@EmmaAM @Kg87 @samantha06
Good luck to you all this month!

I've had a flashing smiley on my clearblue since yesterday - first month I've used them but didn't think it'd be quite as soon. On CD9, I'm also using Ovia and tearing my hair out with it tbh. Every time I add a symptom it moves everything on by a day 🤦🏼‍♀️

EmmaAM · 19/08/2020 12:52

@somanystars I feel very much the same as you right now! The TWW wait seems to have really hit me hard this month compared to the previous two and my hormones seem to be all over the place 🙈 ended up hysterically crying last night when my husband told me to try and not get my hopes up too much. I know he's right and he's only trying to help but even so 😂

Kg87 · 19/08/2020 12:42

@samantha06 good luck! Hoping it’s a BFP for you in the next couple of days 🥳 my periods were all over the place when I stopped and then they were regular for about 4 months, then I started Pregnacare as I saw good reviews and now they’re messed up again, I think I’ll just stick with folic acid until BFP as I’m too scared to mess up my cycle again haha

samantha06 · 19/08/2020 12:21

@kg87 oh how exciting! Not long to wait!
Since stopping the pill in March my periods have been super regular to the day, so i think irl wait to see if AF arrives tomorrow and if not irl test Friday!
Ive also put mine in the outside bin so i wont get it out haha.
Ive been taking seven seas trying for a baby vitamins, had such good reviews online, 4 months so far for me and still no BFP haha.🤷‍♀️

Kg87 · 19/08/2020 12:16

@samantha06 haha I chucked mine too coz I kept getting out the box and staring at it 😅 Well i usually have 25 day cycles so AF should have visited 2 days ago but I ovulated 1 week late this month (I think due to Pregnacare conception) so it’s pushed my AF due date to Monday 24th Aug on my Flo app so it could be any day now, purposely wearing light underwear all week to check for implantation bleeding or AF lol. When are you going to test again?

samantha06 · 19/08/2020 11:58

@kg87 its super annoying, ive binned the test now if i looked at it one more time i was gona go crazy haha. Im going to have to wait and see if AF visits tomorrow and then to from there. Hopfully i just ovulated late or somthing lol. When is AF due for you x

Kg87 · 19/08/2020 11:55

@somanystars ahh I know how you feel, I was exactly the same yesterday! Just got to keep positive thoughts in your head, not many will get a BFP this early on so try again in a couple of days 😊

@samantha06 oh it’s so difficult to see isn’t it! Mine looked like that yesterday and I kept thinking I could see a line 😞

samantha06 · 19/08/2020 11:16

@somanystars

Thanks everyone! Mood has just gone totally downhill and now I'm feeling rotten 😩 Just want to go back to bed. Keep having loads of super negative thoughts (stupid stuff like "my hair isn't that nice") and even wanted to cry when cuddling my youngest cat because she was purring and I just love her so much 😂 Definitely something hormonal going on. Guess time will tell whether it's the hormonal thing that I want or not!
Sorry to hear about you BFN, but it is still early hang in there!

I tested this morning also, AF due tomorrow and i had some clear blue early detection tests (6 days before period) at first im sure it was negative now im sure i can see a super duper really faint line... but also wondering if are my eyes playing tricks on me!

anyone else got good line eyes? lol.

thanks ladies

Pinkiii · 19/08/2020 10:15

Woah sorry don’t know what happened to my spelling. I meant your BFN Blush

Pinkiii · 19/08/2020 10:15

@somanystars sorry for BFNA, its still Very Early days so there is hope.

Kg87 · 19/08/2020 10:11

@somanystars yeah me too! If I’m out I just want to know ASAP so I can stop thinking about it lol. I know what you mean, I feel like I might be out too, mainly because I took another 2 OPKs and they seem to be getting lighter/staying the same, I think they get darker if it’s detecting HCG. I was really down yesterday when in got BFN so I’m going to hold off testing as long as poss! This acne is out of control! I have 5 under the skin achey spots 🙈

MrsBmaybebaby · 19/08/2020 10:02

@somanystars sorry to hear about your BFN but fingers crossed it’s still early and you get a positive soon!!!

Symptom spotting alert - I’ve been having tingling type mild pains across my lower abdomen today (4-6DPO?), anyone know what this means?

somanystars · 19/08/2020 09:50

@Kg87 Haha I hope I don't have to wait that long to know either way! I used to see people on here back when I was lurking who would test quite early, get a BFN and say they feel like they're out and think - well, that's silly, they've got ages left! But I do kind of feel like I might be out 🤣 I don't know, not feeling so positive today, a bit deflated.

Kg87 · 19/08/2020 09:22

@somanystars ahh no sorry to hear that! As you say it’s still early and some people don’t get a BFP until 14-16DPO so fingers crossed! I didn’t test today but I might test again on Friday morning.

somanystars · 19/08/2020 08:42

BFN on FRER this morning :( But, still only 9DPO lol. Was originally going to test again on Friday but think I'll wait until Saturday now if I can. Thought my boob pain had disappeared but it's back a bit this morning, which I think is a good sign...? Not feeling half as sure anymore though 😅

Kg87 · 19/08/2020 07:50

@somanystars I know exactly what you mean, I keep logging a symptom and hoping Flo tells me something other than I’m tired 😂 I think I will also relax next cycle too if it doesn’t happen this time, I’ve worked myself up too much this month and if it’s going to take months I can’t be permanently stressed!

Pinkiii · 19/08/2020 07:37

I’m trying not to jump to conclusions with my symptoms! Been having cramping which I don’t usually get even with periods. Also having boob pain but get that frequently haha

Testing day seems so far away!

Waitingforbabypage · 18/08/2020 23:36

Isn't it funny how we still get so down and upset about AF arriving even if we know we're expecting her? I had my implant removed and fully expected AF a few days later but when she did show, I was gutted even though we hadn't even dtd!

Hubs has been on a complete mission, jumping on me every chance he gets, let's hope he keeps it up through my ovulation window!! (Absolutely no pun intended!!)

somanystars · 18/08/2020 22:03

@MrsBmaybebaby Oh gosh really? I actually drink quite a lot of peppermint tea as I'm prone to a bit of nausea... will have to remember that post-BFP when the morning sickness rolls around 😬

Ah I know, I feel the same. I already know I'll be gutted if AF arrives this weekend so I can't imagine going through that month after month.

Easier said than done, but if this isn't my cycle I'm going to try to relax a bit about it all next time as I don't think it's good for my stress levels being on such high alert for symptoms all the time!

MrsBmaybebaby · 18/08/2020 21:49

@somanystars I just googled it and whaddya know?!? Peppermint tea possibly not good for first trimester. I’m taking that as google invalidating me!

Yes I’m not expecting first time lucky either, I feel heart sorry for everyone trying for a long time, it’s such a primal feeling to want a child that I can only imagine how hard it is when AF comes Sad just realising what a tricky journey this can turn out to be, and everyone make it look so simple!

somanystars · 18/08/2020 21:45

@MrsBmaybebaby Ah that made me smile!! 😊 I hope it does too!

It's my first month as well so I know it's unlikely I'll be one of the lucky few to catch first time but you never know! 😁 But yeah, I suppose Google is the place you go to to validate your every symptom 🤣

MrsBmaybebaby · 18/08/2020 21:41

@somanystars even though this is my first month doing this, yes I would absolutely like an app that validates everything I say “oooh yes you absolutely could be pregnant because you fancied a peppermint tea after lunch” Grin here’s hoping your spot blossoms into a baby!!!!

somanystars · 18/08/2020 21:37

Hi new arrivals and hopefully good luck all round 😊

Anyone else do that thing of logging a symptom (I use Ovia) and then being disappointed if the app doesn't specifically say that it might be related to pregnancy... even when you know? 🤣 Just noticed an under the skin spot on my chin so logged it as acne and then it came up with "You logged acne." Like, I know acne could mean anything but I still want to be encouraged in my symptom spotting lol

MrsBmaybebaby · 18/08/2020 21:31

Hi @bez91 and @choccychar, I have just joined too! Fingers crossed for some positive tests for everyone this month Smile I am 3-5 DPO (not sure exactly owing to the menace that was the copper coil!) and definitely in symptom spotter category. I can’t believe how bonkers this whole process makes you Shock I have a tight feeling across my lower abdomen and some bubbly like twinges, but I’m pretty sure I could have them every month for all I know and not have picked up on it before (not the most perceptive!) wishing you all lots of good luck xxx
