I'm CD11, waiting for something (anything) to happen this month 😂. Only taking my Inofolic Alpha this cycle and nothing else.

Hope I've tagged everyone xx

@DBTJ Good luck with your scan tomorrow 🥰

fafi · 06/08/2020 11:21

@2020wish Aww it's so good to see your scan! I have one booked for 17 August when I will hopefully be 8 weeks, I have my booking appointment on 14th August.

I really wanted to book my scan earlier but I realised if I wait a week it can be a dating scan and not just a reassurance one so I thought I would get more bang for my buck, but not I just wanna have a look and make sure everything is ok!

I hope you feel a bit more reassured xx

@Firevie so glad to hear you've found a good doctor! It's great that he could confirm ovulation too. Fingers crossed you catch a sticky bean soon!xx

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 11:18

@Northernsoul90 I agree, the NHS just don't take the same approach. I would say that's what you're paying for, but they shouldn't give you half a job because you are using NHS.
@Firevie so why did you end up going private for the ERPC? Did you just want the recommended doctor?

@MrsK21 I'm glad I'm not the only one with the temp thing, I'll take your lead and not stress about it. I honestly don't know why temps bother me so much. I think I just think it should be textbook, and I know it's not, but the fact it's not winds me up 😂
We are going to the Lake District. Bit close for comfort to some localised lockdowns, so as long as they can hold off a week, I don't mind.

MrsK21 · 06/08/2020 11:07

@Pugprincess sorry I can't see a line but it's probably showing better IRL - I think if you wait a few days you'll have a better idea and hopefully less anxiety that comes with early testing

@2020wish awww your scan pics look amazing, wishing you a healthy remaining 9 months!

@Firevie wowww your doctor sounds awesome, so glad you are being well looked after and your body seems like it's going like clockwork, that must've been a relief in it's self!

@VP91x sorry I didn't get round to replying to you yesterday, I'm feeling oddly calm about the appointment later. Think the penny has finally dropped for me that worry will get me nowhere. How are you doing? How are the OPKs looking?

@MichT4 I was a hot sweaty horrid mess too last night and my temp also decreaed - from 36.58 the last few days to 36.40! It's still JUST above the coverline so I'm not too worried about it. Plus I took my temp at a weird time which can't have helped either.
Where are you off to on hols again? Sorry I have lost track of the thread over the last couple of days!

@Northernsoul90 what cycle day are you on now hun? Have you AF like cramps reduced? Hoping it's a BFP for you!

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 11:02

@Firevie That is such good news about your appointment - your doctor sounds amazing! I bet you feel really relieved!!

I find it a bit concerning that with the NHS they just seem to do these procedures and send you on your way with no follow up... after the mva I was just sent home and that was that. I did end up having an internal scan after but only because I was still getting positive pregnancy tests and I wouldn't say the scan was particularly in depth it took less than 5 minutes. You just want to know that everything is healthy after mc. I know the NHS is stretched but I would have liked some reassurance afterwards.

Does the progesterone promote healthy lining and prevent bleeding? This is something else that you don't seem to be offered on the NHS unless you have had recurrent mc. Xx

DBTJ · 06/08/2020 10:57

@2020wish clearly I misread as you have had the scan glad all is well and you can relax a little

@Pugprincess you posted a test few days ago and I could see a faint line but I cannot with this test. I would say wait till around 14dpo and retest

DBTJ · 06/08/2020 10:53

@2020wish just seen the messages so we really are doing things 2geda I also have scan tmrw.
Gd luck with yours

Firevie · 06/08/2020 10:53

@MichT4 haha honestly he really is amazing! He doesn’t beat around the bush, he is v direct and can come across cold when you first meet him but he’s just so damn good at what he does and tbh I would much rather him not coddle me but just be an amazing doctor. My friend recommended him to me who unfortunately also went through MC and he did her ERPC. What a thing to be famous for haha
@Pugprincess yes I’m def so lucky with him. I’m glad he’s already taking things in hand for my next pregnancy. I hadn’t even Heard- of progesterone for women with irregular cycles. I will buy it in the pharmacy and take it with me when I go home on Saturday as my TWW will end next week so I might have to take the progesterone as early as next week.... fingers crossed 🤞 xxx

Pugprincess · 06/08/2020 10:46

@Firevie that’s fantastic that he is helping you after 1 as they quite often make you wait till you have had 3. 🤞🏻 that wouldn’t be the case anyway but it’s even less likely with the progesterone I would have thought xx

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 10:46

@Firevie what a bloody lovely doctor you have. Amazing to have ovulation confirmed too! I want to go and see him and see what he can tell me 😂.

@SmileyT it's all too confusing for me, I can't pretend to understand any of it. I'll just plod along, unaware and dreaming of BFPs

Firevie · 06/08/2020 10:43

@scrambledeggy yes absolutely and now that I have the clear from my doctor I’m now just happy and very excited to see my parents and friends at the wedding!
@Pugprincess thank you!! He is great haha! One mc and hopefully the only one! He did an internal ultrasound with me today just as a post op and spent a lot of time looking at literally everything in detail / that is just very re assuring. Xx

Pugprincess · 06/08/2020 10:38

@Firevie good news for you too! Great that he has given you that prescription. Sorry I forget how many mc you have had? X

Pugprincess · 06/08/2020 10:36

@2020wish aww look at that scan ❤️ So happy everything is looking good for you. Good thing you was taking the aspirin too. I didn’t know about your csection scar, do you have other children? X

scrambledeggy · 06/08/2020 10:35

@Firevie a wedding! At least getting excited about that should be enough to distract you from TWW.

@MichT4 I know what you mean, I'd be happy for AF to come as it means certainty. @Northernsoul90 that is as good a reason as any! In the best way possible, I hope you can't drink at the weekend Wink

@2020wish CONGRATULATIONS Flowers, all the best for a safe pregnancy!

Firevie · 06/08/2020 10:29

@2020wish omg I am so so pleased For you!!! Honestly felt close to happy tears when I read your news!
Yay to @MichT4 and @scrambledeggy being my TWW buddies.
So I’ve just finished at my doctors - he said everything looks good! Nothing left from the surgery, healed well, ovaries are looking good and he confirmed I ovulated from my right ovary and said he can confirm my ovulation which is a good sign. He couldn’t yet see if I had caught but he’s given me a prescription of progesterone for when I get my BFP so I can start taking it straight away as I had long irregular cycles and that will promote my healthy pregnancy. He also said once pregnant I should call him, he will get me in for blood tests and early scans! I can’t tell you how relieved I am ladies. It is just such a great feeling to know my body is strong and healthy and that’s what I’ve got to believe in and trust my baby is on my way.

Annoyingly my private health insurance will not cover my ongoing normal check ups with this doctor but he is so good that DH and I have decided to go with him anyway. I just really trust him. Wishing you all a positive day! Xxx

SmileyT · 06/08/2020 10:16

@2020wish fantastic news 🥰🥰🥰 and so glad they are scanning you in 3weeks, I'm going to bankrupt myself with all my private scans 😂

@MichT4 yeah I'll take my excuses for now but felt very much the same pre-preg, lockdown has just got me used to not doing very much in the evenings 🙈 the temp thing kinda blows my mind, you may be able to tell I'm easily confused, also I'm the same as you, somebody can do a little thing and it changes my whole view of them 😂

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 10:06

@2020wish I forgot to ask was this an NHS scan or private? Did they scan you internally? I have decided when I get a bfp I'm going to book in for a scan at around the 6 week mark (think this would have to be internal) and then another at 9 weeks helpfully before the NHS dating scan. 12 weeks is just too long to wait.

I hope you can have a nice day now knowing that little bean is all tucked up safe 🥰

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 10:03

@MichT4 That's all we can do at this point assume and go with it... I keep questioning whether or not I actually ovulated as well and then keep getting all these panicky feelings about af not arriving and what if somethings wrong. There's nothing I can do now though just got wait to test and take it from there. I am still getting on and off period type pains so something must be happening down there at least 🤣.

@Firevie @scrambledeggy @MichT4 it's funny you all said that I was going to wait to test until Sunday but am going to do Saturday so that I know whether or not I can have a drink on Saturday night 😂

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 09:59

@2020wish Amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️ so happy for you and what lovely news xx

Lollol86 · 06/08/2020 09:57

@2020wish omg that's amazing news, congratulations. So happy for you xx

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 09:55

@2020wish amazing! Congratulations lovely, such a wonderful start to the day xx

2020wish · 06/08/2020 09:51

Everything looks perfect they said. Heart beat and size and pregnancy is away from my csection scar . I cried hard. They are are rescanning me in 3 weeks for further reassurance and advised me to take aspirin but we’re happy to know I’m already taking 150mg already. Still feel so anxious but happy. Dates match up perfect with ovulation 6weeks 2 days

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 09:45

@Firevie @scrambledeggy TWW buddy here too, also testing next week for alcohol reasons 😂. Otherwise I'd be waiting to test for sure - really don't want to see a BFN, would rather see AF.

Firevie · 06/08/2020 09:39

@scrambledeggy ah we may be TWW buddies then as I will also test next week but I think I will be 13dpo. That is the wedding of my bestie - so I will Test in the morning and then decide whether I will have to stay away from the booze at her wedding or not ;)

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 09:30

@Northernsoul90 I am fine thank you. Still going to keep with my range of DPO and put myself somewhere between 5-8DPO. I had an internal wobble today, what if I didn't ovulate, but then I thought what am I actually going to gain from worrying about it, so I shall assume I have and hope for the best!
How are you? xx
