however, not going to be on tenterhooks or anything.
Ds being 'dramatic' as nursery nurse put it rather well on Monday - either absolutely loving and sweet or throwing a complete paddy with fists hammering the floor and the full works. 5.30am rise on Sat am didn't go down too well with me... Almost managed a couple of days earlier but we got 'want a wee' at a critical moment and dh was asleep when I got back
Fi, hope you're feeling a bit better - any idea what the recovery period is? I know that even with a minor op the general anasthetic makes me feel grotty for at least 3 weeks - and that's without anything else major to make me feel bad.
Baby show - we really need a special 'baby free' day when you're only allowed in if you're bump and baby free!
Sybil - ((hugs)). Luckily with last one for me it was an early mc so I had not got to the stage of working out edd. 1st one pretty awful as I found out that my last chemo treatment was on my edd - then would have to wait a further year, so not a great time. I was quite relieved that ds was not 6 days earlier than he was (which wasn't out of the question given the size he was).
We have a very strange situation here though. Ds now has an imaginary 'baby Jack' who gets mentioned quite regularly with no prompting. Baby Jack is normally female, although very occasionally changes sex for the weekend (probably very useful if you ask me!). Baby Jack is so 'real' that I had to go back up the veg department in Sainsbury's and pick her off the floor for ds so we didn't leave her behind. She first appeared about 3 or 4 months ago, just around the time that I would have been expecting. Weird or what? Any thoughts?
