TTC after MC - August 2020 (Thread 9)

Thank you @Pugprincess and @Firevie, that means a lot. I am hoping to test around the 14th if no AF. Ovulating at least helps me feel "normal", so even if I do get AF I will at least know where I stand.

I spent so much money on pregnancy tests last month, going to try and not do the same this time .

@scrambledeggy a loss is a loss no matter how far. You still experienced that level of happiness from a positive test and no doubt pictured the future and feel robbed like we all do. A few of us are in the tww so come join us. Xx

Morning all @VP91x I've brought some CB kits first time using them as always brought the cheapies and haven't tracked ovulation in about 8 months cos OH told me I was a mad woman 😂 be interesting to see what's going on and if I get a smiley 😀 enjoy Lego land xx

@Northernsoul90 thanks. I like cleaning so I will no doubt do some of that too. My fish tank needs a water change so I can do that. I need to nip chemist for our prescriptions. Dog will need his walk. I’ve just ordered a tub of masonry paint from Wilko that I’ve been after but can’t find instores. We have bricks painted around our windows, flaking and look unsightly, plus magnolia when I’m doing the grey/white thing. Got the dishwasher arriving Thursday this week to focus on but it’s not being installed until Saturday. There’s always bits of gardening to do too. My nails need painting and my toes lol. Lots to do but it’s getting myself going. Still in my pjs at the moment lol, need to get up and make a cup of tea and get myself going. X

@Pugprincess don't be so hard on yourself, you have been through a really hard time and it's natural for us to all clutch at straws and get ourself a in a state. Our bodies and heads our our own worse enemies at times. Also you are still not out xx

Hi everyone, not sure if I'm supposed to be posting here, as I only had a chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks, but here goes. I had my chemical a few weeks ago. It was my first ever month TTC, so was pretty miffed, and my cycle is now really out of whack to boot!

On the upside, I appear to have ovulated already (peak OPK, temperature up) , and I'm now what I think is 3 to 4 DPO. Wishing everyone on this thread the best of luck, please keep your fingers crossed for me!

@Pugprincess You haven't gone mad this month, please don't be hard on yourself. You still aren't out yet and like you said over half way through tww 😊. Early testing is one of those things that we have all done/do, I've driven myself round the bend with it a few times which is why I'm determined to stick it out this time. We are all in this together whether we pee on 50 sticks or 1 🤣. Have you got anything planned today to keep you distracted maybe? I'm going to clean my house from top to bottom which I'm hoping will keep my mind busy xxx

Morning everyone. I’m 8dpo now. So over the halfway mark until AF. Think it will start by Sunday/Monday. I’ve still been getting some faint lines on the one steps and seem to be slightly better with an afternoon urine than fmu at the moment?! I give up now cause like @Rb486 says it’s a head fuck. I won’t do it again. I was always really good at just waiting to see if AF came, partly because it always did so I didn’t see much point in testing. Obviously me getting preg last time and the thought of being more fertile after mc gave me massive new hopes and I’m just desperate for it to work because I really don’t want to go back to years of trying or fertility treatment 💔 Maybe on some level I needed to go mad this month as part of my grieving process. I’m sure if AF comes I will learn from this and not repeat it because I just can’t live like this every month. I probably just needed to go through the motions this month and get it out my system if that makes sense. Thanks for being patient with me guys. Xx

@Rb486 I agree! it's hard to wait but I don't want to put myself through it. I've told myself I'm going to wait until Saturday and if af doesn't appear then test 🤞🏼

@Northernsoul90 try and wait until at least 12dpo I’d say. Faint lines are head fuck!! Lol, look forward to your result though! 😃

@SmileyT Glad that we could all be here for you, so pleased that all went well. I think I will do something similar when I get a bfp and have scans in intervals to try and keep my mind at rest. It's good that OH can attend the other scans with you as well! Xx

@VP91x ohhh we love legoland, I always use my Clubcard vouchers for there, saves me loads of money. Let me know what it's like with the changes. The beach was lovely, we went across to the fair too, I'm shattered today though. Thankfully only working until 10.30 as my youngest has a hospital appointment xx

@VP91x yes af greeted me last night, a day early. Must have been eager 😡 lol! 33 day cycle though which isn’t bad. Better than before m/c actually. So I’m ditching the OPKs, eating well and keeping busy!

@VP91x @SmileyT yeah I'm sure it's fine. Just after all the peaks I hoped it wouldn't play with my mind. Hopefully on the home straight of this cycle but time will tell.

@SmileyT I'm so glad everything was ok and that we were able to be there for you. I hope you're feeling on cloud 9 this morning (as much as is possible on a hot tube). Not too long until the next scan and you should be able to see so much more. So happy and excited for you xx

@VP91x have fun we ❤️ Legoland but 4 hour drive for us so we have to plan, but on the plus side my boys are going to their dads today so I’m taking a trip to ikea on my own so I can spend as much time browsing as I like 🎉🎉🎉 I have a big list but no doubt fake plants and candles will end up in my trolly 🤣🤣 xx

@SmileyT @MichT4 @VP91x thanks for all your responses! Makes sense and will obv keep temping to see what’s going on. Will probably be around 36 but in the higher range as per ovulation I was between 36.20-36.40. Hope everyone has a great day today ladies! Xx

@MichT4 temp is still higher so I wouldn't worry and just see how it plays out, my chart first month after MC temps weren't as stable as normal which makes sense as hormones may be slightly out of whack of normal x

Thanks again for all your positive messages yesterday, this thread is the only place I shared my concerns because it's the first place I posted after the MC and where I feel most safe ☺️ I have booked another scan for 3weeks time as that will take me past my previous MC date and OH can't attend dating scan so seemed like the right thing. @Runnergirl1 my MC was 19th March and I'm now 7weeks pg so I caught on the 4th cycle x

@Rb486 sorry it was a BFN yesterday but I'm glad you have a plan for next month, staying relaxed and not putting pressure on DTD could be exactly what you need x

@Firevie post ovulation temps should be higher than pre-ovulation temps, some people's rise over a few days and then balance out as long as they stay higher if they bounce around a bit up there it isn't a concern x
