TTC after MC - August 2020 (Thread 9)

So update I really don't know what's going on, no full flow blood I'm just getting bits of brown when I wipe and tiny bits on my pad with some really small black/brown stringy type bits (like a clot i suppose but not as big as). I never normally spot before af and usually just come on full flow. I did a test a couple of hours ago as I was confused and that was negative - I have drank a lot today so urine could have been diluted but I'm not holding out much hope for a bfp. I'm going to ring the doctors in the morning - I will retest but I don't think I'm pregnant. I just don't understand I expected my period to be really heavy seen as though I haven't had one for 9 weeks so now I'm quite worried and upset 😔. I was all for trying to have a pma a few hours ago but that was when I thought af was coming in full force - I don't have a clue what this is. It's made me feel worse because I've just seen my sister who is due in couple of weeks and it all got a bit much talking about the new baby - I bawled my eyes out on the way home. This ttc journey is getting a bit much, cd 59 and I just feel fed up with it all. Sorry for the rant ladies but I know you'll understand x

@MichT4 omg that puppy is adorable! I’m sure it will all be fine! Enjoy tmr and the dinner tonight though I know you don’t want to drag yourself there haha

@SmileyT I’m not sure how much it will be privately but I can def let you know. Up until now I’ve still been covered by my private health insurance so once pregnant and I see him I will find out how expensive it will be. I think his charge out rate is £250 per appointment but that is without bloods scans etc but will keep you posted

@SmileyT my scan is with Window to the Womb. It's literally around the corner from my house - the convenience might be dangerous for me just booking a casual scan here and there! 🙈

@MichT4 you'll have long forgotten about the breeder as soon as you get your fur baby home! I'm sure they're fine, maybe they forgot to send the pics? So excited for you! Such a cute pup.

@Diorissimo1985 I was planning to hold out and just wait for AF, but I'm off on hol next Friday so I think I'll need to test before I go. It'll be at least 12DPO which id liked to have been later but I just think I need to know before I go. Just don't want to see a bfn 😢

@MichT4 I’m really good seem to have regained some energy now even managed a nice long stroll with him after work ❤️❤️

@MichT4 I hope AF stays away - fx crossed for you. When do you think you’ll test or will you try to hold out?
I’m good, trying to relax as much as possible and keeping up with my acupuncture, reflexology and yoga. I should be totally zen but I’m still pretty anxious 🤣 xx

@SmileyT I'm excited and nervous i haven't had any bleeding however hope the subchronic bleed has vanished and this time there is a baby there with a strong heartbeat

@SmileyT for today, yeah. I am technically working tomorrow but I have a great boss who is happy for me to go and see puppies! I'm actually a bit apprehensive because of my concerns about the breeder. I'm sure she's a brilliant breeder, but I just don't like her lack of communication. Think I need to be brave and bring it up tomorrow.
Then 4 days next week and then holidays!

@Firevie that doctor does sound like a dream, do you know how much it costs to be monitored privately throughout pregnancy? (sorry if that is a rude question, feel free to not answer if it is)

@fafi are you going with ultrasound direct? I didn't realise they did the cheaper babydate one until after I'd had mine but I've booked that for my next scan in a couple weeks x

@Northernsoul90 I'm in awe of ladies that are patient and can wait until 12weeks, I know a few on here have done it, but for me I just needed that early scan. NHS seem to love internal scans but privately they seem to go abdominal from around 6w I think. Also agree FF is best for temps but hoping you don't need it still ☺️

@MrsK21 glad you got some answers today and hopefully the provera resets your body ready for your BFP next month x

@Diorissimo1985 more relaxed approach definitely seems to give some ladies the edge so I hope it pays off for you, or at least you feel less stressed in the TWW because of it xx

Hey @Diorissimo1985. I'm fine thank you, I am home from work and am heading out soon as it's OHs dads 60th but I'm so sleepy 😂 need to wake up!
I am somewhere between 5-7DPO I think. It's first cycle post second MC so I'm hoping I did actually ovulate. I'm hoping with all I have that I'll be lucky and catch first cycle but I'm expecting AF to show her irritating face.

@VP91x @SmileyT hello! I took a few days off mumsnet to de-stress as I was getting fixated on TTC and I was spending way too much time on the conception and health issues boards 🤣 it was getting me really down and stressed.
Feeling more chilled and trying to relax... I am aware I’m on cd12 though 😂 think ovulation happened today or will do tomorrow. How have you been? What cd are you on? Much love xx 😘

Sorry I haven’t replied much to everyone. Such a busy day! I had the scan them over to pick up our car that was in the crash in June- it’s finally fixed and then to meet my friend for lunch. Was so hard not telling her I’m pregnant and now I’m for dinner with my parents.

Fingers crossed for u all in august!! Thought I’d share again would i used /done to fall pregnant numerous times this year - I used preseed and the fertility cup. Grapefruit juice before ovulation and pom juice after ovulation.
Omega3, coq10, high dose vit d, calc flur, high dose folic, vital dhea, b6 complex, magnesium and seven seas trying for a baby. Tracked ovulation with bbt and opks. This pregnancy tho I took a step back from bbt as it was stressing me out and only used opks when I could feel ovulation pain and I also added in aspirin after ovulation (after consulting with my doctor) and progesterone cream after ovulation that I ordered from eBay. Also made sure my partner was taking all he needed to improve his fertily. Fingers crossed for everyone on this thread for happy healthy pregnancies! U all deserve it and more! Xx

@MrsK21 That all sounds like good news in a way, in that you know what's going on now and can move forward from it! I think you'll be nothing but relieved when AF arrives as it will be the start of the next chapter. x

@Northernsoul90 Sorry to hear it could be AF but happy to see you positive outlook! As @MichT4 said, I too prefer to you Fertility Friend for tracking temp and everything and if you use Fermometer OPKs that app for the pics and then adding the data to FF! But! After reading your most recent post I'm still holding out for a BFP tomorrow! Either way you seem to be cool with it so that's good x

@Northernsoul90 testing tomorrow sounds like a good idea and if you're 14/15 DPO it'll give you a clear BFP hopefully! But otherwise maybe give yourself till Monday and call up the GP if still no AF and negative tests. As you can see in my case, it takes a while to get them to do anything useful so it's worth just flagging to your GP so it's on their radar x
And thank you, really hoping this works for me too. I remember one of the ladies on the thread saying they had an allergic reaction to Provera - praying the same doesn't happen to me!!!!
