TTC after MC - August 2020 (Thread 9)

@Rebecca1992 how mad is that, I've got some cm but that's it and I wouldn't put that down as a symptom yet as it's too early. My periods were irregular before so it's hard to know what they are re going to be like over the next few months. Just have to hope I fall sooner rather than later. Both mc I've had, I had a really strong feeling they were boys so I personally think I just can't carry boys. Not sure if that's even a thing xx

@Pugprincess that's bad about your work. Luckily it's what you were going to do anyway and you have something else lined up.
Why can't you wear tampons first cycle?

@Northernsoul90 sorry to hear about the AF feels. You never know though, still have everything crossed for you. What day is it due? I know you've said before - sorry!

@Pugprincess It is almost like ptsd youre right 😣. I was trying for about 5/6 months for baby number 1 before mc then fell pregnant in April, mc in June. I had the mva done on the 8th June and no period since so counting day of mva as CD1 I would be on cd58 now 😵. I didn't get a negative hpt for 6 weeks though then ovulated a few days after that. I'm 12dpo now so af is due tomorrow or Friday (going off ovulation). Prior to mc my cycles were around 31/32 days and I would ovulate on day 19/20 so slightly longer than average although they had only just got back into some kind of rhythm after being on the pill for 10 years. Xx

@Northernsoul90 it’s really hard to see it arrive. But when I fell I had cramps as if af was coming as it wasn’t? So could be that. Your not out until it comes but sometimes you can just tell it’s coming can’t you. My first period after MC I didn’t have any cramps but I’m just on my second one now.. and I’ve cramped. My af started Sunday just gone and I cried sooo much! But my cycle ya come back normally if not better than it was before so I guess that’s one positive. Hope yours doesn’t come but if it does, have a day to cry and get everything out then use this month as a new opportunity. I’m not tracking, eating healthier. Going to let my partner come to me when he wants to dtd so I don’t feel like I’m pressuring myself or him to do it when I feel like we should. We’re quite regular anyway so they’re should always be an opportunity? Hoping that it may work. Just trying to chill right out and enjoy the last of the sunshine, summer will sadly be over before we know it! So let’s have a good month 🥂 Xxxx

@Northernsoul90 Yh I’m dreading it. Can’t use tampons on this first one either so going to feel it all. It’s almost like a ptsd from the miscarriage now. I hope our cramps and stuff is good things. Remind me have you had a long cycle this time, what length are you normally? How long were you trying before mc? X

@MichT4 The CM is a good sign!! Fingers crossed for you! I said I wouldn't symptom spot this time either until the urge came to POAS. I really hope this is your month 🤞xx

@Pugprincess That's so shitty of them I hope you are okay!! You have another job lined up though don't you? The weathers been crappy here humid but raining... I went into town to do some shopping and ended up in a 45 minute queue for the bank in the rain as well it was a nightmare.

I can feel that af is on her way I think 😔 I've been getting lots of low down cramping on and off all day and some slight cramping yesterday. I've told myself I wasn't going to pin my hopes catching first time after mc but I think I must have secretly been thinking it was going to happen. I suppose at least if af comes I won't have to go to my doctors but obviously seeing your period arrive is hard

Hello everyone. Thank you @MichT4 for asking too 🙂 I’ve had a weird day. You know how I left both my jobs, my zero hours contracts and starting new job in a few weeks? Well one of the jobs sent me a dismissal letter this morning, I hadn’t fully told them I wasn’t coming back until I text the manager this morning to ask for my p45 and then the letter arrives a couple of hours later, so I text again to say just got letter glad we’re both on the same page and can I have the p45 please. Lol. Nice way to kick me when I’m down because they knew about miscarriage. Never mind onwards and upwards I suppose. Did upset me though I can’t lie. End of an era as been there 4 years.

So Yh been quite tearful today. Still have a little light brown in my discharge. No other signs at the moment.

I’m intrigued about grapefruit juice too now-is it high in sugar? Think the pom juice is. I’ve started my calc Fluor now and will stop if/once AF arrives. I don’t hold massive hopes but I obviously wish it doesn’t come for good reasons.

Not really got anything done today, just had a friend come see me which was nice. Not taking dog out yet or had my lunch. Husband said he will take us b&q tonight and then food shop which I was meant to do earlier but with friend coming I’ve pushed it back. Weathers cloudy and very windy here so can’t really paint as it blows everywhere lol.

@Rebecca1992 yes I'm extremely luck to have 2 girls aged 3 and 7, I'm just so desperate for a 3rd. I had a mc before my 2nd daughter and we had discussed trying for a 3rd and then we accidentally fell pregnant but sadly ended in a mc. Now I've had a taster I just want it to happen. This is my 2nd cycle since the mc, I'm 3 dpo. Sometimes I feel really positive and other times I feel like it's just not going to happen anytime soon.
Do I see you have children too? Xx

Well, after a couple of false starts with a few peak OPKs, I think I am now somewhere between 4-7DPO depending what app I am looking at. I am just hoping temps stay high so that I definitely know I ovulated, but they are so far so I guess I should tick ovulation off (I hope!).
I feel fine, no symptoms or any feelings yet, but I do try and ignore most things now. I still have quite a bit of CM, so that I guess could be a good sign, but again, not overthinking it. I would LOVE to catch this cycle, but after the first MC and hoping I would catch quickly, I'm not thinking too much about it, as I was really upset last time when I didn't. I mean, it only took 4 months, but it felt like a lifetime because I was so convinced it would be quick.

@Lollol86 I've been extremely lucky that I caught straight away! How long have you been TTC? Have you any kids?

@Rebecca1992 I'm ok thank you, just want to be pregnant though. You are very lucky to have fallen so quick. It's the not knowing how long it's going to take that is really frustrating.

@Firevie I've just done the 2nd yoga session you sent yesterday, I also done 15 minutes of meditation today, work sent out a relaxation video and that really chilled me out xx

@MichT4 I think that's the best approach! After MC bleeding 19th June (4days) I started OPKs for the first time ever! I got my peak on July 1st so I presumed I ovulated on July 2nd, we DTD almost every day from June 24th upto the day I tested 9th July (AF was due 15th) it was exhausting 😂🙈

I said I wasnt going to test early because of MC but 2 days before I tested I was getting niggly on/off cramps and a lot of creamy CM and I was so wrecked (still am) I just had a strong urge to test like I had a feeling I was pregnant.

That was the only real symptoms I had! How many dpo are u? How are u feeling??

Yeah I'm trying to not overthink things, especially this month. Need to remain positive and distracted xx

@2020wish I know I would've picked a much early appointment if it wasnt for OH working and the hassle of trying to find someone to watch my girls as well so night is always better for me!

If I only I could have a bath alone! If the girls hear that water running it soon turns into a family bath 🙈 I will do some baking! I'm a compulsive Baker, my way of keeping busy and relaxing! How are you feeling??

@VP91x I know but I'm so ready for nothing to happen that it doesn't actually feel that hard waiting, if you know what I mean. I wouldn't even take one if I wasn't going away, I just think sensibly I have to, otherwise there'll be drinks and stuff.
Yeah he seemed quite happy with it 😂🍆💦, can't be helped if we must have some fun for this cause.

It's so nice you have a plan set out. That's definitely another thing getting my through this month - knowing I'll have bloods and scans if AF shows. xx
