@Northernsoul90 @MichT4 thanks ladies. Trying to be relaxed - have developed quite painful cramps on the front since lunchtime, but I am out and about currently so have to wait a little while longer to see if anything major is going on below (never have my nether regions been so closely observed!).

I have heard that sometimes the first AF after MC can be a replay of the pain associated with MC in the first place, so going to get myself home and then strap a hot water bottle to myself.

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 13:33

@Northernsoul90 did you end the day wanting to smack Mr Tumble in the face?
I'm fine thank you, really tired. I made the mistake of laying on the bed earlier and almost fell asleep. Given I'm working I thought I better get up and make myself a coffee 😴
Otherwise fine thank you. Had a bit of a temp drop last night, not really low but definitely away from where they have been. Not overthinking it, will just see what happens.

How are you? xx

Northernsoul90 · 24/07/2020 13:26

@MichT4 I managed to keep him entertained at home with nursery rhymes on YouTube and Mr Tumble... the weather was so rubbish here all day. How are you today? X

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 13:09

@Northernsoul90 what did you do with your nephew in the end?

@CasperFlamingo I think being a bit more relaxed can only be positive. The ideal is to test when you are definitely late, just tricky sometimes. I hope it's been a lucky month

Northernsoul90 · 24/07/2020 13:07

@CasperFlamingo No I understand that completely, you never know though... fingers crossed for you anyway and /or hopefully if no bfp af comes soon so things are clearer for you x

CasperFlamingo · 24/07/2020 12:15

@Northernsoul90 we did DTD this month although I didn't check ovulation or anything. If nothing more shows up by Monday I will test. Don't want to get my hopes up.

Northernsoul90 · 24/07/2020 12:11

@CasperFlamingo Will you be testing or were you not trying this month? Xx

Northernsoul90 · 24/07/2020 12:10

Ladies who drink Pom juice... how much do you drink per day in tww? I've just bought 3 bottles and really hoping that lasts as it's so expensive!!

CasperFlamingo · 24/07/2020 11:42

Marking my place as well as an update. So waiting for AF - first since MC end of June. Had a smattering of dark brown discharge yesterday so thought it was on its way (due today), the usual AF symptoms of sore lower back, grumpy arsiness, cramping along front, bloating, flatulence (so sexy).

And then nothing. I am usually regular to the day. After the little brown yesterday, zilch.

Was hoping to just get it over with! Who knows what's going on now?!

Northernsoul90 · 24/07/2020 11:40

Hope everyone is well this morning!

Glad you getting somewhere @Pugprincess fingers crossed for a peak soon 🤞🏼 xx

1990EM · 24/07/2020 11:28

@VP91x I forgot to say as well, when I was diagnosed with PCOS my GP at the time was so lovely, and she told me that she had never had a patient with PCOS who didn't eventually manage to get pregnant and have a baby. To me that meant the world!

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 11:26

@SmileyT I just saw your message on the previous thread. Love that you have one sore boob! Please share how you are feeling - we won't think you are complaining. What date is your scan again?
Definitely can't be good all the time - have to enjoy the occasional battered sausage (also no pun intended) and chips xx

Rainbowhope11 · 24/07/2020 11:13

@VP91x oh I forgot to say how I am 😂 I am on CD 4 now. The bleeding I had earlier this week is still there. I have some cramps as well, so I think this is my AF. I may have to readjust my dates if the bleeding gets heavier. But for now I've just counted the first day of light spotting as CD1. The peak clearblue that I got early this week must have definitely been a surge in hormones prior to AF. I'm trying not to look too much into it. I'm just happy to be on a new cycle for the first time in a long time. The pregnitude has done its job haha

Rainbowhope11 · 24/07/2020 11:09

@VP91x I've been feeling really good on it actually. My skin has been crazy post MC, because of the crazy hormones, but I've just gone through my first box of pregnitude and my skin is looking so much better. Also, you know I haven't had AF since the beginning of May right. I started taking the pregnitude on 21 June, and I now have AF started on 21 July, after finishing my first box.

So my experience is that it seemed to have regulate my hormones somehow, which is in line with all the reviews that I've read. I guess time will tell if it's going to keep my AF regular going forward, but it says on the box that within 3 months, it should.

I'll also add that when my doctor at the time told me that I may have PCOS a few years ago, he said to not stress about conceiving when the time comes. He said that there are many things that can be taken to help ovulate, and that this is quite common. I do understand your shock though, I remember feeling quite similar. Also, I had a scan of my ovaries sometime after my MC, and they didn't mention seeing any cysts. So the cysts definitely can disappear. Xx

1990EM · 24/07/2020 10:25

@VP91x just been catching up on all the news from yesterday and I'm sorry to hear all this!! Just thought I'd share my experience. When I was diagnosed with PCOS it was initially a shock and secondly a relief. I was assured of help finally because sad as it it, having a diagnosis means they take you seriously. So WELL DONE- you knew that something was wrong and you advocated for yourself. Now you have answers and can make a plan.
I have managed to have two full term normal pregnancies with no interventions despite my PCOS. And mine was really BAD!! In the year before I conceived my first I literally had only two periods in 12 months, I was on the verge of starting treatment when I got that BFP. I know im so so blessed to now be carrying hopefully our third baby now and i dont take it for granted a single day. So even though PCOS is a pain it's not the end of the story ❤ if anyone can do this, you can!! I'm not an expert like @MichT4 but if there are any questions I can help with please fire away!

Pugprincess · 24/07/2020 09:43

Oh looking at my preg test there is still a faint line but oh well who cares I’m ovulating lol. Clear blue lines stronger today for sure.

Pugprincess · 24/07/2020 09:42

Morning ladies! Well I have had some uplifting news this morn. My preg test is now neg and I got my flashy smiley face on cb opk 😁😁😁 I knew that pain yesterday meant something!! Glad I trusted my gut and not that circle ⭕️. We DTD last night and DH is coming home around lunchtime today so I’ve said when he gets in, tonight and tomorrow morning 😂 I don’t know if that’s too much but I want enough sperm up there ready and waiting. X

Runnergirl1 · 24/07/2020 09:38

Just marking my place. Hope your feeling better today regarding you PCoS @VP91x I bet that was a bit of a shock. Glad they got you in though for tests quickly xx

Mommybear05 · 24/07/2020 09:36

@Pugprincess aw I see it’s hormones from before. I hope that clears up soon for you fingers crossed 🤞. And yes dtd regularly to be sure. I also find tracking cm to be really helpful. I haven’t got a Fitbit I’m afraid! But it’s good you are getting your exercise. I’ve been saying for ages I need to do something Xx

Mommybear05 · 24/07/2020 09:31

@Rb486 that sounds like a lovely idea to tell your friend for her birthday. With my son I told my nan for her birthday. I wrote it in her birthday card. I really hope you get to do this. Tbh with my close friend I have completely drifted from them since the mc and covid. I’ve mentioned before. They don’t know about my mc. I would have told them but my ‘best’ friend told me about one of her friends (the one pg again now 🌈) having a miscarriage. She had confided in her and she just told me like it was no big deal to pass on such personal information. That was when I was pg and just before I miscarried myself. And I just thought you know what I can’t trust you. You aren’t keeping her confidence so you won’t keep mine. And then I mc myself and my feelings now are just that I don’t want to confide in her so the closeness is gone. But I’ve not confronted her about it because I don’t see what to be gained other than a potential argument (and I really don’t need stress now) and I still wouldn’t trust her again. That’s ok though I’m ready for new things. This thread and group has really helped me so much more than any people who I know face to face so I thank everyone 💓 xx

Mommybear05 · 24/07/2020 09:21

@calimommy me too I find it hard to keep up! Great to have such an active thread though x

Mommybear05 · 24/07/2020 09:20

@VP91x sorry to hear about your pcos 😢 I have a friend who has that and I know it causes things to be irregular. Have they discussed with you any treatment?? Anything they can do to help you conceive? Xx

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 07:42

@VP91x ahh good, did you find it useful?
I didn't go low carb in the end. Part of it was to find our tolerance to carbs so we had to take our blood sugars at certain points. It turned out I was better with carbs so I didn't need to.
I think it can help if it's insulin related because it just allows you to not spike your insulin.

xx

Tink20058 · 24/07/2020 06:57

Thanks for the new thread xxx

VP91x · 24/07/2020 06:55

@Rainbowhope11 ah, I really didn't realise how common it could be. I just felt so shocked by it yesterday. Have you still been taking the pregnitude? How have you been feeling on it if you have? Also, how are you xx

@SmileyT thank you so much for thinking of me this morning 🥰 I'm feeling a tiny bit better, I had a bit more of a cry last night mainly because it seems like a much longer road if I'm not ovulating much, but I've been googling loads. Trying to get a few questions together for the doctors on Monday. How are you feeling? Xx

@MichT4 I've watched a webinar already 🥰 I'm going to watch the nutrition when I'm back from the nursery drop off, did you go low carb? I've seen that it can help? Xx
