TTC AUGUST (Fertile window mid august!)

@EmmaAM @Kg87 Looks like we're all on a similar timeline, I'm 1DPO and my AF is due 22 Aug 😊 Hoping for us all to be on here in a couple of weeks posting our BFPs 😁

Anyone have anything notable in the way of ovulation symptoms? I've become a bit obsessed with that since I got my peak as I'm absurdly worrying that I got the surge without actually ovulating. Got absolutely no basis for that worry of course 🤦🏻‍♀️ haha

@Kg87 I'm the same! I'm currently trying to take the relaxed approach for ovulation (just using Flo for now) as I feel I might stress myself out too much otherwise. The first time I ever came on here was an eye opener because I hadn't realised just how many different things could be tracked!

Wow @Beaglemum93 snap! AF due 28/29 August but mine have been up and down since DS was born. Apparently I am ovulating now so we will see. Worked quickly with #1 but not going to get too excited (she says)

4 months ago I couldn’t of cared less but now I’m obsessed haha! I’ve found the ovulation tracking the most difficult as my surge seems to last only a few hours so I missed it last month! How about you?

Hi @EmmaAM ! Looks like we’re in very similar situations! My FW finishes today and AF due on 23rd according to Flo. We’re also TTC on our third cycle for baby no 1!!

Hi guys, hope it is ok to join this chat! I'm currently on 3rd cycle TTC baby number 1. According to my Flo app, my FW finished yesterday and AF should be due on 21st. Would be really good to have people to share this journey with and fingers crossed we all start to get BFP soon 🤞🤞

Hello everyone! Hope it’s okay to join! We’re currently on 3rd cycle TTC baby no. 1. Just starting the TWW, I think I’m 1DPO as I had my LH surge on Sunday.

Does anyone else have extremely short LH surges? I had not even a squint of a line on the cheap OPKS all week then at around 11am Sunday I had a near peak, then a definite peak at 2pm then it was completely gone by 5pm!

Would love to find someone in the same boat as all I seem to find online are gradual LH surges and I’ve been thinking something is wrong with me!

So today my LH test % dropped to 36%. Yesterday it was 133% does this mean I have ovulated.

@somanystars my fiancé was exactly the same! I think he was shocked it didn't happen last month.

Definitely be optimistic! And enjoy it too I say! X

@beckyBP It's so funny because, before we started trying, he was so sure it was going to happen first time and we'd never have to worry, and I kept reminding him it's probably not going to happen that way etc. And now we're actually TTC, here's me thinking about maybe being pregnant this cycle on literally 0DPO haha.

The way I see it though is that yes it might take a few months or even longer than that, but might as well be optimistic that it won't 😁

@somanystars it is! I'm loosely trying to follow it without it being forced. Like if he's not feeling it tonight (he's had a tough day) there's no way I'm forcing it!

I totally get you! I was like that last month which was out first month trying. Turns out I had only just ovulated 😂😂

@beckyBP We're not following SMEP at the moment, I've seen a few people talking about it on here and it seems.... rigorous?? 🤣 Might look it up though!

We DTD Thur, Fri and Sun and I think we'll probably take a break today as OH wasn't feeling great earlier but I'm hoping to do it tomorrow as well for a final shot. Probably first cycle naivety but since I'm nearly at the end of FW now I keep walking around thinking, I might be pregnant! Not that I would be at this stage even if we had conceived but that doesn't stop me haha 😅

@Shinea @somanystars if you follow SMEP I think you should DTD today, tomorrow (ovulation day) the next, then a break and once again on the day after.. i think that's right xx

@Shinea Yeah, they say 12-36 hours I think from when you get your peak :)

This is my first cycle using OPKs. Please help me with the results.
So it's showing peak today means I will be ovulating tomorrow?

@somanystars yeah looks like :) it's my 4th cycle of TTC and already feels like forever in the loop of tracking, testing and on.

@somanystars and @beckyBP even mine showed peak today with 125% at today noon 12 pm. And app says I will ovulate tomorrow so when is it better to do DTD? Today or tomorrow?

Just got my static smiley this morning in the middle of writing a message on another thread saying I wasn't expecting to get one now hahaha. Typical!

So, does that mean ov is likely to be tomorrow?

These have shown my peak clearly

Af should be due around 20th but may be off as I had an early miscarriage last month

Hmm, so just in the last hour or so I've noticed a bit of nipple sensitivity. Over the two cycles before we started TTC when I wasn't on any hormonal BC, I had the same thing around this time in my cycle and assumed it meant I'd ovulated. So seems like maybe I did miss my peak after all!

Decided to be bold and enter today as my ov day on Ovia lol. I'll still do one more CBD tomorrow morning but I'm reasonably sure now that I've ovulated!

Just done another CBD, another flashing smiley 😩 Gonna test again tomorrow and then just accept that I've missed knowing the exact day haha! At least I know I'm covered anyway.
