August Testing Pond (Follow on from 24th-4th July) thread 3

Hi girls ,

I ovulated this month and AF is meant to arrive in the next week or so, obviously hoping she doesn't ! I don't have my usual pre period symptoms so trying to be positive although we didn't get to do the deed as much as we had planned this cycle 🙈 I'm feeling super bloated and boobs are bigger and feeling hungry all the time but it's hard to know if this is linked to AF or early pregnancy 🙈 fingers crossed for us all, I've lost track a little bit of what cycle I am on as I'm trying to be relaxed and not work myself up but it is difficult, it's a hard journey.

@DoctorBambino the bleeding drama was Saturday but we managed to dtd yesterday (sunday) which was the day after I got my peak so hoping it was still in time! The time before that was Thursday so not sure if that's too early to count haha. Basically every 3rd day we have dtd so far. It's been soo hot and I'm in the North so I feel for people in the south where it's been in the 30s! It's actually raining today so I'm pleased. Sounds like you have still managed to dtd plenty anyway, are you following SMEP?

@nottherealslimshady nah I don't think it could be my period because it was a pink colour rather than old blood (erghh sorry it awful talking about that haha) plus AF was over 2 weeks ago. Maybe start testing a couple time a day, I would trust the OPKs rather than what the apps are predicting. Hopefully not too much longer to wait for O so you can get busy!

I had my bloods taken on Thursday to check my B12, they done loads of others too so waiting for the results of those back today. I also found out my initial B12 bloods last year were 181 (aparently very low) and then when they got tested again a few month later they were 211 (boarderline) but I was told they were fine.. will see what they say today!

@dogmam that's a bit strange, never had anything like that. Could it have been some period blood that got stuck?

CD10 for me or there abouts, started OPKs this morning and already getting a high reading. Ovulation not due for 2 weeks apparently so theres not gonna be much happening for me for a while.

@dogmam that sounds scary, poor you! I've heard of ovulation bleeding being a good sign for fertility but never experienced it. Did you manage to dtd any other days in the lead up? I'm sure you'll still be covered if you manage tonight.

Its too freaking hot for dtd 🥵 the heat keeps making me swell up, not feeling very sexy haha!

I went straight to static on my cb opk yesterday which is very unusual for me but dtd yesterday and today and have done every other day in the lead up to that so fingers crossed.

How is everyone else getting on?

So yesterday I hot a high OPK and last night whist DTD, we noticed I was bleeding (sorry tmi 😶) quite a lot so stopped.. I can only assume it was ovulation bleeding but I've never had this before. Has anyone else?? We didn't end up 'finishing' because of the bleeding drama which I'm guttered about as feel we night have missed our chance..

Hi everyone, I'm on CD28 with AF due any day now. Haven't had any symptoms this month and don't really think I ovulated as didn't get any ovulation pains. But my guess is that I'm around 9 or 10dpo.
Took an IC this morning which was BFN 😔 and started feeling AF like cramps now. Not feeling much hope anymore. This is our 4th cycle but 2nd cycle properly trying.

I'm cd15 and still got blank smileys on cb 😑 usually would have had some flashing by now. Would usually get a static tomorrow so no idea what's going on. Feeling very bloated too 😖

@Fran2020 I am glad you are having some time with your partner and relaxing. I am heading into fertile week now. Opks are negative just now .

I'm 28 and this is my first cycle ttc.

Ovulated on CD20, but not feeling very positive this try as we could only dtd CD 14,15,16 before my OH travelled back to work.

How is everyone today? I'm 3DPO and keeping relaxed! Enjoyed a couple of days off work with my partner which was lovely!

@Littlebee1990 I am loving that organisation!! Can't wait to see photos as you start filling it in 😊

@littlebee1990 I used pressed for some of our dtd last month to try it out . I think we will use it again this month . I love to see things written down too.

Just did my first opk there as I am now home and it is super faint which I'm glad about as didn't want to risk missing my peak . I am CD11 so predicting peak opk on Monday and Tuesday .

Ooh yes, I’ll be interested to hear how the preseed goes @Littlebee1990. I know a friend of mine used it to good effect.

I'm CD14 and still on the flashing smiley but my line was quite dark this morning. Probably expecting peak tomorrow as last month it was CD15. Bad timing for DTD given extreme heat today and away from v early to v late tomorrow!! Always seems to be the way! Need to persuade DP to go for it very early tomorrow but he is not a morning person...

Not much to report here. I am away for a few days without my oh so haven't stated opks as didn't see the point when I couldn't do anything. I am back tomorrow so will do one tomorrow night and hopefully get a peak on Monday. I am CD10 and ovulated last month on CD14 so hopefully will be the same this time .

@Nottherealslimshady if only it were that easy. Posting samples sounds a lot better than DTD in this heat!

@whilstwewait I'm hoping that our session yesterday morning will mean that there's some sperm ready and waiting for my egg.

@Littlebee1990 feeling you on the long cycles. This is going to be a 44/45 dayer for me and I'm bored already!

CD30 for me and just got a 200% OPK which was even higher than yesterday's. So I'm now a little bit more hopeful that jumping on OH tomorrow when I get home will give us a good chance. Although its meant to be 34 degrees where I am so might have to whack the fan on full blast to get it done 🤣

Yeah I'm pretty sure @Littlebee1990 I was holding a tiny bit of hope with the lines staying the same but it's so faint this morning and I haven't felt at all pregnant since monday. I just hope it's not too long before we conceive again. App says 16 days until I ovulate again and suspecting a 38 day cycle so I'd say what you're experiencing is normal after an early loss. Fingers crossed your cycles settle down after this

@DoctorBambino Awww thank you, that's really lovely of you to say! 😊 Even though it's cycle 14, I feel like everything is going well right now: both my blood tests came back fine, my partners sperm analysis came back fine. I've had any letter from the hospital about my ultrasound and hopefully should hear about making an appointment at the fertility clinic soon. Plus me and my partner have been speaking more about everything and are feeling closer. 😊

@Nottherealslimshady I am so so sorry to hear that, I was feeling really positive for you. Here's to a lucky cycle 3 for you ❤️
