@selina37 I don’t think that would last 3 days but I’ll cling onto the hope!! 🤣

selina37 · 31/08/2020 11:21

@LT103 could it be an implantation dip? 🤔

Sleeeeeepy · 31/08/2020 11:06

@LT103 I get too confused with all the different signals, not spotting sounds like a good sign though, fingers crossed!

What is goiNg on here?? 8 dpo acc to ff and last 3 days now my temp has dipped almost to cover line. I’d have thought if it was just oestrogen it would be back up by now. Had some cramps last 2 days but nothing today. No af signs yet and I always spot a few days before period and nothing yet. No idea what’s happening. It’s saying I ovulated on d21. I normally spot at ovulation but didn’t this month so hoping I did actually ovulate.

Hi all, haven’t been on for a few days, just needed a break from overthinking
@SnowWhite1985 sorry to read about everything that’s happened. Stay strong. And some of the posters on the other thread are the reason why I’ve avoided mumsnet for so long....and why it often gets a terrible reputation....
AF is due for me tomorrow, have had my usual headache and chocolate cravings so just waiting for the inevitable now.
Had all my tests back from my GP, said everything was really good and nothing for me to worry about. Just waiting for OH to go for SA but there’s a backlog so he can’t book in until next month. After that then we’ll be referred on to the fertility clinic, although not really sure if there’s a point as won’t be offered anything in the NHS due to my age and OH already having 2 kids and we’ve already said we won’t go for IVF....guess we’ll just have to keep trying and 🤞🏻

GanderousGoose · 30/08/2020 15:07

Hi everyone! I think I am somewhere between 6-8dpo but not sure as not been tracking other than an app. I am testing already Blush although I know it's way too early. Had a chemical earlier this month and had really sore boobs but nothing this cycle (not even the usual cyclical pain) so thinking I won't get a BFP this time. So hard.

CC81 · 30/08/2020 14:14

Update on my temping - my FF app reckons ovulation was day 16 (Thursday).

So my positive OPK (LH) test on day 14 was probably about right. The line has become fainter on days since.

I don't seriously believe we'll have success this cycle, as the high FSH result at the start of the month really dampened my optimism... but there's always some hope when an egg has been released...

@Semele5069 good luck for your testing! Agree probably wise to wait a little.

Had 2 days of temp rise so the blasted apps have confirmed I likely ovulated on CD11 as I thought by other signs (cm, pains). I will try to be more consistent with temps now!

LT103 · 30/08/2020 08:14

6 or 7 dpo here and no spotting so far (usually starts at 8 or 9 dpo) but massive temp dip and really crampy. Hoping she doesn’t come early!!!

Semele5069 · 29/08/2020 16:06

@mouldygrapes I had crampy feelings after my acupuncture as well! I couldn't find anything about it when I googled so good to hear someone else report the same!

@LT103 I'm going to try to hold off till Monday as then I'll be 14dpo and definitely late. I'm away visiting a friend but brought one pregnancy test with me just in case. Ive had 2 early miscarriages so trying not to get too excited early on.

@SnowWhite1985 gosh I just caught up on the thread. So sorry you're having such a hard time but I'm glad you're committing to what you want to do rather than be influenced by someone who doesn't seem to have your best interests at heart. I've had a couple of friends be strung on by promises and excuses only for it to turn out that their OHs were never on board with having children and hoped if they stalled long enough it would stop being an option☹️

Sleeeeeepy · 29/08/2020 10:47

@selina37 It would be too early (I think) because it stopped on CD5 last month, and I've not heard of anyone ovulating that early? LH is also pretty much zero, I love to POAS 🤣

selina37 · 29/08/2020 10:43

@Sleeeeeepy I haven't experienced the period stop/start thing you mention, could it be related to ovulation though? X

selina37 · 29/08/2020 10:42

@SnowWhite1985 glad you are feeling much more positive. You will have ups and downs no doubt but your positivity shines through.

@LT103 I know the spotting feeling, it ruins any excitement of the TWW. I wonder though, if we would still spot if pregnant. 🤔

Sleeeeeepy · 29/08/2020 10:36

@SnowWhite1985 A Facebook group I'm in which started as a MN thread has an awesome single mum in it who used a donor. Her daughter is two and they are such a beautiful family.

I'm glad you're in a better place, as you say there will be hard times, but your ex sounds so manipulative, I think you'll look back and be glad you found out when you did. Sending hugs and hopefully see you back here soon 😊

I hope the rest of you ladies are having a good weekend. I'm on CD5 and AF has slowed to almost nothing. Last month I had 4 days, then a 2 day gap, then another 3 days of period which took up half my fertile window. Has anyone else had this?

Thank you @CC81 - I didn’t want to interrupt the genuine ttc posts here, but posting again gave me a little sense of closure (I wasn’t really looking for advice or anything, and it will likely be my last post about what happened).
I hope your private fertility tests go ok next week. I’ll be sending all good vibes your way! I’m going to make an appt for those tests too as it’s the final piece of the puzzle and my home AMH test was the only red flag in all my results. I hope the repeat FSH test is more positive when you get it too.
I’ve been reading lots more about having a baby via donor insemination. I also mentioned I was thinking about it to a couple of real life friends, who were really supportive. Both said I’d clearly thought it through and that if anyone could do it and bring up a loved and stable kid it would be me. So that was nice to hear and it was helpful to talk about it IRL too.
These decisions were made easier by how my (now-ex) partner acted. I’m feeling good and pretty positive right now (although I’m sure I will have a few major low points along the way as these are massive life changes - my whole world got tipped upside down).
Thanks for writing - it means a lot 🤗 hugs to you and to my other supportive friends on here, you’ve been so great xxx

LT103 · 29/08/2020 10:03

Sorry to hear af is here @selina37 😢

Either 5 or 6 dpo here (apps can’t agree and my bbt got messed up by not sleeping), no symptoms and trying to not be crazy and wish away days of my life!! Will probably test next weekend if af not here. Due on 5th but I always spot a good few days before hand which kind of takes away the excitement of a possible pregnancy 🙄

selina37 · 29/08/2020 09:51

@Semele5069 ooh sounds promising! Lots of luck!

Cd1 for me here 🙄

Probably not a bad thing though; we are in the process of buying and selling a house. Should get hycosy test this month too🤞🏻

How's everyone else?

LT103 · 29/08/2020 09:49

@Semele5069 exciting!! Are you planning to test or wait and see?

CC81 · 29/08/2020 09:43

@SnowWhite1985 - Just seen your update on the other thread. Massive well done for being so strong and getting rid of your horrid partner, especially after his ridiculous final diatribe. Your new life can soon begin 😊 xxx

Semele5069 · 29/08/2020 09:20

I'm getting cautiously excited- my period was due yesterday/today but nothing yet and I don't have any PMS symptoms. My usual tell is very sore boobs 2 days before my period starts but I keep having a sneaky grope and they don't hurt at all!

selina37 · 29/08/2020 09:11

@ShouldEyeShouldntEye I'd wait if I was you. BFNs (which it's likely to be at 5dpo) just seem to bring me down and I'd rather try and live in hope for as long as possible!

I'd try and wait until at least 10dpo 🙂

ShouldEyeShouldntEye · 29/08/2020 08:59

Hi All,

5 DPO here. I have a very achy cervix which I normally get just before AF. Never get it at this point on my cycle so not sure what that means. Desperate not to test early. When do you guys normally hold out til?

I hope everyone has a relaxing bank holiday weekend. It seems summer has well and truly ended.

Mumtotwofurbabies · 29/08/2020 08:39

Can I join? 😊. Decided to start trying for our second this cycle (will have just turned 35). I’m a natural worrier so a bit nervous about being a bit older, especially with all the doom and gloom about being over 35 which I should ignore really. Got pregnant easily with our DD (who is now 2.5. Husband is a lot more relaxed about it all, thinks it will happen really easily again ha. I used to get ovulation pain which was painful but actually quite useful as it made the timing easier 😂. But since my periods came back I don’t get it every month which has made me worry I m not ovulating each month. Although I distinctly remember last time worrying the pain meant something was wrong so as I said I always find something to worry about. 😃 We’re sure I want another but also sometimes think what are we doing?!? 😂😂. Predicting fertile window will be around 20th September.

CurlyNo2 · 28/08/2020 23:10

AF due today but not arrived. I was having some bright red bleeds a week ago for 2 days when I wiped and nothing for the past 4 days, just odd bits of brown staining. Got cramps like AF is on her way, think she may be here tomorrow.

mouldygrapes · 28/08/2020 22:58

My phone is being weird and won’t let me tag you Maddie - sorry, not sure re clomid and whether it could be affecting your bleeding. Hope it settles soon.

@Highlandmama sorry, here’s to next month

@CC81 good luck for tests next week
