We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@Kalecat Love the idea of getting the bar staff onboard from @Nottherealslimshady

@Beepbeep42 🤞🏼 Keep us posted x

@1992EM I haven’t tried conceive plus, I’m sure there’s a few threads on here though comparing the 2! I have tried preseed for the first time this month though as I don’t ever seem to have barely any EWCM. I take folic acid and vitamin D but obvs not pregnant (yet!) so no idea what works and what doesn’t! We’ve gone for the numbers game again this month DTD every day of the fertile window and I think (subject to another temp rise tomorrow and Sunday) that we managed O-3 O-2 O-1 O and tonight will be O+1. AF due around 11th.. as we’re away 3-13th I will he testing early because if it’s a BFN I want to enjoy the hot tub and all the gin and all the champagne 🤣 however I’d absolutely take a BFP and fake drinking all week if I could 🥰
Sending baby dust to everyone for September & hopeful for our May/June bubbas xxx

Has anyone use conceieve plus ? I have tried preseed the last two months and thought I would try this to see what one I prefer. Also any advice on what preconception vitamins are best . I am currently taking pregnecare and have done for around 5 months now. I have just ordered another box but considering if I don't conceive this month then what else I can try. Hopefully my ovulation and peak will fall during the week and we can avoid the days my oh is doing 13 hr shifts.

1992EM · 29/08/2020 11:10

@beepbeep42 congratulations, I hope you BFP continues to get stronger.

@kalecat I like @nottherealslimshady idea of getting the bar staff on board. They would definitely go with it .

Beepbeep42 · 29/08/2020 08:42

Congratulations @Nottherealslimshady !

Back after last months CP. 10dpo and got a faint BFP on a FRER and internet cheapy (darker than the faint line at 16dpo last month). We're trying not to get our hopes up again but it's incredibly hard not to.

Nottherealslimshady · 29/08/2020 07:55

@Kalecat I actually didnt even make it to the venue. Played drinking games on the way there, then spent the whole night in the toilet till DH came and picked me up! 🤦‍♀️😂

Do you have a wedding coordinator or head waiter or anything like that? Or the barman even. Just tell them that if anyone buys you a drink to make it non alcoholic. The staff will really have your back. Fingers crossed you're carrying your baby at your wedding, that would be so lovely 💕

Kalecat · 29/08/2020 07:43

@Nottherealslimshady LOL don't even want to know how much you drank during bachelorette 🤣 I like the excuse, just not sure my family would believe it!!
@1992EM I like the idea of a non alcoholic champagne... it's just somehow obtaining it throughout the night without anyone noticing 🤔 lol.
My best friend (she's already got a 22 month old) and I are in a light hearted race to see who will conceive first, so hopefully I will win! 🤣 however it would be so funny to be due the same time. got my fingers crossed for a sticky one in September 🤞🏼

Nottherealslimshady · 29/08/2020 07:25

@Kalecat I didnt drink on my wedding day because I got so ill on my bachelorette party that I was traumatised. For those I didnt want to know how messy I got I told them I wanted a clear mind so I would remember everything perfectly :)

1992EM · 29/08/2020 07:06

@kalecat thank you . Congratulations when you big day comes. I hope september is a lucky month for you ttc. I would just get some non alcoholic champagne and nobody would know or just hold a drink and when you go up to dance put it somewhere and just don't go back for it 🤣. Another reason could be you are on antibiotics but I think by changing to non alcoholic drinks you will get asked less questions.

Kalecat · 28/08/2020 23:02

Ah, so sorry @1992EM I was hopeful for you 🤍.
I'm expecting AF tomorrow, which is unfortunately my bachelorette party day 🙄. OH and I are getting married 26 September, however we are still going to TTC in about 2 weeks. Not sure what I will say if I cannot drink on my wedding day. That's a pretty hard day to make up a lie lol.

1992EM · 28/08/2020 10:02

@Amelia891 Thank you 💕 I hope AF stays away for you but if not the September is a good month 👍

Amelia891 · 28/08/2020 10:00

Congrats @Nottherealslimshady !!
Sorry to hear that @1992EM hope you’re ok.

After getting my hopes up slightly with what I thought might be implantation cramps last week, AF is due Sunday and I have all my usual PMS symptoms so fairly sure I’m out this month. September is the month 🤞🏼

1992EM · 28/08/2020 09:50

@nottherealslimshady @annaposie @littlebee1990 thank you 💕

Only at 12 dpo so a bit concerned that is too short but have just read below 10 is only considered to be short. Anyway onwards and upwards. Onto the next one. Lots track of what month I am on now. Either 5 or 6 x

dogmam · 28/08/2020 09:44

@nottherealslimshady ahhh so pleased for you!! And it's great that you are feeling positive. Good to know you were more chilled about things this month, loads of people say that and maybe that's the trick x

AnnaPosie · 28/08/2020 08:45

@1992EM so sorry to hear that, take some time to do something nice for yourself xx

Littlebee1990 · 28/08/2020 07:51

Argh @1992EM I’m so sorry, treat yourself to something nice this weekend ❤️

I'm so so sorry @1992EM

1992EM · 28/08/2020 05:45

No need to test. AF has arrived 😔

Nottherealslimshady · 27/08/2020 20:57

Thankyou @Littlebee1990 that sounds like a good plan. You could get some non-alcoholic versions of what you drink to feel like you're still enjoying it. Non alcoholic kopparberg is awesome! I have everything crossed for you this month!

@1992EM thank you :) those sound like good symptoms, sending baby dust for tomorrow!

Dinosaurus86 · 27/08/2020 20:01

Fingers crossed @1992EM!

1992EM · 27/08/2020 17:35

@littlebee1990 so glad you got your peak .

@nottherealslimshady What an amazing line. Massive congratulations 💕

I keep thinking AF has started but just discharge like when you ovulate. Never had that before AF but not so hopeful that AF won't start. I had a strange pulling /cramp that made stop what I was doing to sit down. It wasn't sore just took me by surprise. No idea what it was . Going to test in the morning and will no doubt see a BFN 🙈.

Littlebee1990 · 27/08/2020 14:47

Aww @Nottherealslimshady you’re so sweet, honestly so happy for you, can’t wait to see that digital confirming it soon!

@Dinosaurus86 Don’t worry.. we’ve all done that! My friend had a bleed every month during her second pregnancy!!

Annoying my late ovulation will obviously push AF back.. she was due before holiday but now she’s due during! We’re away 3-13th.. AF is due around the 11th now, don’t know what to do about testing as there’s a hot tub and gin and I don’t wanna use it and affect possible implantation! I think I’ll try and avoid it for the first few days and then test early (around 7th) and if a BFN which will be 11DPO then I know I’m likely out.. x

Looks good @Nottherealslimshady!!

I feel really sick today so naturally am frantically googling the rare occasions where women still have a period in early pregnancy Blush

Nottherealslimshady · 27/08/2020 13:39

@Littlebee1990 tbh I did less. I drank caffeine and alcohol before I ovulated. I only LH tested in mornings, I ate junk. We didn't worry too much about DTD every day (but still made sure we hit ovulation). Last time I did everything perfect and still lost it at 6 weeks.
You're awesome and there's nothing more you could do, you'll get your BFP soon I'm sure ❤

Littlebee1990 · 27/08/2020 13:00

Anything you did different @Nottherealslimshady!? Tell us your tips! X
