We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@Kalecat
I'm 39+2 and so ready and so uncomfortable! I cannot wait to lose this acid reflux 😂
Had a scan at 38+2 and baby was apparently huge, 8lb7, and she wanted to induce before 39 but I refused and were having another scan at 40+2 and if baby is still huge they're gonna wanna push for an induction. I want a homebirth though so there's a big chasm between those two options! I'm not stressing though, I think next week is baby week :)

So glad they're happy to go with your induction though, those few weeks are going to fly by! Hope you're handling the anxiety OK, it is so much responsibility looking after these little babies.

@Littlebee1990 hope you're doing OK, never heard of that, hope it's not causing you trouble. Have they told you how big baby is at your scans?

Littlebee1990 · 30/04/2021 18:19

@Kalecat so lovely to hear from you! I’m really pleased your request has been approved and hope you’re feeling ok?

Yup.. 2 weeks until EDD and counting! I’ve been diagnosed with Polyhydramnios so having extra scans, have final scan and consultant appointment on 11th when I’ll be 39+2 (if he doesn’t arrive before then) as they don’t like you to go over 40 weeks with the poly.. so we shall see!

Excited to hear everyone else’s updates x

@Nottherealslimshady how are you doing? Baby still cooking? ☺️
@Littlebee1990 your due date is approaching quickly! How is everything?
@1992EM haven't heard from you in a while!! How far along are you now? :)

I saw my OB this morning for routine check up. She said elective inductions have been getting denied due to Covid (induction = longer hospital stay, and they don’t want people in the hospital longer than necessary), but she just approved mine because of my anxiety, and said this would be considered a medical reason. Thank god! The pregnancy anxiety is horrible. Baby should be born on June 22nd ☺️💙

Nottherealslimshady · 20/04/2021 08:14

@Kalecat ah that sucks! You'll have a nice fresh room to turn into a nursery though, that'll be lovely.

It's insane to think that we're just waiting to go into labour now and then we'll have a baby!

Kalecat · 20/04/2021 01:30

@Nottherealslimshady ahh, I am jealous!!! I'm 30 weeks, and moving houses on the 1st. I've been going batty not being able to "nest" and set up the nursery! I can't wait until I'm 37 weeks. The end will feel so much more near lol!

Nottherealslimshady · 19/04/2021 22:41

38 weeks over here. I am ready for this baby to be born! I'm huge, baby is low down and if I walk more than a minute it feels like they're falling out 😂 we're convinced it's going to be this week but I'm not sure if it's just wishful thinking. How are you feeling?

Littlebee1990 · 19/04/2021 22:04

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing? Less than 4 weeks until due date... eeeekkkk x

@Smushty14 I'm sorry it's not an easy ride for you. But it's good they're keeping an eye on baby. Hope you're both well x

Smushty14 · 27/03/2021 08:41

@Littlebee1990 @Tinydinosaur thanks guys 💖

@dogmam so we had our appointment with the specialist yesterday and we have been changed to a high risk pregnancy now and I'm under consultant care rather than just midwifes. We also have to go back for regular scans to keep an eye on baby x

dogmam · 26/03/2021 16:57

Yay so pleased for you @Dinosaurus86

Unfortunately our 20 week scan didn’t go well. We had a consultation with the screening midwife and I have to go back tomorrow for a scan with the fetal medicine department as baby has an abnormal lip which they believe is right cleft lip.

I’ll be advised further on whether they believe it is related to a chromosome issue and if I need an amniocentesis or a NIPT even though my 12 week bloods came back as 1 in 20,000 so even the hospital are in shock.

I have a home visit from a specialist clinic next week.

As you can imagine it's all a bit of a shock and to me, I thought once I reached 12 weeks and had the bloods back we would be in the clear ❤️

Kalecat · 19/03/2021 20:17

Hi all, I thought I'd check in with some good news. My first full month clear of the horrid polyp and yesterday I got my first ever BFP!

Obviously very early days but I haven't even got this far before, so am trying to hold on to that. I had a bit of spotting and a small bleed on the day I would have expected my period, but it seems to have stopped for now. I'm trying to avoid further testing because I think it'll just stress me out, but I got a 2-3 on a digital, which is where I should be, so hoping all is well.

I can't believe some of you are so near the end now! If this little one makes it, it'll be due late-ish November.

1992EM · 15/03/2021 21:01

@littlebee1990 thank you ❤
