We’re nearly full so made us another thread!

How is everyone?

I’m 6DPO CD31.. going to be a 40+ day cycle.. as if 30 doesn’t feel long enough!! Nothing to report aside from that.

Kalecat · 27/06/2021 12:44

@Nottherealslimshady omg how cute is he!! 😍 He looks so long!

Nottherealslimshady · 26/06/2021 20:05

Ugh name change fail again 🙄

Nottherealslimshady · 26/06/2021 20:04

@Kalecat wow 1oz bigger than mine, he's beautiful! Sorry the birth was bad, but glad he's here safely. Hope you sort the latch issue, I gave up in the end, he just needed so much food I couldn't keep up. He hit a stone at 5 weeks and is now in 3-6 clothing at 6 weeks 😳 here's our stunner 😍

@kalecat aww he is adorable 😍 congratulations 💕 Thank you for sharing your birth story. Sounds like a tough one . Glad he arrived safe and sound xxx

Kalecat · 26/06/2021 18:07

Hi ladies, just thought I would update. I had my son Everett on Tuesday the 22nd. Very traumatic birth experience... pushed for 3 hours and he didn't even budge. Had a failed attempt at forceps and ultimately had to have a c section. Doctors said I pushed amazing and did more than everything I could have, but baby was simply too big to fit out of my pelvis. Was born a whopping 9lb 4oz... just 1oz less than I was at birth!
Doing well, having some issues latching at the breast so I've been pumping like crazy and have an appointment next week with a lactation consultant.
Hope everyone else is well! ❤️

Dinosaurus86 · 20/06/2021 10:52

Thank you @1992EM! I think I’m the month behind you. 18 weeks now and due 20th November! You must be late October?

1992EM · 19/06/2021 22:43

@nottherealslimshady. Aww thank you 💕 Lovely to hear your wee boy is doing so well. Nothing beats a baby's laugh 💙.

@dinosaurus86 ahh congratulations on your little boy. When is your due date again? We must be pretty close together. I am 22 weeks on Thursday. X

Dinosaurus86 · 19/06/2021 22:04

Ah, congrats @Littlebee1990, @Nottherealslimshady and others whose babies have arrived!

And lovely news about the little girl @1992EM!

I hope it all goes well @Kalecat!

I am impatiently waiting for my 20 week scan, but had a private 16 week one which showed we are having a boy!

Nottherealslimshady · 19/06/2021 21:55

@Kalecat so exciting! Hope it goes well, everything crossed for a good labour for you!

@1992EM so happy you! Can't wait for her to arrive, you must be shopping mad now 😁

Same story as @Littlebee1990 here 😊 our little boy is 5 weeks tomorrow, he's bloody amazing, beautiful and laughing, I can't imagine life without him xx

1992EM · 19/06/2021 20:55

@kalecat how exciting 💕 I hope everything goes well.

We are having a little girl. So exciting and had fun buying some girlie things yesterday.

@littlebee1990 thank you for sharing your experience. I haven't even thought that far ahead 🤣.
I am glad all is going well and what a lovely name for your baby boy 💙 x

Littlebee1990 · 19/06/2021 19:48

Hi All!

Sorry I’ve been AWOL, our little boy Reuben is now 5 weeks old! The birth wasn’t what you dream of (failed induction and went in on Wednesday with a emergency c section on the Saturday) but he’s safe and just wonderful. Being a mummy is everything I hoped for and more, I just adore him so so so much x

Hope everyone else is doing well. Good luck @Kalecat with the induction x

@1992EM so!?! Boy or girl? 😊

I am 38+5 today... being induced Monday as baby is consistently measuring massive. Can't wait to meet my rainbow 🌈

Flittingaboutagain · 23/05/2021 06:38

Congratulations ladies!

I'm now 33 weeks with baby girl. Rose we planted with baby we lost in the summer is doing so well. I feel like he's cheering on this little one.

1992EM · 23/05/2021 05:45

@kalecat fingers crossed baby arrives soon 🥰 . We got a scan at 16 on NHS but that was due to spotting so we weren't asked if we wanted to know gender. Due to covid I didn't think my partner would have got in so it didn't really cross my mind to ask as I wanted us to find out together. Only 3 weeks till we will know . ❤

Kalecat · 23/05/2021 05:37

@1992EM doing well thank you! The pelvic pain is horrible. I can't wait for the next few weeks to pass... I hope he shows up early lol.
I'm like you, there was no way I could wait to find out the gender! In fact we paid for a private scan at 16 weeks to find out extra early 😂

1992EM · 21/05/2021 18:59

@smushty14 ahh not long to go for you now either ❤

@nottherealslimshady glad you were happy with how your birth went. I have got it in my head I will be a section as all females on my mums side have been sections.

I am not fussed either way but we both want to find out at the scan. I think it is a boy but have no idea why I think that and my partner thinks a girl. I am too organised(ocd) and impatient to wait until birth. 🤣

Nottherealslimshady · 21/05/2021 13:28

@Kalecat i have everything crossed it goes well for you. Read up on all the positive birth stories you can. Ours was tough but so many are a dream and tbh I really don't feel bad about the way ours went, we were in control and we brought our little boy into the world safely.

@1992EM glad you're feeling good. Hope the scan goes well, are you hoping one way or the other?

@Smushty14 thank you :) our little one is called Eli 💙

Smushty14 · 21/05/2021 12:32

@Littlebee1990 @Nottherealslimshady ah congratulations ladies!! I'm glad you are both doing well and so are the little ones 💙

Have you had any thoughts on names?

I'm 29 weeks today and we have just gotten back from our mini babymoon to Wales. Was lovely to get away but god the weather was awful!

Oooh @1992EM that's exciting! Are you definitely finding out the gender?

@Kalecat how are you feeling lovely?

1992EM · 20/05/2021 18:15

@kalecat I am good. 17 weeks now and all ok so far. Looking forward to finding out what we are having at our 20 week scan. How are you doing ? x

Kalecat · 20/05/2021 18:11

Ah, sounds stressful ladies!! I'm terrified of a c section, hopefully you're both recovering well!
I plan to be induced at 39 weeks as well due to horrible anxiety.. every day it gets worse. I'm hoping he'll come on his own before then though. We shall see!

@1992EM how have you been?

1992EM · 20/05/2021 17:15

@realslimshady and @littlebee1990 such lovely news . Glad both your boys are doing well and hope you are both recovering too ❤❤❤

Littlebee1990 · 20/05/2021 07:44

@Nottherealslimshady @Kalecat very similar here but 39 weeks and induced due to excess fluid. Induction just didn’t work for me and I refused the drip and waited for an elected section as wanted to avoid emergency. They also said I wouldn’t have been able to deliver him naturally when he was delivered! X

Nottherealslimshady · 20/05/2021 05:49

@Littlebee1990 yay! Congratulations 💙

@Kalecat i was 41 weeks when the induction started. It just didn't take and the hormone drip put me in absolute agony but my cervix wouldn't budge. Babys heart rate was bouncing between sky high and barely there. They said afterwards that from babys position and my cervix when they did the section he would never have come out on his own. Funnily enough, I can't even remember what it felt like!
