Hello!!

Thought I’d start a group for all you ladies that are currently trying or have recently been trying in the hope to test early August.

Would be good to have the support during and give each other advice and positivity!

I’m on my 2nd month TTC and had my peak days on 19th/20th July. Earliest I can test is 31st. AF due 5th.

Wishing you all the best of luck!! Smile

Congratulations @KatieFH and @Lettie365 they are lovely BFPs! 🥳

When are you testing? I think I’ll test at 10dpo on Sunday. So nervous!

@LemonDrizzle44 I’m also 8dpo today. Absolutely no symptoms though.

Riviera90 · 31/07/2020 15:11

@KatieFH Let’s hope so! 💜

It’s nice to know I’ve got some company @chillyfields x I haven’t had symptoms at all but the last two months I was symptom spotting like crazy and had convinced myself I was pregnant both months! So trying to relax a little this month although it’s now over a year since I came off the pill and started our TTC journey... 🤞🏻 we both get our BFP next week!

LemonDrizzle44 · 31/07/2020 15:08

Congratulations @KatieFH & @Lettie365

I'm 8 DPO today. I've been nauseous for the past 2 days and had this weird "stitch" /mild cramp feeling low down (similar to my usual ovulation pain). The nausea is worse today but I'm hoping it's not because of the heat 😂.
My temps have been a bit all over the place and probably not accurate as i haven't been sleeping well and waking a different times. Guess I will just try and hold off testing for a few more days!

KatieFH · 31/07/2020 13:52

I have a feeling this thread could be good luck for many! 💜

@Riviera90 I'm exactly the same dates as you - 7DPO today too. This is my first month tracking ovulation with OPKs, so not 100% sure when I'm due. Between 4-8 August though, so there could be a result by 10DPO if I've implanted already (had weird cramps and stuff yesterday). Will be hoping for a BFP for us both!

Riviera90 · 31/07/2020 12:07

Congratulations @KatieFH and @Lettie365!!! So happy for you x

I really want to test but know it’s way too early...7DPO and due on Weds 5th Aug which will be 12DPO...when would you start testing? I was thinking maybe Monday at 10DPO?

LaughingDonkey · 31/07/2020 11:01

@KatieFH @chillyfields

Thank you! The story about slim friend gives me hope :)

Thank you for the good vibes, I would eat a bag of lucky clover if it would help Grin

Thank you, I do feel a bit better!!!

chillyfields · 31/07/2020 09:31

@KatieFH I can imagine. Annoying how the goalposts keep changing isn't it? I'm desperate to see two lines appear, but I know that even if I see them I won't relax until the doctor confirms it, then won't feel confident until 12 weeks, then ongoing anxiety until I actually give birth...

@LaughingDonkey I really feel for you but hang on in there! Sending good vibes your way 🍀

KatieFH · 31/07/2020 08:24

@chillyfields thanks so much! Won’t believe it fully till I see the digital say it haha x

@LaughingDonkey hello! Don’t worry yourself (easier said than done) my friend is very slim low bmi can’t put on weight and it took her a bit longer than everyone else but it happened! Don’t lose hope. You’ve had all the tests and things are good so that’s great news! It’ll happen when you least expect it to! X

Congratulations @KatieFH and @Lettie365! So excited for you both!

LaughingDonkey · 31/07/2020 08:09

Hi! May I join too, please? I don't know why I'm even posting this... Blush

Congratulations to ladies with BFP! Flowers

We have been trying to TTC for over 6 months now (I have lost my count). I'm 35 and my OH is 39. I had blood tests done for hormones, thyroid and general wellbeing - all good, however very low BMI (tried to gain weight for years to no avail).

I have used a ''My Calendar'' app, various ovulation sticks (cost small fortune) and tried to ''listen'' to my body for all of the TTC time... This cycle I have ditched ovulation sticks and just did the deed around calculated ovulation time every day :)

Cycle length is 26 days, ovulation was predicted on 27th and AF is due on 9th of August!

I guess my main issue is that I ''feel pregnant'' every time, however it is wishful thinking as I end up crying pretty much every time tests are negative followed by glorious arrival of AF :(

I suppose I have posted for handhold...

LorrieLu · 31/07/2020 07:23

Yep for sure @HouseOfRunners
I'll do one tomorrow and will let you know the results! Let us know how you go as well.

KatieFH · 31/07/2020 07:19

@40ttc that does sound promising as they say light spotting is implantation! I have my fingers crossed for you!!

@LorrieLu there’s still time yet! Don’t lose hope on no line, keep testing and see what happens.

I have felt absolutely no symptoms at all this month apart from being bloated but I’m usually bloated anyway! I did yell at my partner and cry yesterday Cos he was on his phone too much not listening to me though haha!

Fingers crossed for you all and hoping this thread is full of good luck! X

@KatieFH what brilliant news! I caved in today & did my clear blue early detection & I don't even have the slightest hint of a line so yours definately looks like you are pregnant if you are due the day after me xxx

HouseOfRunners · 31/07/2020 06:55

@LorrieLu we should do one a day each now and see what happens 😄

HouseOfRunners · 31/07/2020 06:54

@KatieFH I think you should wait to nearer AF to do the clear blue digital....the sensitivity is much less than the ic and the FRER....so I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed ❤️

LorrieLu · 31/07/2020 06:41

@KatieFH I would give it another day or so before doing a digital. In past experience I have had a faint positive on the cheap tests and the cb digital didn't show up until a few days later.
@HouseOfRunners I originally thought about 3rd August but could be up to a week after that. Sooo annoying! I wish I had tested to find out the day of ovulation. So hard to resist testing haha I have a heap of cheapies as well so I might do another one tomorrow.

KatieFH · 31/07/2020 06:25

Thank you guys! Do I need to wait to do a clearblue now do you think? I’m so impatient ahaha! My partner won’t get excited until he sees the words pregnant!

OP posts:
HouseOfRunners · 31/07/2020 06:22

@LorrieLu do you have any idea of when AF is/approximately should be?
I got carried away and tested today (waaaaaaaaaay too early) and of course it was negative. Got a pile of ic’s so thought I’d join in 😂

LorrieLu · 31/07/2020 05:50

That's amazing @KatieFH !
Defiantly stronger than the last one! I'm so happy for you. I caved and did a test this morning and it was negative. My cycle is a bit irregular so I don't have an exact date of ovulation. I'll see what the next week brings for me.

HouseOfRunners · 31/07/2020 05:46

@KatieFH 🥳❤️ Congratulations

HouseOfRunners · 31/07/2020 05:45

@Lettie365 wow that’s a strong line you’ve got there! Congratulations 🥳

And @KatieFH woohoo!! 🙌🏼 There is no mistaking that line today - knew you’d do another even with France in the schedule 😄

@40ttc you are 7 days late for AF? Have you tested?

KatieFH · 31/07/2020 05:45

Had to try squeeze a second wee out for this 😂

Up early to drive to France and got this! Can’t push anymore wee out to do a FRER but going to drink a coffee and some water and try it anyway and hope it picks something up!!
