TTC after MC - August 2020 (Thread 9)

@Lollol86 not yet. Only 7DPO today. Holding off until Monday at 11DPO or Wednesday hopefully

@Firevie definitely no complaining. Our bodies are doing wonderful things and will give us our beans when they are ready

@MichT4 it's hard to know what's the right thing to do but do the thing that makes you less stressed. I actually feel more resigned to the disappointment when I see the blank test whereas the closer to AF I get, I get more hopeful. So I don't like that. This will be my 34th cycle of TTC so I really know what makes it easier for my now 😞 after yesterday's news I'm not even slightly hopeful but have to keep trying I suppose

@chloedancer897 I'm torn, I think I like AF to come so I don't have the disappointment. I actually really don't want to test next week but I think it's the sensible option with being away xx

@Lollol86 yay let’s do it together on Friday. I will be 13dpo. Ladies potentially many more BFPS over the next few days. Fingers crossed! Let’s all stay positive and celebrate our bodies rather than complaining about it

@MichT4 I like to know if AF is coming so I like to test on 11-12DPO just to prepare myself. Actually waiting for AF is traumatising for me. I hate being out of control. Good for you not being stressed about it. That's the way to be!

I'm having issues with keeping up to date. I try to capture some messages. So forgive me ladies

@Firevie I might have to do Thursday because I'm hoping that if I'm lucky and get a bfp, I can beg for progesterone before I go away. I'm convinced that's part of the problem so I'm hoping they give it if I get a bfp.
I'm trying so hard to be positive but I'm ready for it not to be this month. Can't decide whether to keep my head in the clouds or stay grounded xx

@chloedancer897 are you preparing for DTD tonight? I just said to DH shall we DTD tonight just for fun and he got really confused lol

@Northernsoul90 sorry you're going through it this month. Maybe because it's been a while since you bled, there is some old blood coming out first. It might have build up a fair bit hence the clots. Hopefully if it is AF you'll get full flow soon

Hello everyone. I really need some encouragement. I am 13 dpo. No sign of a period. I have been trying to conceive for 6 months and using fertility drugs. I know I need to take a test but I am too scared!

@Northernsoul90 I really feel for you. This journey is hard enough but having your cycle so messed up is just so unfair xx

@Lollol86 Thank you for that! Me too I just want to know what's happening.

The only other possibility is if I ovulated later than I thought when I had some cramping which would mean I'm actually 6dpo and not 13 like I thought. If that's the case it could be implantation related but I think that's clutching at straws. I got a static smiley on cb and ovulation type pains for 2 days on and off so stopped doing opks (I've not been temping so ovulation wasn't confirmed) I then got the same ovulation type pains a week later so thought if I hadn't actually ovulated when I got the static that could have been it. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see what happens xx

@Northernsoul90 so my first period started the same, the first 2 days it was very light and just some slight spotting but on day 3 it became very painful and heavy. Not saying yours will be the same but you may find it does start the same. Fingers crossed you get some kind of answer ASAP xx
