We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

@Nottherealslimshady @Littlebee1990
Congrats on your baby boys!! I am also having a boy! 💙 how many weeks were you, and why did it end in c-section?
I'm 34+2, very impatient!!!

Littlebee1990 · 19/05/2021 22:37

@Nottherealslimshady hahaha could’ve wrote your post!

Our little boy is also here and also ended up in a c section. He is everything and more and we’re so full of love. ❤️

Our little boy is here!

My birth plan went to shit and ended up in an emergency c section.

But he's here and he's perfect, he's so chilled out and he's utterly beautiful.

So excited for you guys

Nottherealslimshady · 13/05/2021 20:38

Sorry name change fail 😂 I've asked for it to be changed.
So excited for you @Littlebee1990 i don't have many tightenings but my cervix is open so it's done its job. Still waiting for a space on the labour ward! Hope yours works well, walking and bouncing on my ball were fantastic x

1992EM · 13/05/2021 16:02

Ah so exciting that babies are on their way. Good luck to you both ❤

Littlebee1990 · 13/05/2021 12:24

Hey!

I had the pessary yesterday at 6pm so I’ll be examined again at 6pm tonight but don’t feel any twinges or anything.. just eating Jaffa cakes and walking up and down the corridors!!

Good luck!! Xx

Hope you're all doing OK?

I went in for the balloon catheter yesterday afternoon, it fell out this morning, so just waiting for a bed for my waters breaking. Eeek! Baby will be here soon! Just bouncing on my ball trying to get things moving

Smushty14 · 10/05/2021 20:57

@Nottherealslimshady hope everything is progressing well for you! 🤞🏻

@Littlebee1990 ahh not much longer now!

I can't believe we will have babies around us soon enough! Part of me thinks time has gone so slowly yet so quickly at the same time.

I have a scan with fetal medicine on Friday when I'll be 28 weeks. Can't wait to see how much little man has changed ☺️

I don't know about anyone else but I'm on countdown to my last working day.

@kalecat it really is. Thankfully it only last one wipe and that is it until next BM . Midwife doesn't seem concerned and baby is fine but still freaks you out. If it keeps happening I am going to ask for a scan x

Kalecat · 08/05/2021 15:16

@1992EM bleeding in pregnancy is so stressful. I had bright red bleeding at 20 weeks and thought the worst. It lasted 48 hours and the hospital never found a reason for it - it wasn't coming from the uterus. They thought possibly a kidney stone too small to be detected on ultrasound. Nonetheless horrifying to see blood!

Kalecat · 08/05/2021 15:14

@Nottherealslimshady ah that sounds promising! Maybe baby will arrive on my birthday, which is tomorrow - May 9! And also Mother's Day where I live! ☺️

1992EM · 08/05/2021 07:17

@littlebee1990 it is a never ending worry. Apparently pretty common but it still makes you worry .

All the best for Labour. Hopefully it goes by quickly so your partner can get it with you ❤

Littlebee1990 · 08/05/2021 07:05

@1992EM Thank you and glad all is ok, it’s a never ending worry!

@Nottherealslimshady That’s a great sign, I honestly don’t blame you, if I wasn’t high risk I’d be doing the same but I have to be on Labour ward and have to go straight to hospital as soon as anything starts but hey ho... just trying to keep positive!

Hoping you have a baby by the end of the weekend @Nottherealslimshady!! Xx

@nottherealslimshady aww a home birth sounds lovely . It is awful that partners can't be with you. I feel my partner has been very much pushed put the picture already due to covid. He can only get into 2 scans and that is it .

I had to go up to the early pregnancy unit last week as had some spotting after BM (tmi) but was coming from vagina . They took the heart beat and all was fine but oh wasn't allowed in . Sickness is a lot better now thankfully and feeling a bit more energetic 🙌 .

Nottherealslimshady · 08/05/2021 06:39

@Kalecat I have everything crossed! Lost my mucus plug this morning which is a good sign and has given me an oxytocin boost 😁 hope you're feeling OK, your baby is here next month!

@Littlebee1990 that's exactly what I'm worried about. It's ridiculous they can't be with you. DH and I had a massive chat about it and I'm just going to have another sweep Monday if labour hasn't started yet and stick with my homebirth. We'll reassess Wednesday if still no baby but I should be able to have the balloon and go home until labour starts then. I just can't bear the idea of being alone in hospital. The most important part of labour going well is mum feeling comfortable and happy so that's my priority. I hope your appointment goes well and you get what you want. Our babies will be here soon 💕

@1992EM thank you 😊 how are you feeling? Sickness any better? X

1992EM · 07/05/2021 18:55

@nottherealslimshady and @littlebee1990 best of luck to you both 💕 you will get to meet your wee bambinos soon. X

Littlebee1990 · 07/05/2021 16:27

@Nottherealslimshady There’s still the weekend but I can imagine how you’re feeling, I’m 39 weeks Sunday and have a scan and consultant appt on Tuesday & they’ve said if nothing has changed and my fluid is still high then they’ll want to induce me after that.. I really didn’t want to be induced as partners aren’t allowed at our hospital and I just have this immense panic of him missing the birth or me being alone for days on end until I’m in active Labour.. who would’ve thought we’d still be facing restrictions now, it’s madness x

Kalecat · 07/05/2021 16:07

@Nottherealslimshady maybe you'll go into labour naturally over the weekend!!

Nottherealslimshady · 07/05/2021 15:38

Just agreed to induction on Monday. Not what I want but baby is big and I'll be 40+5 then and baby will be like 10lbs. Disappointed, but I guess we'll have a baby soon

1992EM · 03/05/2021 07:06

@nottherealslimshady aw thank you 😊 I can't believe your nearing the end. Gives me hope that my pregnancy may fly by too 😅 . x

Nottherealslimshady · 02/05/2021 20:12

@1992EM so glad it went well! 2nd trimester was a dream for me, hope it is for you too!

1992EM · 02/05/2021 09:01

@littlebee1990 @nottherealslimshady and @kalecat

So exciting that your babies are nearly here 😍 best of luck to you all on your deliveries ❤

I am 14 + 3 now and all went well at the initial scan. Sickness is easing up too so looking forward to the next trimester and beginning to buy some baby bits.

Littlebee1990 · 30/04/2021 21:15

@Nottherealslimshady Not long to go at all, I can’t wait to hear when they make their arrival!

I’ve also been having growth scans as they suspected he was big, his head is on the 98th centile.. FML. At the growth scan at 36 weeks he was estimated at 6lb13 and cos of the fluid they also wanted to induce me at 39 but I declined and asked what other options we had which is why I have a rescan and follow up appointment now at 39+2.. so we shall see!

The Poly isn’t causing me any trouble tbh, it’s just a risk that he could move from head down cos it’s easier for them to move with lots of fluid and apparently when my waters go it’ll be like the great flood 😂
