I'm CD11, waiting for something (anything) to happen this month 😂. Only taking my Inofolic Alpha this cycle and nothing else.

Hope I've tagged everyone xx

@Firevie I know it's just all so confusing - like I say though I do have cramps and had the brown spotting earlier so I'll wait for the rest of the day and if af doesn't properly arrive I'll test in the morning because I will be 14/15dpo then.

The weather is horrible here really overcast but muggy and sticky! It needs to rain and then the sun can come out! X

Firevie · 06/08/2020 15:39

@MrsK21 I am sure he won’t mind 🤣🤣
@Northernsoul90 ooh exciting!!! Yes perhaps Test tmr or if you can wait another day or so perhaps wait?! It’s so hard though isn’t it. I’m gonna test 13dpo in any case because of the wedding which is a welcome excuse haha

Also how hot is it today? Proper sticky! Can’t wait to go for my run but work is being ugh today. Do you know the feeling when you’re just stuck and doubt yourself and can’t get motivated to do anything....that’s a sign of need for a holiday so I have decided to def start hols from Monday xxx

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 15:18

@MrsK21 So glad you have some answers now! Fingers crossed the Provera works for you lovely 😘😘 I know waiting a bit longer is rubbish but things are in motion now xx

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 15:15

Right sorry for the false alarm 😂 I'm not sure about af now I had the slight brown spotting when I wiped earlier and then nothing since. This had led me to be even more concerned about the Ashermans syndrome thing 🥴. I think if nothing else happens today I'm going to just do a test in the morning what do you think?

Thank you for all your lovely kind words by the way 🥰 this group is so supportive

1990EM · 06/08/2020 14:51

@2020wish sooo happy to come on here and see that lovely little scan. Delighted for you! Hoping August will be a good month for us all xx

DBTJ · 06/08/2020 14:45

Hey has anyone tried anti sickness bands before, I tried the pressure points using my hands and I felt relieved although not sure if that's all in my head.Hmm

Lollol86 · 06/08/2020 13:57

@MrsK21 that's great news that you have some answers. Fx af shows up ASAP xx

MrsK21 · 06/08/2020 13:51

@Firevie I'm just really glad to know there's a likely answer for why my body's just shut down.
My GP just didn't want to know so I'm really glad I went private with this and I've hopefully got a route back to normality now. Can't wait to properly jump back on the TTC wagon, my poor DH won't know what's hit him 🤣

MrsK21 · 06/08/2020 13:48

@MichT4 10 days of Provera doesn't seem that long or far away to AF (and a new cycle!) now. I'll be on CD81 then! Not sure how I'll cope with AF when it finally arrives it's been so long since I've had one.

I'm just so relieved that I've got a way out of this period of not knowing and just waiting for something to happen spontaneously whenever that may have been. It's been a long and difficult road so hoping the Provera does the trick now 🤞🏽

Firevie · 06/08/2020 13:47

@Northernsoul90 oh no I’m sorry to hear! But equally I think you’re taking the right approach in saying that your cycle is normalising again! Enjoy your anniversary celebrations and treat yourself to some bubbly - you might as well now
@MrsK21 whilst maybe not the response you were hoping for silver lining maybe that there is some process and you have a better picture of what’s going on!

Keep strong ladies! We will all have our rainbow babies! We just need to trust our strong bodies and give our bodies the credit they deserve! Xxx

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 13:39

That's great that you have answers @MrsK21. I know it's frustrating having to wait longer, but you have everything you need now so hopefully it is just a matter of AF arriving now xx

MrsK21 · 06/08/2020 13:32

@Northernsoul90 sorry it's AF but your body has now thankfully shown it's ovulating and back on track. Hope you're ok xxx

An update from me- I've just come back from appointment. Doctor took a look at my blood results and scan and she believes the cyst the sonographer saw is a persistent Corpus Luteum from my pregnancy which is still secreting progesterone from looking at my bloods. In a nutshell my body fully hasn't recognised that the pregnancy ended by keeping progesterone levels higher than normal. So I was getting negative hcgs but no AF 😞
So she's given me a Provera prescription to induce AF and hopefully that's my body resetting itself and letting me move on from this ordeal.

I've got a review in 3 weeks by which point I should've taken my 10 days of Provera and had AF. If no AF, we can discuss next steps then.
I'm so glad to finally have an answer and I just KNEW what I was experiencing wasn't normal. The doctor also told me all my other hormone levels look great and ovaries and womb look good too so hopefully once this is over, it's a BFP soon!! Xxx

Lollol86 · 06/08/2020 13:11

@Northernsoul90 sorry af has arrived, but like you said at least it's finally here. Your body can reset now xx

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 13:09

@Northernsoul90 oh bugger - sorry AF is on her way, but like you said, as an alternative to a BFP, at least you have your cycle back. Definitely deserves some kind of elaborate treat!
I would recommend Fertility Friend for charts/temping. Femometer is good if using those OPKs as you can take photos. I also have Glow and like it with the Femometer OPKs as it just says positive or negative on the photos, instead of a number. FF is my favourite all rounder but I use the results from the photo OPKs to put pos or neg into FF.

xx

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 13:03

@2020wish @Lollol86 thanks for that ladies! X

@MrsK21 Really hope it all goes well for you and you get some answers! You deserve it and have waited long enough! Xx

So I think af has started everyone, I've had cramping all morning and just had some brown spotting when I wiped. 13d/14dpo today. As much as I'm gutted and sad about not catching I am relieved that my period seems to have started. I'm trying to keep a pma and look forward now to a fresh cycle! I'm also going to temp this month and have a proper go at it and at least I'll know where I am with everything after 9 weeks of no cycle. I think I'm going to get the glow app and also would people say the femometer app is best for temping? Any other recommendations?

Lollol86 · 06/08/2020 12:34

@2020wish @Northernsoul90 I had a scan with my last pregnancy at 6 weeks and it wasn't internal as they were able to see the babies heart beat through the abdomen scan xx

@Firevie I'm having a nice chilled day today, I hope yours is all good too xx

Firevie · 06/08/2020 12:25

@Lollol86 aww thank you soo much!! Same to you! Hope you’re having a good day today xx

Lollol86 · 06/08/2020 12:23

@Firevie aww that's great news, you will have your rainbow baby before you know it. Sending so much baby dust your way xx

2020wish · 06/08/2020 12:21

Thank u everyone. Since taking each day as it comes I deffo recommend an early scan

2020wish · 06/08/2020 12:10

@Northernsoul90 yes this was the nhs. I believe the guidelines for both the nhs and private scans are internal if under 10 weeks. It was totally painless. I’ve cried so much today with happy tears.

@Pugprincess yes I have a 9 year old and yes so glad I took it upon myself to start the aspirin

Firevie · 06/08/2020 11:58

@fafi thank you and good luck for your scan!!!
@MichT4 my friend has the same private health insurance via her work as I do so she actually prompted me to look into it. My private health insurance were very good about and it helped that this doctor was on their list. Future pregnancy check ups etc won’t be covered by the private health insurance but now that I’ve been with him I will probably stick with him throughout pregnancy and birth. Xx

MrsK21 · 06/08/2020 11:51

@MichT4 oh Lake District sounds lovely and hopefully you'll have cracking weather too. Fx these lockdowns don't get extended, though with some of the Eat Out scheme scenes I've seen - who knows!
Thank you, I will let you all know how it goes!

@Northernsoul90 ah yeah I read about that, I think it's called Asherman's syndrome? Did they mention anything on your scan when you went back to the EPU about your lining being thin or anything?
I'm on CD71 today so I really do feel your pain. I had the weird cramps too like AF when I thought it was coming but then nothing...
Yes, appointment is today to see what next steps are around that cyst that was seen on my scan. I will also ask if they can give me the provera to induce AF as I'm tired of waiting now. It's been 10 weeks today and though my temps suggest I've ovulated, I'm just really fed up and want to get on with TTC properly now. Feel like half my year has been spent on this pg and subsequent mc which is a really long time....

DBTJ · 06/08/2020 11:33

@fafi thank youSmile

Northernsoul90 · 06/08/2020 11:31

@MrsK21 I am now (shockingly) on cd59 and 13/14dpo. I've been having them on and off all week really, I don't know what to think. I'm just hoping that if I don't get a bfp on Saturday then af arrives soon after, I've heard that if you have af symptoms but no bleeding it could mean that adhesions have been caused from mva procedure so no blood is getting out. I'm praying that this isn't the case and just trying not to google anything now. How are you getting on? It's your appointment today isn't it? Good luck!! Xx

MichT4 · 06/08/2020 11:30

@MrsK21 good luck with your appointment later xx
