kirstygem All sounds good, so fingers crossed for this month

Well with regards to the whole 'orgasm theory' if you have multiple does that equal twins

Joking or course

kirstygem · 19/10/2007 13:48

Lots of BDing here as hopefully ovulating over last couple days. Going to see my Mum in Scotland for week from tomorrow without DH so last chance tonight for this month.
Had quite lot of ov cramps last couple nights

I want a baby. I'd quite like two actually and then only have to go through labour once or twice. Labour scares the bijaysus out of me.

Screaminglips · 19/10/2007 11:47

queenofbleach - im secretly hoping for a boy this time but if i have a girl then i still love her as much as my DD

QueenofBleach · 19/10/2007 11:35

Also the ovulatuion clander that I looked at said that you are fertile for around six days, so if want a girl you need to BD the first three days and a boy the 2nd three days, girl sperm slower swimmers apparently and need a head start

QueenofBleach · 19/10/2007 11:33

I had DD with sex and no orgasm, DH jumped me when we were pissed after just moving house . TEW due in the next couple of days although I was 5 days late last month but had all the crampy signs of which none this month so fingers crossed.

Screaminglips · 19/10/2007 11:21

Had the coil taken out on Tues.....now ive got fresh small light red period.....had my period come already!!! as i did have brown spotting on the same day as when i had the coil taken out

oh and other - what is Bd'd???

Shazza2002 · 19/10/2007 10:31

I also have a DD from Sex with orgasm, so it does indeed sound like a pile of !

What is more worrying, sex with no orgasm. Although my DP does tell me I am a very selfish lover, so I tell him I'm doing him a favour, that way he always has a challenge, and after 9 years he must love it else he would have been out the door by now.

Easier to feel positive on a friday .

Well I'm CD31 today, 1st cycle off pill so just waiting for AF to arrive. Wish she'd hurry up so I can start new month (which is new hope as somebody said!)

ladylush · 19/10/2007 10:29

Agree missus - the cynical emoticon doesn't quite cut it

MissusH · 19/10/2007 10:10

Hi All, didn't have much chance to post yesterday so just catching up.

Lol at the non-orgasmic conceiving. Shame MN hasn't a WTF emoticon Load of old tripe if you ask me - I had a dd with the aid of orgasms

There seems to be positive vibes on here this morning which is a good thing

ladylush · 19/10/2007 08:55

mtw - so frustrating when they tell you it's just bad luck isn't it. Glad your dd disproves the theory re. that site

07mumstheword · 19/10/2007 08:37

I had an orgasm and a DD so that blows that theory for me!

Went to Doctors yesterday and as I expected she said my two Chemical Pregnancies are just incredibly bad luck. She said that if I have another one they will do some simple blood tests to check everything is ok. So I just have to be positive.

ladylush · 18/10/2007 22:54

I know excitable - check out the babydust site. Must've been designed by a bloke Looking at the bit for conceiving a boy, the option is not there much either. I know ttc sex can be rather clinical but honestly

graciemac · 18/10/2007 20:19

I'm with you DG and thanks for the great advice har - just going to relax next month and do whatever feels right.
Easier said than done - i'm sure i'll be twitching like a lunatic by cd12!
Symptom spotting update - slight nausea and wind (it was the first thing i noticed with dd1)!
Going away for a week tomorrow. AF due sometime around the middle of the week so I'll fill you in as soon as i'm back next sat. Here's hoping

Excitable · 18/10/2007 20:17

Surely this can't be true. Looks like DH isn't going to get his little girl then...

Humph. No orgasms indeed. Excitable walks away muttering....

ladylush · 18/10/2007 19:01

I was reading stuff from an ovulation calendar site and frankly I am amazed. It states if a girl baby is wanted the woman should not have an orgasm. I expect to have an orgasm whenever I have sex so I'm quite

spookykitty · 18/10/2007 14:52

Niece and DD2 asleep, DD1 reading In the Night Garden magazine so I'm on here it's freezing here today.

Aww excitable it sucks when your job isn't going well (((hugs))) for you, my job used to be like that sometimes I still have rotten days being a SHM bt at least I am here with the LOs.

minnow - thanks yes looks like I am normal too, for the two DDs we had sex CD11 and CD18, thought first time too early, second time too late. Only with the last pregnancy did we time it for ovulation, womens bodies don't always read the book though.

DG - sounds like a plan it worked for Loneytunes

SK your post got me thinking.....

Found this on Clearblue website:

Women have cycle lengths that vary and the most common cycle length is somewhere between 23 and 35 days long. Any variation in cycle length that does occur is usually during the part of the cycle before you ovulate (follicular phase). Most women then have 12?16 days between ovulating and starting their next period (luteal phase).

I also saw another website that said luteal phase can be 10-16 days - looks like we are normal!

Must stop now and do some work!

digitalgirl · 18/10/2007 14:26

If I don't fall this cycle (and let's face it, CD41 is not looking good for me), then I will definitely be chilling out next cycle. No ov sticks, no thinking about the right days. Just having sex when we feel like it. The only thing is my cycles are so long I don't know when I'm supposed to start thinking about testing...

Minnow1 · 18/10/2007 14:05

My cycles have been between 30 and 39 days since coming off pill in April. Last month I had positive ov test on CD19 and AF on CD30. Positive ov test on CD19 again this month.....

Excitable · 18/10/2007 14:00

Aw thanks SK

I'm just a bit down because of all the crying at work today. Can't take much more of this place.

spookykitty · 18/10/2007 13:51

aww excitable your only cycle 3 honey don't get bored it could take that long for the pill to get out your system and everything to start up again you know

foghorn - any sign of AF for you?

spookykitty · 18/10/2007 13:49

hi sorry not been about my neice is staying so no time on the pc for me, got a positive on the ebay opks this morning CD15 as before, BDed last night won't tonight one last try on Friday. On a 27 day cycle I think ovulating CD15 is late?

For those worrying about only BDing once a month, I have two "once a month" BFPs sitting watching TV on the sofa right now only takes the once, I have said to DP maybe we are doing it too much!

minnow - I could have written your post as well, this is my second cycle ttc after mc and I will be gutted if I'm not pregnant this month, last two pregnancies were first month of trying. I try not to think about it but I should be about 19 weeks now coming up to the sex scan, it's hard and being pregnant again would ease it a lot.

MissusH - sorry about the EW getting you, loads of wine this weekend think about ttc next week again, new cycle new hope of a BFP!

Abbevillemum - I know what you mean I would rather see AF than another BFN and no AF just to spite you
