@VP91x marking my place on new thread and also just wanted to check in on you, I know nothing has changed overnight but hoping you're feeling positive this morning and if not feel free to vent xx

HopeForRainbowbaby · 24/07/2020 06:20

Thanks for new thread @VP91x

Rainbowhope11 · 24/07/2020 04:08

@VP91x ah my lovely, I'm so sorry that you've had that diagnosis today. A few years back, I was given the same diagnosis after i had trouble regaining my cycle after coming off the pill. I eventually went back on the pill to regulate my hormones as I wasn't trying to conceive at the time.

I agree with @MichT4, you've won half the battle because you at least get fairly regular AF. Also, the pregnitude supplement (inofolic in the UK) is actually recommended to women with PCOS all the time as it helps to regulate ovulation. Please look into it and see if you think it's worth trying😊 Some doctors actually recommend it first before jumping straight to clomid.

Please try not to beat yourself up about it lovely. At least you know what's going on now and you can work towards finding a solution that works for you. Sending you a massive hug! Xx

Hi all, I'm here laughing because I've dropped off a bit from MN as I needed a break from obsessing about pissing on strips of paper 🙄 and I realise I've missed Threads 5,6 & 7. You are a busy lot!!

I haven't read anything yet but I hope everyone is keeping well enough! I'll try have a read later to catch up x

fafi · 24/07/2020 00:00

Hey! Thanks for the new thread, I'm in the BFP club (🤞🏼 it sticks this time) xx

Pugprincess · 23/07/2020 21:21

@VP91x thanks for new thread and glad to see your feeling a little more positive ❤️

Pugprincess · 23/07/2020 21:20

@Mommybear05 I’m having really faint positive preg tests from left over hormones from mc. Also got faint (but potentially stronger than the preg tests) on opk but will test with a morning urine as clearblue instructions say to use morning urine which I didn’t realise went for opks too.

Still got the stabbing pain, even when sat down now. Honestly hasn’t stopped since I got up this morn. Def feels like my ovulation pain. I don’t always get that every month. But it’s nice to have something going on right now, even if I don’t know what it is yet. Had some cm this morn just creamy but keep my eye out for that egg white. DTD yday but going to go for an extra tonight just incase this pain is ovulation related 🤞🏻

Are any of you ladies on Fitbit and would like an extra friend lol? I’m still upping my walking and trying to beat my steps each day. On 11k+ today my best yet since I started using it again last week. X

MichT4 · 23/07/2020 21:19

@VP91x @MrsK21 I don't think HIIT alone is an issue, I was doing multiple sessions a day sometimes. I'm sure in moderation it's as good an exercise choice as any xx

Rebecca1992 · 23/07/2020 21:17

Just marking my place also....wow we seem to fly through treads!! I love reading these, I'm sticking around for the long haul...its like an online family 🥰

Hayley19835 · 23/07/2020 21:14

@VP91x thanks for tag for new thread xx

VP91x · 23/07/2020 21:09

@Mommybear05 I hope this TWW goes quickly for you 🥰 thank you for all the tips, I'll look into them. I had my scan today and they diagnosed PCOS, so going to see how I can regulate it and hopefully get things working a bit better again. I love that you have christmas decs already, garlands are so pretty xx

@MichT4 that makes sense, these things can get addictive. I'll start focusing on weighted workouts so that it doesn't cause any extra stress.

@Lollol86 that sounds like a super busy day, your weekend sounds lovely though. I hope it doesn't make you too upset to see the little one though, hopefully the thought of it is worse than the reality. Not much planned for tomorrow, might do a deep clean again too to get my mind off things xx

@Northernsoul90 I know 😂 nice that we are a chatty bunch though.

@Rb486 thank you so much, yeah I'm tempted to ask more about the clomid with the doctor. Will see what they say on Monday. Hope you are ok? xx

@vp91x thank you for the new thread. Sorry to hear about the PCOS diagnosis and that it caused such a shock. My best friend has PCOS and she's got 2 DC. Once she was diagnosed, she was prescribed Clomid (I think!) which helped ensure she was ovulating, I think she'd been trying for a year at that point. There's lots of help available for PCOS now and sounds like others have given lots of sensible advice too. I'm sure your GP will be able to advise too. Sending you a big hug xxx

@MichT4 I didn't realise HIIT increases cortisol and the effect on progesterone! I've been doing a little bit as part of my exercise but will try and stick to weights and cardio for now x

Rb486 · 23/07/2020 20:52

@VP91x sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but like the other girls said it is very very common and so many women who have PCOS conceive naturally without any interventions. There is also lots of medications that can help, metformin, clomid etc. Hope you get your head round it all and are having a nice chilled evening with lots of naughty treats tonight 🍫 🍷

@MichT4 firstly I’m so sorry about your m/c, glad you found some comfort in tell your mum. It’s nice to have extra support when you need it most. I felt it was good to be open about it! Hope you and you’re OH are both okay and looking after each other 💕

@Mommybear05 yeah it’s so hard! Mine is my best best friend, so I want to be there for her and go through all the milestones like we would have done if I hadn’t of had my m/c but it does get tough! Loved your Christmas stocking idea! So cute... it’s lovely thinking of all those ideas and reveals. We will get to have those soon! I thought if I got my BFP this month, it’s my besties bday end of next month so I would wait to tell her for her bday!! We can only hope and pray!!

Northernsoul90 · 23/07/2020 20:48

Just marking my place, thanks for the new thread 😊 I can't believe how many threads we go through 😂

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 20:46

@Mommybear05 I love your garland. I've started my Christmas shopping too ❤️

Mommybear05 · 23/07/2020 20:42

@pugprincess oh gosh a faint positive? I bet the urge to keep peeing on a stick Is so real!! What would the doctors do about that? Xx

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 20:41

@Mommybear05 thank you and I hope for you too lovely xx

Mommybear05 · 23/07/2020 20:38

@Kitkatb0808 yes I have been buying Christmas presents since June. I’ve been wrapping them and cutting out the front of old cards (just ones that are not from family etc) and making gift tags with them. We had big family drama last Christmas so it was sh@te and then followed by mc and then corona it’s all been pretty crap. So I’m looking forward to a nice one this year. I have ordered some new Christmas garlands which I’m having for my 30th birthday. I tested them this week (yes I’m completely crazy!) on the stairs and I just can’t wait to have a nice time and then come new year kiss this sorry year goodbye! It’s been pretty awful! Xx

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 20:38

@VP91x it's a massive minefield. Today has been busy, I've been and got most of my eldest daughters school uniform, abit of food shopping and cleaned the house from top to bottom, but means I can have a nice chilled weekend now. I'm going to meet up with some of my dh family in Newbury tomorrow and his cousin had a baby in lockdown, this will be the first time I've seen him, just hoping I don't fall apart.
Do you have much planned for tomorrow? Xx

2020wish · 23/07/2020 20:34

Thanks for the new thread! Marking my place

Lollol86 · 23/07/2020 20:33

@VP91x thanks for the new thread 😘

Mommybear05 · 23/07/2020 20:31

@Lollol86 I really hope you do fall and get to do that 😍🎄

Mommybear05 · 23/07/2020 20:28

@Rb486 (did the tag work???)
Yes that’s it we just need to wait it out now! Yup I have a couple of pregnant friends and I really haven’t seen much of them. The ones pregnant are not exactly close friends. One is a friend of a friend and the other I meet with weekly for play group but I haven’t seen her in ages Cos the play group stopped. And she’s been shielding. I message here and there though. She is as pregnant as I would have been without mc so it really stings. I think I’ll feel better once pg again. Xx

MichT4 · 23/07/2020 20:24

@VP91x I didn't start it for that reason, but when I was overtraining I was doing HIIT workouts and was absolutely obsessed with it. I'd get antsy if I was stuck at work and wasn't going to make it.
So I guess in a way it was to do with it, because to stop me overtraining, I did something that is a hindrance to overtrain in. I also had to fuel my body properly, so it helped me eat better.
Obviously I should have eaten better with the HIIT but I was just in a very bad headspace xx
