Thanks for all your messages. I was all ready to read that you'd all told me not to be so silly, as DH is doing. But thank you for saying it all could mean something, as much as it could mean nothing.

Deffo testing today as I might rip someone's face off in frustration if I don't allow myself to test!! (Just developing that image "Face ripping time" screams excitable as she leaps for someone's face in the office...) Might as well make my life easy and just take the test.

That's really sad about both the cats. I've got two cats - a really fat soppy ginger and white one and a tiny dark tabby with half a tail - both boys. Emmsy - you're not alone - my friend ran over his cat too and it was awful - they kept him alive at the vets for a fortnight before he and his wife decided that it was just cruel to carry on like that. Oh, we all cried about that one. Thinking about them makes me put my life into perspective.

Thanks for your messages I'm not that today was worse yesterday. Just wish AF would go away.

Sorry if I have offended anybody with my comments, obviously falling PG is a lot more important than remembering an umbrella, that's the problem with these forums, sometimes things come across not how they're meant .

ladylush Regarding your flight dilemma, I am a strong believer in 'sods law'. In that if you book the flights you will fall PG, if you don't book them you will still be TTC.
Things like this always seem to happen to me. Like I can carry an umbrella around for months and the sun will shine, I forget it today cause I'm sick of it weighing my bag down and look what happens, yes absolutely soaking .

Thanks exitable I feel so much better about the situation now as DH explained he only did it out of concern. I hadn't thought about the fact that he really has no one to talk to about it so must be difficult for him too.

It's soo difficult to forget about testing I would probably be doing exactly the same as you. I really hope to read later that you have a BFP. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you.

I've just been catching up with the weekends X Factor as I was away. It's so emotional I've been in floods. I actually feel better for a good old cry though!

My temp dropped this morning so it looks as though I will probably come on in a few days, bit as chinese calendar predicted a girl for me.
libralady sorry about your cat Unless you have pets some people don't realize how much you can grieve over them when you lose them, they really do become a big part of the family, I lost my cat last August, he ran under the wheels of "MY CAR" when I was reversing up our drive!

My Ds still has his rash but its fading in colour, God knows what was wrong with him, think its mother nature's way to make you stay "grounded" and try to focus more on what you have got instead of what else you want! (I'm still hooked on getting pregnant again!

Morning all. Got in a bit of a tizzy last night. This is really silly and might make you laugh.

I'd decided to hold out testing for a week after AF was due and wrote lots of brave things on the 2ww thread about women have been doing this for hundreds of years with testing kits, etc, etc. Then broke down when I got home. Been sooooo tired for about 10 days now, it's starting to affect my decision making ability. (Cue everyone with DC shouting "wait till you have kids - THEN you'll know about tired!!) Anyway, after a very hard conversation with DH, who says I should try not to think about it for a while - ha! I've decided to test on CD28, which is tomorrow.

I've convinced myself that I'm pregnant now, I know I have. And I have no evidence at all really, because symptoms could equally mean that AF is coming. But I know I'll be disappointed if I'm not. This is much harder than last month.

Have arranged a day of soft cheeses, coffee and wine if I get a BFN, but really nervous about this.

BUT I went to a concert last night after the Appollo, and although I'm KNACKERED now, I feel great. If I can't feel energetic, I can at least feel tired and happy

MTW I would be angry at my DH talking to doctors about me, but he doesn't have MN and I suspect can't talk about it with his mates, so I guess if he was going to tell someone, I guess a doctor is the sensible option. Sounds to me like he got the information the doctor gave him a little bit muddled up, cos the guys aren't experts on this stuff like we are. Sounds like he loves you very much and wanted to help in his own way! Just went about it in a funny way.

Ladylush if it was me, I'd book the ticket to Belize and cancel it later if you need to, if you can afford it. TTC doesn't mean that your life has to stop and sometimes it's good to have a distraction.

libralady we also went to Alton Towers and i felt totally the same way about the rides, was kinda pleased to know beforehand that was not pregnant so could fully enjoy the rides!! (which i did!)

They become part of the family don't they. I remember crying for days when our beloved family cat died at 18. Horrible news on your birthday/anniversary. Am going to book an appointment with her to work on the conception issue, and just to relax for an hr!!

KD73 - my last cycle was 41 days and this cycle I ov'ed (according to the opk) on CD21 (as bucky mentioned), which means the absolute latest I'll be due AF is the day after CD37. My EWCM has been all over the place this cycle, I even got some today (CD31). I'd just keep bd'ing as often as you can. If you want to keep on with the opk's it might help reassure you when you get a positive (as it did with me), but it's so easy to miss a surge even if you do them everyday.

By the way, your EWCM can turn up five days before you ov! Means your SUPERFERTILE.

Bucky - good news on getting the now go get BDing for that BFP, hopefully you won't need the other 6 sticks

Abbevillemum - I'm the same last month EWCM, ov pain. on opks, good load of timed BDing still BFN, this month I'm at least pretending to be relaxed about it, no opks and I'm not peeing on anything until Halloween as I tested too early last time got a BFN got down about it.

KD - would agree with Bucky just keep up the regular BDing, maybe buy another pack of opks as you may be ovulating later than you think.

I have never got a postive on an opk
so I am giving up on my lot as a bad lot and am trusting the EWCM, BD every chance I get, also got pains the other day which I think would be ovulation ones and I checked my cervix. Couldn't find it so figured that I was doing ok.
But, still and worried that I never get a positive on an opk.
Then again, I was not using them everyday, just when I thought the timing was right.
Which, after all those checks, really should have been the other day
So I officially give up on them and will trust all the rest.I didn't need them last time....
