TTC after MC - July/August 2020 (Thread 8)

@Jazper you’ve described it so well there - I can’t deal with the rollercoaster of emotions, it’s too much. I’m overwhelmed all the time and feel hopeless especially with doctors not being very helpful.

I’ve been diagnosed with autoimmune issues (rheumatoid arthritis) which can apparently have a link with recurrent early miscarriage as my immune system sees embryos as ‘foreign’ and basically kills them off. No idea if this is the real issue as they will only test after three miscarriages and I’ve ‘only’ had two
I’m getting passed back and forth between gynae, rheumatologist and GP - none of whom seem to know what to do or prescribe and I’m literally begging for a referral to RMC but they won’t as I haven’t had enough losses.

Oh @Diorissimo1985 , you have lots of hands here to hold. We are with you, we understand, we sympathise. That stage leading up to af is so bloody difficult, especially when you feel like it's coming. My whole cycle is an emotional roller coaster. I feel dreadful on the run up to af, sad, depressed, angry, frustrated, then I feel relieved when she arrives (after numerous negative tests 🙄), then full of hope during and for about a week after, then all sorts of pressure and frustration during fertile week - 'have we done enough?' 'When should we go again'... etc etc, then hopeful again for a bit of the tww, then go back in to negativity for the latter half of the tww (probably subconsciously preparing myself for a negative outcome).
Anyway, I've rambled there but, you are not alone ❤️

Thank you for the new bus @VP91x , I really can't believe how quickly our group moves! It's really lovely that it's so busy on here. I can always guarantee every time I come on there'll be something new to read/more updates 😊

Can I ask why everyone is drinking Pom juice in the tww only? I must admit, with my more relaxed approach this month, I haven't drank much at all but last cycle I did, and everything I have read points towards the proliferative stage as being as important for uterine thickening as the tww. It actually begins to thicken as soon as bleeding ceases so I would have thought getting some Pom in a few days prior to this would help?
Not interfering if you are happy just drinking it in your tww, just sharing info I have read so nobody misses out ☺️

Also, as a side note, and for the interest of those taking out second mortgages for said ridiculously overpriced Pom juice 😝 - as I said earlier, I drank a lot of the stuff last cycle and I do strongly believe it did thicken my lining as my period was heavier and slightly longer than bleeds prior to that, post mc 🤞🏼

Ladies, need a bit of a handhold.. I’m not testing until tomorrow but I just know AF is on her way. Very emotional, angry, twinges in tummy, and IBS is playing up. I’ve been crying on and off all day I’m so fed up of all the TTC and getting nowhere with doctors. Just keep thinking I’ve been pregnant twice this year and there’s still no baby. Sorry to be a downer... xxx

@Northernsoul90 Ben and holly are ok until you hear too much from the droany grown up fairy thing. Same voice as one of the peppa pig characters.

I don't have kids, just nieces and nephews, hence my sketchy recollection.

Currently we watch a lot of the pineapple pen song. Google it 😂😂

@calimommy I just got a peak the other day and then got AF. As @VP91x said, apparently some of us can get a second Lh surge before AF. Lovely isn't it 😫 as if things aren't confusing enough for us!

@Runnergirl1 gosh how frustrating. Especially when they can see it right there. Are you still bleeding at all? At least they are continuing to see you, hopefully you'll get the all clear at the next appointment

@VP91x good! Make them hate you so much that they just want you out of the room. Pretty sure that's how that doctor said yes so quickly to my blood tests - I reckon it was all over my notes that I was a lunatic lady xx

@VP91x - so I went into hospital again today and I’ve passed most but still have the sac remaining but it’s close to the cervix so I’ve decided to wait another week and see if I can pass it naturally, if not I’ll get myself back in and have an intervention. But I am booked in again 7th August for yet another scan 🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s mentally exhausting this I can’t lie x

@VP91x you're gathering some really useful data though, will hopefully be a really positive appointment on Monday now as you have all your ducks lined up 🐥

I have never taken any contraception so always had pretty normal cycles each miscarriage has messed it up then went back to normal. I am early occasionally but not late 🙄 only dtd cd 9 11 and 13 so so gave up hope for late implantation and must had ov late

Not wasting anymore money on tests but considering a micro phone to start hollering up there 📢hellllloooo.....flooooo 👂🤷‍♀️
