Hi all!!

Wondered if I could join. I was due today, I did a test this morning and it was faint positive. Then i took the clear blue late morning, do we think these are positives or evap? I have been quite crampy but not sure if this was the same with my first!!

Thank you so much everyone in advance Star

@somanystars yeah it could be implantation, maybe wait two more days and then test, if so hcg would be at detectable level.
Fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞

frolicmum · 21/08/2020 13:12

Starting my TWW as of today I would say 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

somanystars · 21/08/2020 13:07

Sooo I just noticed some (TMI) very very slightly blood tinged stretchy CM.... at 11DPO that could be implantation right?? Def thought I was out but not so sure now 👀

MrsBmaybebaby · 21/08/2020 09:47

@abitfunny ah right, maybe it's that. I think I read if the line is grey its evap but if there is any colour in it that signals hcg (because of the way the test reacts with traces of hcg). fingers crossed you'll get some great news on Sunday!

samantha06 · 21/08/2020 09:26

@kc91

Thankyou! i do think it would be unlikely to get 2 false positives from 2 different tests, but did make me wonder haha.
Im pretty sure it is, but will test again in a few days x

Monday55 · 21/08/2020 09:17

@abitfunny what does a positive result looks like on that test ? because I can definitely see a cross, which could mean positive Shock

Kc91 · 21/08/2020 09:12

@samantha06 there is definitely a line you can’t deny that!!
Digitals are less sensitive try a frer but for me the other one is a clear indicator that you’ve just got your bfp 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Fingers crossed for you!!!!

somanystars · 21/08/2020 08:53

Ah thank you everyone 😊 I guess you just see people getting BFPs on FRERs at 9DPO and think that if that's not you then you're out! I've no more HPTs left in the house now which is probably for the best, just going to wait for AF to show her face now.

@abitfunny Sounds like it! I think I'm due tomorrow, but I've only been off hormonal BC for the last two months and my first cycle off it was 24 days, then 27 days last month, so it could still be changing (meaning I'll need to try really hard not to get too excited if AF doesn't come tomorrow 🤣).

Trying to be positive about it though. My new favourite hobby is one I can't do if I'm pregnant (rollerskating) so I'll get to do that for at least a couple more weeks and, as DH says, plenty more sex! We're going to cosy up and watch a movie tonight and got my little cat purring on my lap just now so it's not all bad 😊

samantha06 · 21/08/2020 08:21

@kg87 mean isnt it! Some googling & it seems the digital ones deffo arent as sensitive so irl retest monday probs as working all weekend!x

abitfunny · 21/08/2020 08:21

Thanks ladies for the encouragement. It’s one of those things you know you shouldn’t do but do it anyway?! @somanystars we must have similar cycles? When are you due AF?

@MrsBmaybebaby - I think that could be the evaporation line?! I’m going to do another one on Sunday x

Waitingforbabypage · 21/08/2020 08:20

Thanks @stepmumSW5, I'll take one to work with me to check.
It's only our first month trying, and I've only recently had my implant taken out so we're probably not going to be THAT lucky, I just feel like the info would be good to have 👍🏻

Shinea · 21/08/2020 08:10

@igloo92 @Kg87 @somanystars that gives me bit hope. But still I am in a state of not believing yet, I know i am being too anxious but thinking to wait till Monday to test again if AF doesn't show up yet 🤞🤞
Best of luck to everyone :)

Kg87 · 21/08/2020 08:03

@Shinea @samantha06 I can defo see lines! Congrats guys 🥳 although the digital one must not be as sensitive as the other one clearly shows a line!

@KirstySD that could be implantation bleeding! Sounds promising.

@BellaBella84 You're not alone, I have to put the vitamins in front of my husband in the evening and hand him a drink to force him to take them 😂

@abitfunny @somanystars I’m 11DPO too, did a test yesterday and this morning and both were stark white, but I could still be too early, I was fully expecting to wake up to AF today as I had lots of AF symptoms yesterday but not giving up hope yet!

MrsBmaybebaby · 21/08/2020 08:02

@abitfunny I don’t know much about pregnancy tests (first month!) but does that test show up as a cross if pregnant? If so, I don’t wish to be funny or that, but I feel like I can see a faint line there ? Bisecting the horizontal line?

Shinea · 21/08/2020 07:59

@somanystars you are not out until AF arrives!! All the best for you 🙂
I m still confused and scared about my tests, as last time when I got such faint line i had my periods very next day, so I am waiting to hold on tillAF( I havent shown my tests to DH yet )

samantha06 · 21/08/2020 07:58

@waitingforbabypage
I have no idea?! So annoying, im gona wait a few days before doing anymore tests.

@somanystars dont stress yet, my tests were negative the day before my missed period but faint positive on the day of my missed period!

igloo92 · 21/08/2020 07:56

@samantha06 @Shinea I definitely see those lines. Digitals are less sensitive, I think most people don't get positives on those till after af is due.

@somanystars @abitfunny you've both still got time before af is due so don't rule yourselves out yet. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞

@waitingforbabypage No, opks are best done in the afternoon as you usually get the LH rise in the morning so can miss it if you only use fmu.

stepmumSW5 · 21/08/2020 07:50

@abitfunny @somanystars You guys should wait at least a couple of days for AF to be proper delayed and take another test. You're not out until AF doesn't show up. X

stepmumSW5 · 21/08/2020 07:48

@Waitingforbabypage depends on the test I think. With CB I read fmu on the instructions but with the easy at home ones I test from 11am to 4pm waiting at least 3h without peeing to take a test. And I don't drink too much.

somanystars · 21/08/2020 07:45

@Shinea and @samantha06 I can definitely see both your lines!!! 🥳

Caved and used my other FRER this morning, 11DPO, BFN :( Pretty sure I'm out at this point as I'm due AF tomorrow! Feeling bleh, but hey, it was never that likely to happen first time!

Waitingforbabypage · 21/08/2020 07:42

Thanks @samantha06
There is deffo a line on that year by the way. No idea why the digital is saying negative. Why do they play with our emotions like this??!

samantha06 · 21/08/2020 07:37

@waitingforbabypage

They say first wee of the day as its the most concentrated 😊

Waitingforbabypage · 21/08/2020 07:36

Is it best to use first urine for an opk? Or a specific part of the day, I'm reading conflicting info on the web x

samantha06 · 21/08/2020 07:04

@abitfunny
Aw, dont let it deflate you, it could still be too early!
My period is a day late, i got negative test the day before, faint positive yesterday day of expected period, and my clear blue digital was negative this morning, but clear blue normal was another faint positive! Feeling really confused haha.
