TTC after MC - July/August 2020 (Thread 8)

@Jazper no I’m better now I’m not working and I’ve since quit one of my two jobs so I will have much more free time. I’ve also gone from agency to contract so I have some stability. But I am worried how I will be mentally if I don’t get pregnant again. The hope is the main thing keeping me going. I’ve always said even if I only ever had one baby I would be happy. I just want to experience it. I loved every minute of being pregnant last time, I only got to 8 weeks and unfortunately the last couple of weeks were blighted with steadily worsening brown discharge and worry. I had my hopes raised when I had a private scan that showed a smaller baby but heartbeat and no bleeding in uterus (since learned the placenta or baby may have blocked the view of the bleeding) as the next day everything began to start going very wrong. I feel like I saw my baby the last day it was alive 😞

Oh @Pugprincess I hadn't realised you had been trying for so long. I feel lucky that I have the children I have but I am desperate for one with my OH. That feeling of elation when I got my first positive test keeps going round in my head and every time I poas, I'm so desperately willing a second line to appear. And when it doesn't I am absolutely devastated.
Are you feeling as depressed now? As you said it was back in March?

@SmileyT I really hope this is just a symptom fluctuation for you. I'm happy you don't have long to wait. Stick on new girl and MAFS today and put your feet up. Thinking of you and sending all the positive vibes your way xx

@Jazper this could be implantation, but I know what you mean when you don't want to get your hopes up. Just see what happens over the next few days, but try not to panic yet

@Jazper yes I’m struggling too, it’s all I think about 😩😞 the desire to be pregnant is such a strong one and now after 5 years I managed it I just want it back so bad. That’s what I felt made my mc even harder, cause conceiving wasn’t easy for me and I feel like it was a weird fluke. I just pray it will happen again soon because to be honest with you all I’ve felt really low and almost suicidal over this over the years. Back in March I was so tearful and down and I remember telling a friend that I just hated my life, I was never home, always working, and I hated it. I struggle to find other reasons to go on. I’ve told myself I can have dogs, adopt, go on luxury holidays and have a nice car and house if it doesn’t happen but to be honest all I want to be is a stay at home mum now. Lockdown has really made me go from working all the time to not wanting to go back. X

I really hope tomorrow's scan shows you a healthy baby @SmileyT . Are you still testing? Your line was so strong and the lack of symptoms could really just be normal. In fact, I didn't get sickness until 8/9 weeks with mine. You would be 8ish weeks now, is that right?

@VP91x @Lollol86 @MichT4 @MrsK21 @Northernsoul90 it's nothing conclusive but the main thing that's making me feel this way is because my Resting Heart Rate has plummeted and all symptoms are gone and this was my first sign with the last MMC. I'm honestly trying to stay positive but I just have a feeling (which I know sounds completely ridiculous) anyway I'm just going to try and just get through the next 24hrs and enjoy not feeling nauseous, whatever happens I actually feel more prepared for it this time x

@VP91x are you doing CB opks this month? Or just sticking to the cheapies? X

Thank you @Pugprincess , they only thing holding the tears back is the faint hope it could be implantation. Gah, this journey is so bloody hard xx

@Jazper your not out yet I’ve read cramping and a bit of coloured discharge is common implantation symptoms. Your period would be really early at this point, that would be a short luteal phase. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Ladies 😫 8dpo and I've woke up to discoloured discharge. I didn't have huge hopes for this month as I've had period type pains but I was all set for my cycle regulating and coming on time not early 😢

@VP91x oh no, why the delay? Is he a puppy?

Yes we go today, we can't check in til 3 so have a bit of time first.
My temp shot up again this morning, and FF says I ovulated 3 days ago but again, this can all change. I've attached my chart xx

Yeah our evening was good, just chilled at home, DTD and that was about it 😂. We finished unsolved mysteries on Netflix - really good! One random one about UFO's but it was a series worth a watch I think. I like watching real crime stuff though - weird like that 😂

Ahh I'm so tempted. I just have to get my head round the lifestyle change. I'm sure if we got one, the worries would just disappear but it's hard to imagine not being able to just go somewhere for a night or whatever. Although OHs parents live near and have a collie now so I know we'd have help. When does your pup arrive? xx

@MichT4 I have 2 chihuahuas and they are my babies! They have got me through so many hard times (mc included). Dogs are a big commitment and can be very tying but they bring so much joy I think you should go for it! I love my dogs so much 🥰

I was off social media yesterday and missed out on a lot! Love seeing everyone's photos of their pets, OH and I are hoping to get a kitten at some point as I'm working from home for the foreseeable future and it gets a bit lonely. Although we love dogs, I'm allergic! 😞
