Hello!!

Thought I’d start a group for all you ladies that are currently trying or have recently been trying in the hope to test early August.

Would be good to have the support during and give each other advice and positivity!

I’m on my 2nd month TTC and had my peak days on 19th/20th July. Earliest I can test is 31st. AF due 5th.

Wishing you all the best of luck!! Smile

Hi all! Please can I join along? AF is due August 1st I'm currently cd25 I believe (tracking cm) I ovulated cd17 (July 18th) so I'm now 8dpo I think. This is all new to me haha. I caved at 7dpo and tested got a bfn. But I've had the most symptoms on this day. All day mild cramps, twinges, pulling and warm sensations. Hot flushes and dizzy spells. On off nausea. Constantly urinating (woke up during the night last 2 nights which I NEVER do just for a pee)

Sending all the baby dust to you ladies!

KatieFH · 25/07/2020 22:58

@Lettie365 hello! Of course! Have you had any symptoms at all yet? I’m only 5DPO and feel sick but that could just be nothing I guess! X

Hi Ladies may I join please? Think AF should be due 1/2nd Aug. About 8DPO x

KatieFH · 25/07/2020 21:29

@LittleChicken11 hi of course you can join and I’m so sorry to hear about what happened to you, I hope you’re doing ok.
I think peaks can easily be missed, if you aren’t testing 2/3 times a day then I’ve read the surge can happen within the space of 2 hours sometimes so you miss it but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Sometimes I think not obsessing over tests and just trying regularly is more likely to work! Glad you are feeling positive, that will help lots!! X

Can I join too? AF due 8th August. Didn’t get a peak on OPK cheapies this month (or last month) but feeling positive anyway. Been TTC for over a year now since MMC in Jan Dec 2018.

KatieFH · 25/07/2020 10:14

@Riviera90 hiya!! I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, you got your peak so that’s the main thing! Fingers crossed for you! X

KatieFH · 25/07/2020 10:12

@HollyWell hello! I think you have the right idea, just see what happens and don’t obsess over tests and timings too much, I think the stress can make it not happen anyway!
Welcome to the group & fingers crossed for you!! Could be a first month BFP!
@AlreadyThere hiya! So sorry to hear about all the troubles you’ve gone through! I can imagine it’s exhausting for you. I think you have the best attitude ever, not test obsessing and just trying to conceive and seeing how it goes!
Everything crossed for you, it’ll happen! X
Thanks Katie. I have no choice but to keep positive, there was a point I was not and it drove me crazy!

Thanks for the positive vibes! It will happen, I believe it!

Riviera90 · 24/07/2020 23:29

Hi

Please can I join?

AF is due 6th August.

I seem to have ovulated late this month as got my peak on my clear blue advanced digital yesterday morning on CD23.

Hoping I’ve done enough this month as mine did exactly the same as you @ARIO and went straight from low to peak!

Has anyone else had this? I don’t know if it’s worrying that it hasn’t picked up an increase in estrogen? I’ve only ever used Clear blue digital before so never had a flashing smiley.

Good luck everyone...🤞🏻 this is our month!!

HollyWell · 24/07/2020 22:12

Hi ladies!
I’m very new to this so I hope I get all the terminology right!! First month TTC for us - I’m CD 17 and have no real idea when I ovulated. I use Flo and used to completely trust it until I read others saying it was not reliable for them! According to that it should have been 20th July. I have decided not to use OPKs or to test until missed period but we’ll see how long that lasts as our journey continues! AF due on 4th Aug so keeping my fingers crossed! I’ve found these threads so helpful - it’s so nice to know that others are feeling the same as me! Good luck everyone!

KatieFH · 24/07/2020 22:00

@ARIO hello! Should be all good as the peak is the surge in LH before ovulation so they are the best times to DTD! Sounds promising!

I’m cycle day 23 and 4dpo. The wait is killing me now! X

Hey all. I'm in another August thread on here but thought I'd join this too as there are many with similar dates. I'm due 6th August. I'm currently CD 15 and I think I'm 1dpo. We had planned to started bding once I got my first high on clearblue advanced. However, frustratingly it went from negative one day to peak the next so bd'd that night and the next night.. Hopefully we've caught it but didn't do any in the days before 🤔 We shall see.. Now for the dreaded 2ww.

KatieFH · 24/07/2020 21:52

@BEESY90 it’s hard to tell on the line ones I find. Much easier on clearblue digital as just tells you when your high and peak days are. But if it’s getting lighter it may have been? Have you been DTD regularly? X

OP posts:
Navabb34 · 24/07/2020 21:47

@Nls90x I'm not planning to until missed period. This is my first official month of TTC and I've read so much on here about disappointment of bfn, chemical pregnancies and faint lines i don't think I could cope with the disappointment and questioning. I'm sure this may change and I'll be testing earlier as my ttc journey continues though!
When are you planning to test?
I feel completely normal at the moment. No symptoms at all.

BEESY90 · 24/07/2020 21:30

Well they have started lightening up again today. So confused!! X

KatieFH · 24/07/2020 21:20

@BEESY90 when did you take these? These are strong lines suggesting ovulation is about to happen! If the left line gets darker than the right then it’s defo a peak! X

AlreadyThere · 24/07/2020 21:16

Hi all- allow me to join please.

Third cycle TTC. Before then I was recovering from surgery to remove fibroids and endo (had surgery in Feb). Prior to Feb I had been TTC for 7 months after another fibroids surgery last year June. I have been diagnosed with PCOS as well so I am in the process of trying to lose weight.

I have decided to do away with test kits this month. My periods are irregular so currently DH and I are on mission to BD at least every other day since day 7 after last AF. Clue app says fertility period is coming up next week so we will see. No crazy monitoring for me this month. It has gotten a bit exhausting.

Goodluck everyone 🙏🏽❤️

KatieFH · 24/07/2020 21:00

@BEESY90 I use the clearblue digital tests. They can get expensive doing them each day but I find they are the most accurate and easy to read. Flashing smiley face means high fertility and static smiley face means peak fertility (ovulation/just before ovulation)

Nls90x · 24/07/2020 20:55

@Navabb34 good luck. When will you be testing? I’ve got cramps tonight hoping they are good cramps :) x

KatieFH · 24/07/2020 20:48

@BEESY90 of course! I will try my best to help and give advice as I’ve become addicted to using the ovulation tests! X

@shinylovesshoes
@Navabb34
@AlwaysLay8
@Nls90x

Hi guys of course come join in!! Excited you are same dates!!
@AlwaysLay8 don’t worry about having a glass of wine and coffee, I think the stress of it all means you need it sometimes to relax and I think stress can be more damaging from things I’ve read! Plus most people don’t even know they are pregnant in the early weeks and carry on as normal. Don’t beat yourself up about it.
I’ve been acting as I normally would but not having 4 coffees a day, having just the one on a morning and I don’t really drink anyway but I did have a beer in a beer garden today, I can’t see the harm unless you are binge drinking and getting hammered ha, obviously things change when you do get the BFP of course

I am going to France (driving) on 31st of July and Disneyland Paris on the 5th - 7th aug, if I find out I’m pregnant over there then I’m thinking I’ll be avoiding the rides!!

OP posts:
shinylovesshoes · 24/07/2020 20:47

@BEESY90 do you mean something like clearblue? I used one this month to see if my app/pains were right. It confirmed they were so I probably won’t bother again but was good to know

shinylovesshoes · 24/07/2020 20:46

@AlwaysLay8 I’ve had coffee and I had a drink last night....I really don’t want it to take over my life, I’m 41 so know time isn’t one my side but equally don’t want to stress too much. It’s my 2nd official month of tracking etc, although have been trying for 6 months but decided have to be a bit more targeted
