OP posts:
bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 14:08

Thanks.

Help......how do I find out when I'm due??? My mind is racing and I can't stay calm long enough to work out how I get a rough idea?

CD1 was 17th September and no idea when ovulated????

Also.....should I be worried that ds had chicken pox that started on CD5?

Shazza2002 · 16/10/2007 13:57

Congratulations BSL That is great news. The BFP's are starting to roll in again.

It seems to happen that way with most things, once you stop worrying things just work out, easier said than done as everybody on this thread knows!!

Right, who's next?.

FoghornLeghorn · 16/10/2007 13:53

I'm only showing restraint because tests haven't arrived in post yet thanks to bloody Royal Mail and am so far refusing to spend money on more. I will hold out until they arrive

..... but I am sooooooooooooooo tempted

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 13:47

Thanks

Foghorn - I had EVERY symptom with ds when just 1 week pg - this time, nothing really, just odd tingle of boobs atm!

07mumstheword · 16/10/2007 13:24

Congratulations BSL

FHLH Your restraint is admirable. If I was CD28 I'd probably test! Hope to hear great news over the next couple of days though

FoghornLeghorn · 16/10/2007 13:18

Der ! CD28.
I had every symptom uner the sun with DD1 but not a thing with DD2

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 13:14

Thanks everyone, I just can't believe it. I don't feel pregnant but I have been tearful and tired and I did have a couple of days I felt sick in the morning the week before last.

Foghorn - well, I don't have symptoms really so....??? Also, you didn't put what CD you're on

Right, back to the kiddies.....now I have to think about how I'll tell my mindees parents when the 3 months come! I'm going to ask Dr for a dating scan because both periods post pill have been VERY light and only lasted about 2 days and I know with pg before ds (mc), I had a period the first month of being pg so didn't know I was further gone.

FoghornLeghorn · 16/10/2007 13:09

Congrats Har and Looney

Not been around for a while - am on CD today, cycles were always 28 days but that was regulated by pill. Should I test or should I wait it out ? DH says test, I say wait it out.
Have no symptoms whatsoever !

Meant to ask before does anyone do anything in particular to help the little swimmers after BDing eg lying with legs in air? Cant believe am actually asking this but that why Mumsnet is so great you can ask things you never would in RL

MissusH · 16/10/2007 12:48

Woohoo cycle buddy Looney !!!!! Congrats, congrats

No sign of TEW here either - makes me want to dash to the chemist on my way home!!!

(my iron will is faltering now...)

kirstygem · 16/10/2007 12:41

Congratulations Looney, feeling scared and not ready for it is perfectly normal even if you had of been expecting a BFP.

I embarking on a big week of BDing as on CD9 now and going away to Scotland for a week this Friday without DH. Hopefully will ov this week or will miss the window of opportunity while away. The plus side is that DH is very willing this week as he gets a break from my demands next week

digitalgirl · 16/10/2007 12:34

OMG! That's incredible news looney. Very pleased for you!!!

pixie04 · 16/10/2007 12:31

Sorry BSL cross posted.

Congratulations!

pixie04 · 16/10/2007 12:29

Just thought I'd pop in and say Congrats to Har and wave to all the other ladies. I'm a bit of a lurker on this thread and very rarely post as I can never seem to keep up with this thread it moves so quick!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 16/10/2007 12:26

OMFG..........I'm pregnant!!! Some of you knew I wasn't expecting this til next year due to what I was told and now I'm all scared and not ready for it - is that normal???? 2 VERY strong lines half hour ago on not early morning wee. I can't believe it. I feel all over the place about it which is silly as I was deperate to start with. Well.....the relaxing and forgetting about ttc obviously worked!!

digitalgirl · 15/10/2007 22:37

har thanks for looking out for me! have got much more AF-like cramps now.

Yes sk these long cycles are getting frustrating. I thought I was a 30 dayer, but last two were 37 and 41, so I guess I'm a 5-6 weeker.
I've only been on MN since July, but even I find myself going over old posts (mainly to cross check symptoms I'm having now with last cycle). It must be like having a diary, but even better because, not only can you be totally honest, but you get feedback when you're confused and support when you're down. And also a place to celebrate when oyu've got a happy secret!

[dg waves to josey] hope the pg is going well!

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 22:36

hey Josey it's nice to see you

the no3 announcement I kind of knew about that didn't make me cry but the other two did and it was happy tears, seems like such a lifetime ago, I printed out my birth announcement thread and the Due in Aug 04 thread and put them in DD1's box must do the same for DD2.

Seems like a lifetime ago I was sitting in an office in London wondering when I would "feel" pregnant, how my life has changed and here I am the woman who never ever wanted children a SAHM desperate for number 3

Har · 15/10/2007 22:29

Thanks Josey I will! And the babydust was beautiful. Let's hope it brings on lots more graduates!

josey · 15/10/2007 22:27

sorry why is it my bloody baby dust never works out right arrrrrrrrh

ps SK i did the same today its very weird it felt as though I was reading about another person, someone form my Aug 05 thread printed out all there posts as a reminder of there PG I wish I had the time or patience

josey · 15/10/2007 22:24

Congrats Har come on over

due in june

hope your all doing ok have been keeping an eye on the thread, wishing you all lots of luck - hears to loads more BFPs

* BABYDUST ***

Har · 15/10/2007 22:18

Oh wow, SK, going through those memories must have been so strange. The sadness mixed in with the amazing joy.

Can't seem to find the due in June thread. Is it called that?

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 22:03

Just been searching old messages found my announcement for the BFP with the one I lost

but found my thread on the live test I did with DD2 (It's called waiting for the Clearblue digital display to clear so I can retest, I messed the first one up, second one was BFP

also found my first ever post on MN 12th Jan 2004 just after I had my first scan with DD1 (at 9 weeks suspected mc) I was saying I had seen my baby wriggling on the screen, that little thing is now a 3 year old madam!

I feel all fuzzy and tearful now.

spookykitty · 15/10/2007 21:32

Har - have you joined the Due in June thread yet? Antenatal threads are great, there will be a mix of first timers and second third etc timers so if you have a question chances are so will someone else and one of the oldies will probably answer it for you.

abbevillemum - I know it's really difficult as you want a baby so bad (I feel the same) but it will happen might just take a little longer, doesn't stop you feeling when AF turns up though

DG - wow those long cycles must be so frustrating have you always had long cycles?

Har · 15/10/2007 21:19

Am going to check everyone's news tomorrow morning but just wanted to check in and see if strange-cm buddy digital had any news. Have been waiting for you to reappear. How have you been staying away?!

Thanks so much for the congratulations , I am so happy and excited and just praying that all goes as it should do (am now symptom spotting in a bad way... and google is still my downfall). Lol at big school! It does feel like that though doesn't it, just posted my first thread there. Miss this thread though. Was very happy when Spookykitty popped in!

Am still hopeful for you as you have such long cycles. Are you still having cramps. Any other symptoms? but about limp racehorse!
