We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@smusty14 and @littlebee1990 thank you . Feeling a lot better now. Kept myself busy getting the house cleaned and we have just got a summerhouse so been painting it all weekend. Feeling a lot more positive and ready to focus on ttc again. Cycle 8 . My oh is off when I will likely ovulate and it is also his birthday so who knows what this month will bring . Have ordered some preseed to use this month x

Littlebee1990 · 26/11/2020 08:28

So sorry @1992EM, hopefully see you back here soon with a BFP ❤️❤️

Smushty14 · 26/11/2020 07:13

@1992EM Oh no! I'm so sorry lovely 😔 it really sucks how our bodies trick us like that.

I completely get having a break from here as it does get quite intense.

Hopefully we will hear from you soon 😘

1992EM · 26/11/2020 06:38

Spoke to soon . AF appeared this morning. Hate how your body tricks you like that. I am going to have a break from here for a bit until I feel a bit more positive about ttc again 💕 good luck @smushty14 hopefully when I come back you will have your BFP xxxx

1992EM · 25/11/2020 22:49

@smushty14 thank you so much . Hopefully it is a lucky charm for us both. Yeah I am working until Friday so if AF hasn't shown I will test first thing on Saturday. When I was working from home I spend a fortune on tests 🤣

Smushty14 · 25/11/2020 22:47

@1992EM I'm looking forward to Saturday where hopefully AF won't have arrived by then for you 🤞🏻 Plus it's my birthday so hopefully that is your good luck charm!

Ah I'm working from home for the foreseeable future so that makes it a bit easier than having to go out to work. Is Saturday your next day off? You've got this 💜

1992EM · 25/11/2020 22:38

@Smushty14 I know i am surprised by myself 🤣 if I wasn't having to go into work I would but the thought of getting either result then having to work all day puts me off . I also don't no if I could cope with another BFN. I normally am champing at the bit to test but this month I haven't had the same urge. Also haven't really got any symptoms except feeling a bit queasy and light headed and at the same time have no AF symptoms either so no idea what is going on 🙈 i have everything crossed you get your BFP soon . That looks good with your heart rate ♥

Smushty14 · 25/11/2020 21:57

@1992EM I still can't believe you haven't tested yet! I've just had my FRERs arrive and I have no idea how I'm going to hold off testing 🙈

I have everything crossed for you!

My heart rate is currently at 64bpm and I reckon based on my last dip on 16th Nov down to 56bpm that was when i ovulated. Hopefully it increases again tonight but who knows

@1992EM 🤞🏼 Fingers and toes crossed for you xxx

Not really sure what to think of this but so far I am nearly a day late. AF was due today and no sign. I had some orange/pink cm yesterday for a couple of hours and nothing today until I had a bath and then a tiny bit of pink . It is just a bit unusual and different from usual AF spotting but I don't want to get my hopes up to be shattered again. Holding of testing until Saturday if AF doesn't show. x

1992EM · 21/11/2020 18:48

@smushty14 it has been good . Kept myself busy cleaning the house before we put up our Christmas stuff next week. 9 dpo and as usual I am symptom spotting like made.
@dinosaurus86 I hope because it is private they move faster for you guys .
I am good thank you.

Dinosaurus86 · 21/11/2020 16:50

Thanks @1992EM and @Smushty14! How are you both getting on?

I can’t moan too much - I wouldn’t be eligible on the NHS for another few months anyway. But they won’t even do bloods! And speaking to the doctor the other day, they don’t expect NHS IVF to be back to normal for probably a couple of years, which is far longer than I’m prepared to wait! The money side of it does concern me though. It’s not something we can easily afford so it would be a big loan. Generally we’re quite debt averse but this is one thing I’m willing to risk it on. But I’m still hoping we won’t need the really expensive treatments! We are still under the year, so early days. I guess the thing is that we were hoping to have 2, so it would be good to get going - I just turned 34!

Smushty14 · 21/11/2020 16:37

@1992EM How has your weekend been so far lovely?

@Dinosaurus86 Oh no! I'm so sorry lovely. Fingers crossed for the scan next week. I understand why the NHS are cutting back at the moment but it really isn't at all fair

1992EM · 21/11/2020 09:00

@Dinosaurus86 I am so sorry to hear that you are not able to these test done by the NHS. It must be so stressful . I really hope you find out what is going on and will have your baby soon 💕

Dinosaurus86 · 20/11/2020 13:15

Yes, I don't think there are many of us left! I float around a bit but have been trying not to fixate too much on TTC, so took a little step back.

Another failed month for me, and I took this one particularly hard. I thought we did a really good job around fw and also used conceive plus for the first time. I haven't been testing early, but in the future I've decided I will test at 12dpo because the last couple of days are total torture.

I had my progesterone test redone, which came back great, but still no joy. Had a bit of a breakdown and decided to get the ball moving a bit more. DP has been surprisingly good about it and will have SA next week. I also have a scan booked the following week. This is all private, but it doesn't sound like the NHS are doing these tests at the moment in our area in any case. I am looking up loans! It looks like even getting to the having a baby point is going to be extremely expensive for us.

1992EM · 19/11/2020 16:37

@kalecat 🤣 I have deliberately not bought any early tests as I know I would . I would spend the full week questioning the result in both cases 🤣
@smushty14 I am alright it is actually less stressful this way as I don't get my hopes up the same way as I did before. X

Smushty14 · 19/11/2020 08:05

@1992EM Ooh that's my birthday 🎉🤞🏻Oh Hun, it's not nice to feel that way. If only it was easy 🙄

@Kalecat haha and I thought I was having to wait a while! I just remember hearing about how long Dermot O'Leary took to propose and thinking oh I'd never have to wait that long 🤣 young minds eh!

Did/does anyone else find when they do the deed around ovulation that sex is kinda uncomfortable?

Kalecat · 19/11/2020 04:14

@1992EM just test on Sunday, 10 DPO is a great time 🤣🤣🤣 beats the 7/8 DPO I always tested at LOL

Kalecat · 19/11/2020 04:13

@Smushty14 6 years! Oh dear, took my husband 8 years to finally buy the ring 🤣
Yes, he is allowed to come for the scan! So thankful 💕

1992EM · 18/11/2020 18:43

@Smusty14 fingers crossed. I hate the tww. I will be testing on the 28th if AF hasn't shown. I am not as positive this month . I have reached the point of just assuming AF will show. I think I am better waiting till after AF is due . I am too scared of the disappointment now x

Smushty14 · 18/11/2020 18:17

@Kalecat Are you able to have your partner at the scan? I have friends who are pregnant and they weren't at the 12 week scan back in August but for their 20 week their partner was allowed in.

Hope your scan goes well!!

@1992EM I reckon I'm 1dpo as I had quite a bit of egg white CM yesterday and the day before that I had a lot of cramping on my right hand side. Although I could just be symptom spotting 🤣

Ooh I'm 5 days behind you then! I reckon for me if AF hasn't shown her ugly face by 1/2nd Dec I will test then.

We have tried just dtd every other day

Fingers crossed for us!

@dogmam by the time I decided to buy some OPKs they wouldn't be delivered until CD13 so I thought if this month isn't the month, I will buy some when AF arrives ready for next month!

You guys have been together a long time! That must be quite nice having gone through so much with one person.

I think I'm quite lucky to have been with my partner over 6 years now - although maybe not so lucky as I'm still hinting at a sparkly piece of jewellery for my left hand 😉

Hopefully it won't take too long for those tests.

@Littlebee1990 My gosh what an exciting Christmas present! Are you going to find out the gender?

1992EM · 18/11/2020 17:33

@dogmam I hope they get the tests and things soon so you can find out. I don't plan to test until I am late as I will only be 10dpo on Sunday and then working all week. I am due AF a week today or tomorrow.

@littlebee1990 what a nice way to start the christmas week 💕

Littlebee1990 · 18/11/2020 09:34

Thank you all again ladies, honestly it’s so lovely to feel like we’re all in this together no matter where we are in our journey!

I’m really lucky with the no sickness, our 20 week scan is on 22nd December but we may have a private one before then as we will find out the sex and unsure if my partner can come to the 20 week yet and I’d want to find out together.

We used preseed the month we conceived, could be a huge coincidence but it gets a big thumbs up from me.

Rooting for you all ladies and can’t wait to see some more BFPs 🥰

dogmam · 18/11/2020 09:02

@1992EM hopefully the concieve plus helps this month and you get your bfp. When are you going to test? Keep us updated.

@smushty14 are you using opks this month? When do you usually ovultae?

@kalecat ahh bet you're so excited for Thursday! Let us know how it goes!

@littlebee1990 ah I bet you get some baby bits for Christmas presents off your family. How exciting!
I'm not sure exactly of the next steps at the fertility clinic, we got basic tests done at the GP but I think they can only do so much so have now referred us, I think it's just a matter of doing different tests to find out what's wrong then I guess further down the line if it still doesn't happen naturally or with treatment, they would probably offer us IVF. Hope it doesn't come to that although at the same time I wish we knew now if it can't happen naturally so we can get on with ivf. I just want us to be pregnant and start a family, we've been together 15 year, we are both 30 now and starting to think I wish we started trying earlier.
