BBT chart help please

@Tink2019 AF arrived the next day after posting so I'm CD3 here. I'm glad it came as I'd spotted all that cycle and thought something was messed up after my miscarriage, I feel a bit more positive going into this one and hoping the same spotting doesn't happen again! 🤞 for you!

@ARIO @Tink2019 6-9dpo is perfect timing for a secondary oestrogen surge which causes a dip in temp so sounds like you've got a healthy chart going. I'm afraid implantation dips are a bit of a myth when it comes to BBT!

My temp today was in line with the others but should probably be discarded as my OH put my thermometer away without me knowing, so I had to get up this morning to find it before taking my temp 😅. Tempted to leave it in though!

Hey all! FF have finally given me crosslines. I'm just 3dpo and I KNOW it's far too early but having really bad back ache this morning. Maybe I just slept awkwardly haha.

@Tink2019 dare I say.. Implantation dip? Its about the right time. Fingers crossed!!

@Juno231 @ARIO @Littlebee1990 @Stabal how are you all doing ladies? I'm 7dpo now and had a bit of a drop in temp today, but still way above the cover line, so putting it down to a very unsettled 💤

@ario ha my OH has yet to wake from the beeps! He's usually a corpse at 6am so I could get away with anything then.

Hooha haha! Yes I've heard that can be more accurate! Don't think I can bring myself to do that. It's annoying that the thermometers beep... Can't do it subtly haha. X

@ario you're right - it's def a trend thing. Also depends on the thermometer. I will say though that charts where the woman temps using her hooha (on a work laptop so don't want to use the V-word) are muuuuuch smoother. Way more accurate that way.

FF won't confirm until it's been 3 high temps so fingers crossed it will give you a solid crosshair tomorrow!

Also, I think inaccuracies are sooo common with bbt. This morning I took my temp twice 3 minutes apart (just laid there for 3 mins and didn't do anything) and my temp went from 36.35 to 36.47! Just goes to show we definitely need to look at averages and the overall picture rather than each individual day and temp xx

Morning all! How is everyone today? My temp has creeped up a tiny bit but FF still not identified ov date yet. I'm going with I'm 2dpo based on the other symptoms and opks. Hope everyone is OK x

@Juno231 EWCM has been off and on between being watery. Like it's back today and a little white. I have PCOS so I take the OPKs which a pinch of salt so once I thought I ovulated I didn't do anymore. I did have a peak reading on CD21 but like I say I don't religiously count that. My luteal phase is normally a little longer but it was 13 days last cycle after my miscarriage. Such a weird waiting game isn't it!

@Tink2019 haha that describes me too! I couldn't imagine NOT temping for the rest of the cycle.

I want to hold off testing until 11DPO/aka Thurs next week. We're going away to the beach for the long weekend with friends and would want to know whether I can drink or not! Am going to try for a zen TWW, normally I get a bit impatient in the second week.

@Juno231 I'm not a tester, I just wait for AF to rock up, although I did test last cycle because we wanted to go to the pub once they'd opened and I was getting close to AF. When will you start testing?

@ARIO I keep charting as I too like having full data! But I do end up analysing every little drop and rise so might get my husband to write down my temps each morning then I'll add to my apps when AF gets here...he wasn't thrilled when I suggested this to him 😂

@stabal well FF has given you dotted crosshairs which means it's not sure if CD22 is correct either. Did you have any more EWCM/did you use any OPKs past CD22? I could kinda be either, as a fallback rise on 3DPO isn't unusual. I think the timing of AF's arrival will be the only thing able to confirm it - how long is your LP normally?

@Juno231 Hi.. Me again lol. AF due today but temp on the rise. Don't think I'm pregnant due to the weird spotting I had throughout my cycle this month. Do you think it's possible I actually ovulated CD25 instead of CD22 meaning I'm only 11 DPO instead of 14 and that would explain why my temp hasn't gone down yet?

@ARIO I'm tracking throughout - I'd like the complete picture purely out of enjoyment of collating data lol. You?

@ARIO per the dip it looks like you ovulated yesterday! Glad to see it drop :)

@Juno231 that's good your temps have shot up, sounds like we both definite O'd on Sunday...now to ride the awful TWW!

@ARIO I reckon you O'd last night - hopefully your temp will go up tomorrow which would be a good indicator.

Morning! @Juno231 mines dipped slightly but not back to where it was. Opk has gone from blaring positive yesterday pm to negative this morning so perhaps I ovd overnight?

@ARIO what's the update? :) mine has shot up today so I feel a lot more comfortable that I did indeed ovulate on Sunday.

@Tink2019 yes that looks good! Tbh I find a lot of this charting malarkey is just tweaking it until it agrees with your own thoughts 😅

I've attached my chart from this month. Says I ovulated same day as my peak OPK but my OPKs were so weird and erratic last week and my temp increase so low that I'm doubting all of it tbh.

@Juno231 I switched it from advanced to FAM (no idea what the difference is, but saw it recommenced) yesterday and it didn't make a difference to the chart - just switched it back and still saying CD15 for O. BUT, just unmarked my CD10 abnormal temp (went to bed and woke up with a migraine so assumed that why temp spiked) incase that was throwing it off and now it's showing O as CD18... reckon this is probably correct?!

The temps are so borderline it's very frustrating - but taking ewcm and opk into account I'd say CD18 as well! Is your chart setting set to advanced rather than FAM as that should take cm and OPKs into account?
