@SmileyT I just saw this after I posted, are you ok? Why do you think something might be wrong xx

Lollol86 · 01/08/2020 08:20

@SmileyT I'll keep testing the Femometer and see what happens. That's good to know about the calc Fluor xx

VP91x · 01/08/2020 08:19

Morning ladies 🥰 I've got so much to catch up on since yesterday morning, so going to sit down with a cup of tea and read through it all.

CD10 here both apps have me ovulating on Friday so will start doing OPKs from CD12/13 I think.

Hope everyone is okay?

Xx

@Jazper thank you, will keep doing them every 4 hours today's 😊

SmileyT · 01/08/2020 08:17

@Lollol86 yep you don't always get flashys I had 2/3 months that jumped straight to static 👌🏾 CB will turn static when it catches the start of the surge, i reckon if you kept testing with femometer opks you'd catch your peak later or could've been last night. And calc flour are good for you so no reason not to take them throughout cycle and pregnancy from what I read x

@MichT4 ooh love a temp rise 🥳 and scan wise I've decided to go for one tomorrow as I think I may be losing this bean aswell which I've told OH (and he has been in tears this morning 😭) so we'll go in tomorrow and see where we are at x

Jazper · 01/08/2020 08:12

That will peak today @Lollol86 ! I think it's just because the cb is more sensitive that it shows sooner. That EWCM was impressive by the way! 😂

Jazper · 01/08/2020 08:11

@Mommybear05
I will be in to my 6th cycle if af arrives next week so I get how long the road is feeling for you. I have always conceived with ease, I was convinced I would be well in to another pregnancy by now. It took until my 5th cycle to actually get my ovulation to happen when it would have done pre mc so just waiting to see if and when af shows now. Good going on the 12+ months of feeding by the way (fellow extended bf'er here too 🙋🏽‍♀️) I too didn't ovulate until 12 months bf'ing either so I think my hormones just go mad, like yours.
How long many cycles did it take for you to fall pregnant after your af returned? X

Lollol86 · 01/08/2020 08:06

@ive just done a Femometer and that's still not showing peak, it's showing high at 51%

MichT4 · 01/08/2020 07:58

@Lollol86 I think you can keep taking them because they are generally good for you. I'm not entirely sure though if and when to stop. I'm sure someone will know here

Lollol86 · 01/08/2020 07:57

@Pugprincess how far past ovulation are you? Xx

Lollol86 · 01/08/2020 07:54

@MichT4 I'll start today then. Would you just stop them if you got a positive pregnancy test? Xx

MichT4 · 01/08/2020 07:40

@Lollol86 any time! You can take it throughout your cycle so might as well start today!

Lollol86 · 01/08/2020 07:39

@MichT4 yea it's just really strange that I didn't get a flashy before this static which I always have done. I'm just glad it's finally here. So my next question do I start the calc Fluor today or tomorrow?

MichT4 · 01/08/2020 07:32

@Lollol86 so the EWCM was a sign, it's peak time! It's great it's all lined up! So
If you can DTD today and the next two 🤞🏼

@SmileyT yeah I'm looking forward to that. It'll be lovely. My temp has shot up again, but as usual, not taking any chances, so will keep DTD. Can't not in a nice new setting!
Enjoy your nice chilled weekend. Your scan is next week now! Yay!!

@Pugprincess how many DPO are you? Fingers crossed it gets darker for you

xx

Lollol86 · 01/08/2020 07:24

I'm really confused just done a cb and it's gone straight to static I didn't get a flashy face. What's going on?

SmileyT · 01/08/2020 07:03

@MichT4 hope you have a fab break, hopefully some time just enjoying eachother and not thinking about ttc. I'll definitely get on MAFS this weekend 👌🏾

@Mommybear05 yeah definitely makes sense to see what the other GP says before you go private, I feel like it's just pot luck as to whether the Dr has sympathy for ttc if not I feel like the standard line is 'it's fine it's not been that long' ironically hungover feeling has completely gone now 😩

@Pugprincess ahh 🤞 it turns into a strong line for you in a few days xx

Pugprincess · 01/08/2020 06:58

I know it’s super early guys but I am getting a faint second line. I just hope it’s something from a new pregnancy and not the old one but I was pretty sure there was no faint lines when I last took preg tests before ovulation cause I wanted to make sure I didn’t get this confusion between old and new. Just praying it gets darker. Me and DH can see it. I’m probably just going insane in the tww.

chloedancer897 · 01/08/2020 00:18

@MichT4 she's called Luna. We have 2 Harry Potter mad kids so we also have a cat called Lupin. She's a great addition to the family and the kids love her x

Pugprincess · 31/07/2020 23:44

@MichT4 we are lucky in that we have our in laws that love to have him any chance they get 😅 so he spends his days there when we are both working and if we went away we would leave him with them. We haven’t been away since our honeymoon in 2017 though. Had holidays here though and take him with us lol. It definitely gives you somebody else to care for and give love and cuddles to which I think helps when you feel like you have empty arms from all the ttc, mc and fertility issues. Xx

MichT4 · 31/07/2020 23:00

Oh my gosh @chloedancer897, so adorable! What's her name?

Ooh you lot have filled me with so much joy with all your furry friends this evening xx

chloedancer897 · 31/07/2020 22:45

@MichT4 we got a TTC puppy nearly 2 years ago now after my OH found me sobbing in the kitchen. Never looked back. She's amazing

2020wish · 31/07/2020 22:43

@MichT4 thank you :) I have two of them, plus a tabby and a long haired chihuahua lol

MichT4 · 31/07/2020 22:35

@2020wish your cat is gorgeous! Those eyes!!

Thank you all for your help on the dog decision. I had my eye on a couple of potential pups. I might look into it a little more. @Pugprincess I think like you, id enjoy the reason to walk. I always want to go out walking more but find reasons not to, and it would force me to and probably do me good.
I think my biggest concern is the restriction and whether now it feels like it wouldn't be that bad because we haven't been anywhere. But once life gets back to normal (if it does!) will I change my mind. That said, we are planning for a baby so that's a pretty big commitment too 😂

@Jazper really useful things to consider - thank you!

@Mommybear05 yeah I've seen a couple. Same breeder/litter but different colours. They are gorgeous. I know it'll be comfort and great company, it's just a decision I could make so easily without thinking too much. Maybe that's the best way.

Also, with you on the OH thing. Mine is super positive and chilled which is great, I think it's best that way. It keeps me more positive. I think the same, if he was worrying I'd be worse. He broke down once when I was pg the last time, saying he was so scared it would happen again, then when I started spotting more, I was scared to tell him. I feel like one has to be strong and it made it harder when I felt like we were both struggling. Sounds selfish as I also don't want him to hide how he feels, but I think if we were both worried we would find it harder

xx

calimommy · 31/07/2020 22:26

@Mommybear05 wow no periods till 13 months is amazing. Even with round the clock feeding my periods come back a few weeks after.

Mommybear05 · 31/07/2020 22:22

@Jazper yes I think it’s good that they can be like that though(the men) as I think if my hubby cried and got emotional like I do we would both be emotional wrecks all the time haha. Today I said to him I don’t want optimism I just don’t want a hug. And that was the best thing he did for me. Aw you’re in the 2ww? Fingers crossed for you xx yes I’d keep saying it’s true every single cycle it gets harder and harder to wait and the spotting/ af is more and more of a kick in the nuts. But then you’re right it’s shortly followed by that strange feeling of optimism again thinking this is another cycle, another egg, another chance. My hubby says when we conceive again all this will be forgotten but I don’t think I’ll ever forget these feelings xx
